Charlie turned to look at Yvonne, his deep eyes flashing a hint of coldness, the curve of his lips growing sharper as he forcefully pushed her hand away.
His voice turned icy, "Smith, every practice room should have a camera, right? Let's check the surveillance footage to see what really happened."
As he said this, he turned to Yvonne, his gaze hardening, "We must not wrongly accuse any good person."
Yvonne felt her heart sink, collapsing onto the floor.
Surveillance footage!
She had forgotten about that!
Smith nodded and immediately made a phone call. In no time, the video of the incident in the practice room was displayed on Smith's computer.
Yvonne's arrogant demeanor in the footage turned everyone cold, especially Charlie, whose chilling aura made Smith shift uncomfortably to the side.
Yvonne didn’t go over to watch; she knew all too well what the video contained. Before it even finished playing, she crawled up from the floor, kneeling and grabbing Charlie's pant leg.
"Sir, I didn’t mean to do that. Please help me. I’ll do anything you ask, I just don’t want to leave the training camp."
Charlie didn’t even glance at her, kicking her away with his leg. Was his leg something anyone could hold?
Smith, understanding Charlie's mood, stood up with a stern face, "Yvonne, the truth is clear now. You were hogging the practice room, preferring to play with your phone rather than letting Nancy and Linda use it."
"No... that’s not true."
Yvonne, crying, got up on her knees, pleading with Smith, "Even if it wasn’t me, Nancy and Linda would be refused by anyone in any practice room. It’s just my bad luck, you can’t blame it all on me."
"Well..."
Smith scoffed coldly, "You’re not unlucky; you’re just too arrogant! Do you think you own the training camp? Do as you please? One bad apple spoils the bunch, and I can't let you continue causing trouble."
"Smith... Smith..."
Yvonne was desperate, crawling to Smith, knocking her head on the floor as she begged, "Please don’t kick me out. I barely made it through the elimination round to get here. If I’m expelled, it’ll ruin my piano career..."
What was Smith to care about a minor pianist's career?
He had no reason to!
Especially when Yvonne's behavior was not to his liking. Even if Nancy and Linda were isolated, Yvonne’s actions were clearly aimed at inciting hostility towards Nancy.
Such a person, if left in the camp, would only cause more trouble. He didn't want to deal with these trivial issues every day.
He made another call on his phone, and soon two security guards entered the room.
He pointed at Yvonne, still crying on the floor, "Escort her out of the training camp. If she doesn't cooperate, don’t bother packing her belongings. Just pick them up and throw them out."
Yvonne's last glimmer of hope faded upon hearing these words...
She was being expelled from the training camp over a trivial matter...
