Chapter 369: Then I'll Pretend You Don't Exist

After a while, Linda left.

Charlie, seeing so many people still in the room, couldn't help but say, "You all must have your own things to do, go ahead. I'll take care of Nan here."

Andrew, sitting on a large sofa, shook his head indifferently, "I have nothing urgent, I'll stay here with Nan."

Charlie frowned, "Isn't Vivian participating in the elimination round today? Aren't you going to coach her?"

Andrew's eyes darkened at the mention, his expression showing deep distaste even though his words remained calm. It was clear he harbored a strong dislike for Vivian while looking at Nancy.

"A last-minute effort is useless, and besides, would she even listen to me?"

Well.

This was a clear reference to Vivian's impulsive departure from the hotel due to anger yesterday, leading to her kidnapping.

Charlie didn't know what to say, and he turned to Alexander.

Alexander, seeing Charlie looking at him, straightened up immediately, "I don't understand piano, and I won't be of any help there. For my personal safety, I need to stay by Young Master Firth’s side."

His statement, grandiose as it was, left Charlie momentarily speechless.

"Fine then."

Charlie stood up, "Since everyone’s here, let's play a game of Fight the Landlord."

"Fight the Landlord?"

Both Andrew and Alexander were taken aback.

"Yes."

Charlie said, stretching his neck as if warming up for a physical activity, "We might as well play Fight the Landlord since we're free."

He didn't want these two to just sit there, staring at his woman!

What's so interesting to look at?

Besides, Nancy was his woman!

Andrew didn't object, as he simply wanted to be in the same room as Nancy, but Alexander couldn't help but grumble.

"Nan is still sick! Isn't playing card games a bit inappropriate?"

Charlie gave him a cold glance, "You sound so reasonable. Fine, then I'll pretend you don't exist and get cozy with Nan..."

"Wait!"

Alexander immediately stood up, moving a stool closer to the table.

"Since we're free and can't go anywhere, let's play the game then. I might even make some pocket money."

Charlie raised an eyebrow, fetched a deck of cards, and sat down on a single sofa.

Nancy blinked in amusement, watching the three men actually start playing Fight the Landlord. She jumped out of bed, had Luna move a chair for her, and sat next to Charlie.

"I'll go wash some fruit for you guys."

Luna, smiling, took the fruit basket Linda had brought and went into the bathroom.

Soon, she came out with a plate of fruit, including a bunch of grapes, Nancy's favorite.

Nancy's hands were all bandaged, making it difficult for her to eat the grapes.

Charlie chuckled softly, put down his cards, and plucked a grape, leisurely peeling it.

He knew Nancy loved grapes but hated the skin.

After peeling it, he fed the grape to Nancy, who smiled sweetly and took the grape into her mouth...
