Chapter 405: How Much of Her Skills Did She Display?

Nancy looked at the girl, "That's after you first said you definitely wouldn't give up the practice room and accused me of having a bad character!"

The girl, neck stiff and voice shrill, retorted, "You do have a bad character, not just in our group, but even members of other groups know it!"

"Enough!"

David sharply rebuked, glaring fiercely at the girl, "Did I ask you? Did I allow you to speak? Here, I am your teacher. You have no discipline, don't listen to me, then get out!"

His shout frightened the girl, causing her to shrink back and lower her head in grievance.

The other girls fell silent, none daring to speak.

David then turned to Nancy, "Did they really say they wouldn't let you use any practice room?"

Nancy nodded affirmatively, "Yes, teacher, I have no reason to lie."

"Good! Very good!"

David, holding the thermos, slowly turned around, his stern gaze sweeping across all the girls' faces.

"Since you've all banded together to isolate Nancy and Linda, fine, no problem. From now on, in my David's group, there are only two members, Nancy and Linda. The rest of you can leave!"

"What?"

"No way!"

Panic ensued among the girls.

They thought their numbers would protect them from any severe punishment, as too many penalties would disrupt the balance of the training camp.

They never imagined David himself would decide to dismiss them all without even consulting the organizers.

What was happening!?

"David, you've only heard Nancy's side of the story. Why didn't you ask us...?"

"Yeah, even if you favor Nancy, this is too biased..."

"Shut up!"

David roared, silencing their chatter, "In this group, only Nancy has the strength to vie for the championship. All of you combined are no match for her! You say I'm biased? I'm not afraid to tell you, here, there's no right or wrong, only strength! As long as you have the strength, no matter how much trouble you cause, how many mistakes you make, I can cover for you..."

He pointed at them, "You, without any strength, think only of causing trouble. Should I keep you for the New Year?"

His words ignited their indignation.

"How can you say we're not as good as her?"

"Yeah, are you judging just by the elimination round? I didn't even showcase half my true skills."

David looked at them coldly, then suddenly turned to Nancy, his tone softening, "Nancy, come here."

Nancy nodded and stepped forward beside David.

He gently held her left wrist, lifting her hand to show the injured palm to everyone.

"In the elimination round's one minute, Nancy severely injured her left hand. A normal person couldn't even play, but with that injured hand, she impressed me and Hamya deeply in just one minute."

"To give her the direct pass, Hamya and I even fought, disregarding our status. You think you didn't perform well in the elimination round, but what about her? Playing with a bleeding, burst wound, how much of her skills did she actually display?"
