Chapter 345: It Was Only Natural

Andrew invited Patrick to lunch.

They ordered many delicious dishes in the hotel dining room.

Linda whispered something to Patrick, and he looked at Nancy and then at Vivian. A faint smile appeared on his lips.

It was quite interesting that they were only cousins.

"Nancy, have some shrimp."

Charlie put peeled shrimp into Nancy's bowl and served her a bowl of lobster porridge, taking care of her every need.

Charlie doted on Nancy while Alexander only focused on his own food, which made Vivian furious.

"Alexander, I want some shrimp."

Alexander glanced at her, put a shrimp in her bowl, and continued eating.

Vivian angrily pushed her bowl in front of him, "Peel it for me."

Alexander frowned and asked in a low voice, "Can't you do it yourself?"

"I..."

If it weren't for Linda and Patrick, Vivian would have definitely thrown her bowl at Alexander's face!

She narrowed his eyes and said through gritted teeth, "Alexander, I am your wife. It's only natural for you to peel the shrimp for me..."

Seeing that she was about to cause a scene, Alexander stood up in annoyance and walked away without saying a word.

"Hey, you..."

Vivian was about to call him, but he had already walked out of the door.

Andrew shook his head silently.

As a man, he could see that Alexander didn't really have any feelings for Vivian.

Even though he was Vivian's father, he couldn't force Alexander to love her.

He had reminded and warned Alexander before, and he really couldn't control them.

"Honey, I'm going to the restroom."

Nancy whispered softly in Charlie's ear and walked out.

The restroom was not far from their private room, and Nancy arrived after a two-minute walk. When she went in, there was no one at the entrance, but when she came out, Alexander was leaning against the wall smoking.

Seeing him, Nancy turned to leave without saying anything.

"Nan..."

Alexander suddenly called her name. Nancy frowned and kept walking.

Alexander continued, "I'm sorry."

"Hmm?"

Nancy stopped in her tracks and turned to look at him, "Why are you apologizing to me?"

With a cigarette between his fingers and mixed feelings, Alexander softly licked his lips as he looked at Nancy.

"Back in City Hando, I mistook you for Vivian and did some things that were not right towards you."

He looked apologetically at Nancy and bowed slightly, "I never had the chance to apologize to you, but now I want to say sorry."

Nancy looked at him flatly. She didn't care about it anymore. It was just that she had a bad impression of Alexander.

But now that he was apologizing to her, she changed her opinion of him.

"Well, I accept your apology. I'm glad you and Vivian have become a happy couple, and I wish you happiness."

Nancy turned around and happily walked towards the private room.

Looking at her departing figure, Alexander frowned...

A happy couple?

Was she mocking him?
