Chapter 347: Leave Her Alone

Nancy was easygoing and didn't want to embarrass Andrew, so she smiled, "Master, let her go first."

Patrick also tried to mediate, "It's okay. We have plenty of time anyway."

Andrew sighed and nodded at Vivian.

Vivian shook her hands and then placed them on the piano keys. She slightly closed her eyes and began to play seriously.

As soon as she finished playing, both Patrick and Andrew fell silent.

There was no applause like Linda received after her performance, and Vivian felt a sense of unease.

"What are you all doing? Why aren't you applauding for me?"

Patrick pursed his lips lightly and remained silent.

Andrew sighed heavily and then said, "Vivi, your performance doesn't have major issues, but what defines a pianist is that they bring their own artistic conception when playing music."

He shook his head and continued, "When you play, we can't feel your artistic conception nor the artistic conception within the music. You're like a machine, solely responsible for finishing this piece without any involvement of your own emotions, let alone artistic conception."

Vivian knew that she still had a lot to improve on and she had never experienced the artistic conception that Andrew talked about.

But she couldn't accept it, "But I have put a lot of effort into practicing, and I don't think my performance is bad..."

"Not bad?"

Andrew sneered, "You are only at an elementary level. It might be considered good in your country, but compared to the geniuses, you're just ordinary..."

"Ordinary?!"

Vivian suddenly stood up, angrily shouting, "I am the youngest pianist in Henriana! Dad, how can you say that my level is only elementary? How can you criticize your own daughter?"

Patrick rubbed his temples awkwardly. In fact, he thought Andrew's evaluation was already quite gentle. If it were up to him, he would simply use one word to describe Vivian, "mediocre!"

He didn't even know where Vivian got the confidence to participate in this training camp.

Those who participated in this training camp were top talents from various countries around the world. Even if some countries or regions were relatively backward, anyone randomly picked from those areas would surpass Vivian.

But he couldn't bring himself to say these words aloud.

Seeing Patrick struggle to hold back his laughter, Vivian couldn't bear it any longer and stomped her foot in anger. "You guys don't really want to guide me seriously! Humph! I don't care!"

After saying that, she turned around and walked towards the door. Under everyone's gaze, she opened the door and slammed it shut.

She seemed very furious.

Patrick turned his head, awkwardly looking at Andrew.

Andrew shook his head, "Leave her alone. I've already told her before that she's better off not coming to this training camp. It's only going to discourage her. If she can't even listen to my guidance now, then she definitely won't listen to the other teachers' advice even if she enters the training camp."

After saying that, he waved his hand at Nancy, "Nan, you go ahead. It's not easy to receive guidance from Patrick."
