Chapter 322: Don't You Want Me Anymore?

"Andrew, you are doing great. Slow down. Don't rush. Don't push yourself too hard. If it's too difficult, lean on something..."

Old Mrs. Lesser watched as Andrew stood up with the guidance of the doctor and then slowly moved his feet. She was both nervous and worried.

It was as if Andrew was just a one-year-old baby learning how to walk.

Perhaps it was because of Zach's provocation that Andrew's determination was incredibly strong. The doctor said that if he wanted to walk like a normal person, it would probably take at least two months to avoid further harm.

But Andrew clearly didn't want to take that long. He tried his best to limp forward with a frown.

Just then, the door was forcefully pushed open with a loud bang, causing Old Mrs. Lesser, Andrew, and the doctor to turn their heads in shock.

The next second, Vivian rushed in angrily, ignored the doctor, and went straight to stand in front of Andrew, staring at him with bloodshot eyes full of hostility.

"Dad! What do you mean? Why did you accept Nancy as your apprentice?"

Andrew's legs were weak. He leaned against the wall as he looked at Vivian coldly.

"Nancy's piano skills were taught by me. Why can't I accept her as my apprentice?"

Vivian was stunned and then felt a moment of panic in her heart...

Previously, she had twisted the truth in front of the Lesser family and said so many bad things about Nancy just to make them hate her.

But now, Andrew's words clearly contradicted everything she had said before...

The fear in her heart instantly calmed her down. Looking at Andrew's expressionless face, she bit her lip hard and sobbed with a sense of grievance.

"But Dad, I took care of you all those years when you were lying in bed. Now, you accept Nancy as your apprentice and let her into the Lesser family. What about me?"

She lifted her hand and pointed at herself, tears streaming down her face in great sorrow. "You know very well that Nancy and I have a bad relationship. She once said she would take everything that belonged to me when I was in the Mirren Family. Now that I've finally come back to the Lesser family, you bring her in. Don't you... don't you want me anymore?"

Although Andrew felt disappointed by what Vivian had done before, after all, she was his biological daughter.

How could he watch her be so heartbroken and so sad?

"Vivi..."

He raised his hand and gently placed it on Vivian's shoulder. "Don't overthink it. I'm just accepting her as my apprentice. You're still the daughter of the Lesser family. How could she shake your position?"

"That's not it..."

Vivian pouted, shook her head, and stared at Andrew in frustration. "She's very cunning. My mom knows that Nancy is not her biological daughter, but in the end, I was kicked out of the Mirren Family, and my mom still treats Nancy like her own daughter. I... I'm just worried..."

Old Mrs. Lesser rolled her eyes in disgust.

She knew what Vivian was thinking.

But Andrew still cared about Vivian, so she couldn't do much. She could only say coldly, "What is there to be afraid of?! You are Andrew's daughter. Who can shake your position?"
