Chapter 332: I Can't Afford It

Upon hearing these words, Vivian instantly became jealous. Her face turned red, and her eyes became watery.

Linda had a private jet, and Nancy would have one soon. How could she, the daughter of the Lesser family, not have one?

She was furious.

She glanced at Alexander sitting at the back over the shoulders of Charlie and Nancy.

Alexander rolled his eyes and said, "Don't look at me. I can't afford it."

Even if he could afford it, he wouldn't buy one for Vivian!

Vivian clenched her teeth and turned to Andrew, "Dad, Nancy is going to have a private jet. I want one too!"

Andrew's face slightly changed, but he didn't lose his temper. "The Lesser family has a private jet. If you want to use it, you can apply for it..."

"That's not the same!"

Vivian grabbed Andrew's arm with both hands and pouted. "It belongs to the Lesser family. I want my own. Can't you buy one for me?"

Finally, anger welled up in Andrew's heart. "Vivi, you are too vain. Must you have everything that others have?"

"Yes!"

As Vivian spoke, tears started streaming down her face. "I've suffered so much before in the Mirren Family. Samuel's son Daniel drives a car worth millions while I can only afford one worth hundreds of thousands. Daniel gets a monthly allowance of one hundred thousand while I only get fifty thousand. Now that I've finally returned to the Lesser family, why should I still have to suffer?"

If Samuel heard these words, he would have been furious!

Even Andrew felt disappointed.

Vivian was too greedy and ungrateful!

No matter how much effort he put into her, she would always compare herself to others. Once she felt she was lacking in material possessions compared to someone else, she would become dissatisfied, complain, and even resent...

Andrew pushed Vivian's hands off his arm and turned his face away. His pressed lips expressed how disappointed he was.

He didn't even want to explain anymore, let alone continue educating Vivian. All he wanted was to be alone for a while.

Vivian stared at Andrew, feeling a sense of grievance. But when she saw Andrew's cold profile, she quickly realized that she had said something wrong and made Andrew unhappy.

"Dad..."

She tentatively shook Andrew's arm and whispered, "I don't want a private jet anymore. I was just joking. Please don't be angry."

Andrew nodded, but he still maintained a cold demeanor.

Vivian bit her lip, not daring to say anything else, and obediently sat beside him.

After more than ten hours, they finally arrived.

Outside the airport, there were ten identical Maseratis parked.

As Charlie and the others walked out, a man leading the group immediately ran over and stood in front of Charlie, respectfully saying, "Young Master Firth, the cars are ready."

Andrew glanced at the ten Maseratis there and chuckled. "Charlie, it seems that you were indeed low-key before."

Charlie held Nancy's hand and chuckled softly, "I've been in this country for three years. It's not worth mentioning."

Alexander's eyes widened.

The license plates were not ordinary. If it were him, he would have shown off everywhere. Charlie, however, remained so humble.

Humph!

Charlie was just ostentatious!
