Chapter 380: Won't Offending One Lead to Offending the Other?

Smith's voice, both nervous and ingratiating, came through the phone.

"Mr. Firth, Mrs. Firth's performance was so stunning that it caused two judges to fight over who would give her their direct pass card."

Charlie's deep eyes shook intensely as he involuntarily glanced at Nancy.

Seeing his expression, everyone's gaze shifted to Charlie, and Nancy's already downcast heart sank further.

Had the results come out so soon?

Was she eliminated, and now the call had come to Charlie's phone?

Damn it....

Why did she have to be so unlucky?!

In the receiver, Smith continued.

"The scene was a bit chaotic, so the staff asked Mrs. Firth to leave first."

He then added with an embarrassed chuckle, "It must have been quite a sight for both you and Mrs. Firth."

Charlie's furrowed brows relaxed, and he chuckled softly, "Then what?"

"We managed to stop the judges and sat down calmly to come up with a solution."

Smith said slowly, "Given that neither judge would yield, the organizers decided to let Mrs. Firth choose. Whichever judge she prefers or has a better impression of, she can accept his direct pass card."

He also kindly reminded, "The direct pass card allows her direct entry into the training camp. Moreover, Mrs. Firth's choice will determine which team she joins. This decision is quite significant, so please have Mrs. Firth consider it carefully."

Charlie frowned again, "Choosing one, won't that offend the other?"

"Well..."

Smith laughed heartily, "Mr. Firth, don't worry about that. The judges are just passionate about talent and won't hold a grudge for not being chosen. Remember, in the history of the camp, it has always been the mentors choosing the contestants. Mrs. Firth's situation is a first, a real miracle for our training camp."

"Alright."

Charlie nodded, "send me the judges' information, and I'll have Nan take a good look. Once she's decided, I'll let you know."

He hung up to find several pairs of eager eyes fixed on him.

Chuckling, he walked over and sat beside Nancy.

He put down his phone, then held her injured left hand. "Nan, how did you come to think that you offended those judges?"

"I..."

Nancy was at a loss for words, her lips pouting as she struggled to articulate.

"They were fighting, clawing at each other's faces, pulling hair. It looked terrifying. Isn't that because of me?"

"Hahaha..."

Charlie burst into laughter, "Yes, but they were fighting over giving you their direct pass card. That's not offending them; that's them fighting over you!"

"What?!"

Linda jumped up excitedly, "Wow! Nancy! A direct pass card! They actually wanted to give you a direct pass card?"

"Yes."

Charlie nodded seriously, "Because both judges wanted to give her their card, they ended up fighting, and it seems it was quite intense..."
