Chapter 393: Sir, May I Toast to You?

Seeing Charlie's indifference, even lacking the polite nod he gave to Nancy and Linda when Lucy introduced herself, the next girl thought maybe it was because Lucy talked too much.

She coughed softly to attract Charlie's attention.

However, Charlie didn't even lift his gaze, and she could only smile awkwardly.

"My name is Rivata, from Elbonia."

Charlie didn't look at her, nor did he react in any way, so she couldn't continue either.

The last one was Alice. Although she also disdained Nancy for clinging to the big shot as soon as she arrived, she didn't try to make her presence felt in front of him like the other two, so she simply introduced herself and then fell silent.

The atmosphere became somewhat awkward at this point.

Smith immediately intervened to smooth things over, "Hehe, alright, everyone's introduced themselves, let's start eating!"

In Ryeland, it was definitely going to be a Western meal. Although this five-star hotel also had Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisine, Smith didn't think much about it and mostly ordered Western dishes.

Nancy looked at the knife and fork in front of her, feeling a bit troubled.

Her left hand hadn't fully recovered, and her fingers were all bandaged, making it difficult to use the cutlery.

Just as she was frowning in thought, Charlie called a waiter, "Waiter."

The waiter promptly came over respectfully, "Sir, how may I assist you?"

Charlie spoke in a flat tone, "Please bring a pair of chopsticks for this lady."

The waiter glanced at Nancy, nodded with a smile, and said, "Certainly, please wait a moment."

Lucy and Rivata felt quite bitter hearing this.

Charlie hadn't even looked at them during their introductions, let alone reacted, but now he was attentively asking for chopsticks for Nancy. This meticulous gentlemanly behavior deeply stung their hearts!

Had they known earlier, they would have boldly approached him as soon as they came in. If they had done so, Nancy wouldn't have mattered at all!

They were infuriated!

Linda Smith watched them with amusement, the colors in their eyes changing constantly. She leaned towards Nancy and whispered teasingly, "Heh, Nan, look at those two women across from you, they seem so angry their eyes could pop out. It seems like they're more interested in eating you than the meal!"

Nancy hadn't paid attention to this earlier, her mind on Charlie and her left hand. Only now did she look up and see that the two girls' gazes were not only unfriendly but even blazing with fury.

"Never mind them."

Her voice was very calm, as if the girls weren't staring at her.

Linda laughed playfully but didn't say anything more, her gaze towards the two girls becoming more provocative.

Soon, the chopsticks were brought over.

Nancy picked up the chopsticks and joined everyone else in eating.

One of the judges felt quite frustrated inside. The girl he brought was the most beautiful, yet she hadn't caught the big shot's eye, and he couldn't help feeling gloomy.

He nudged Lucy with his arm, and when she looked at him, he gestured towards Charlie, clearly wanting her to make a good impression.

Lucy also felt indignant. In her eyes, Nancy was just average-looking, nothing special, unlike herself, who was so voluptuous.

So, she stood up with her wine glass, pushed out her chest, bent over, and extended her glass towards Charlie, "Sir, may I toast to you?"
