Chapter 351: How Could I Possibly Have That!?

"What!? Kidnapping!?"

Andrew Lesser hastily got up, still in his pajamas, with only a jacket thrown over his shoulders. Hearing Charlie Firth's words, he almost reflexively stepped out of his room. "Charlie, are you serious?"

"Yes."

Charlie's deep eyes glanced down the hallway, speaking in a low voice, "It's not convenient to talk here, let's go to my room."

"Okay, let's go."

Andrew was very anxious, eagerly following Charlie.

Alexander didn't like Charlie's attitude towards him, but Vivian was his wife in name, after all. Whether the kidnapping of Vivian was true or not, he had to find out for himself.

The three of them quickly arrived at Charlie's room. As soon as the door closed, Charlie's expression turned extremely grave.

"I just received an email with a video clip. I'll show it to you."

Charlie went over, opened his laptop, and played the video from his email.

Andrew, seeing Vivian's disheveled appearance in the video, immediately felt his eyes well up. "Vivi..."

Alexander felt nothing inside, but he still put on a worried face.

After watching the video, Alexander looked sternly at Charlie. "Well, Charlie, these people are targeting you!"

Charlie didn't argue. "Perhaps I offended some people while establishing markets in Europe, so I came along to Taurus for Nan's training camp, just to protect you all."

He then provocatively looked at Alexander. "Alexander, Vivian is your wife. What time is it now? Your wife didn't come home at night, and you didn't find it strange? Didn't even try to contact her?"

"I..."

Alexander intended to blame Charlie entirely, but he didn't expect Charlie to be so quick-witted, hitting him right where it hurt!

Indeed, as a husband, shouldn't he have been the first to notice?

It was already past eleven at night, and Vivian hadn't returned. Not only did he lack any sense of alertness, but he was also enjoying himself alone in his room...

Feeling Andrew's thinly-veiled angry gaze on him, he licked his lips and defensively said, "It's not my fault. She often goes out alone without telling me. I thought she couldn't stand the loneliness and went to a nightclub on her own."

He sounded somewhat aggrieved. "You know what she's like. I can't control her. If I try, at best, I get scolded, and at worst, she threatens to divorce me, so I..."

"Enough, stop arguing."

Nancy, sitting in front of the laptop, spoke out helplessly. "I just contacted them using Charlie's phone. They asked us to prepare a hundred million dollars in cash to ransom Vivian."

"A hundred million dollars!?"

Alexander's eyes almost popped out. "How could I possibly have that!?"

Andrew's face also looked grim. "If we were in Jing City, getting a hundred million dollars would be easy. But in Taurus, such a large amount of cash, how can we get it so quickly?"

Although the incident was targeted at Charlie, Vivian had nothing to do with him. Andrew was a reasonable man. He knew that if Charlie didn't want to help Vivian, he wouldn't even have shared the news, let alone the money. For Charlie to have done this much, he had already gone above and beyond.
