Chapter 416: Did You Upset Him?

Nancy, startled, quickly turned and covered Linda's mouth, "Keep your voice down!"

"Mmm..."

Linda nodded vigorously, waiting until Nancy let go of her mouth before excitedly whispering, "So it was your husband who came?"

"Yep."

Nancy told Linda about her plans to meet Charlie every morning for an hour. Linda's eyes turned heart-shaped as she listened.

"Ah, Nan, I'm so envious of you. Your husband is so good to you. I wish I could find a boyfriend like that."

Nancy stuffed a pair of chopsticks into Linda's hand with a smile, "Then think about what you want to eat tomorrow, and I'll ask him to bring it."

"Hehe..."

Linda was delighted, hugging Nancy's arm and sneakily planting a kiss on her cheek when Nancy wasn't looking.

"Having a husband like yours is wonderful, but having you is just as great! I wish I had a sister like you."

Suddenly, she remembered something and huffed angrily, "Vivian Lesser really doesn't know how lucky she is. Even if you aren't real sisters, you're still cousins. If she had been nicer to you, you would have treated her even better."

"Let's not talk about her."

Nancy picked up a piece of sweet and sour pork with her chopsticks, "With all this food, aren't you going to eat?"

"Eat! Eat! Of course, I'll eat!"

Linda, a food lover, couldn't resist the delicious spread.

She happily joined Nancy in eating.

...

In the afternoon, Andrew and Patrick came to the training room to guide Nancy and Linda. They stayed until the end but didn't see David, which puzzled them.

"Nan, did David come by this morning?"

Nancy, packing up, shook her head, "No."

Patrick and Andrew exchanged glances. Patrick asked, "Did you do something to upset him?"

Linda and Nancy looked at each other, then both shook their heads, "No, he hasn't been here since he left yesterday. You were there too."

This was surprising.

Andrew frowned deeply, thinking hard, and then sighed, "Maybe he didn't like your choice of ethnic music for the public competition and that's why he didn't come."

"No way."

Nancy picked up her bag, "Teacher David isn't so petty, and if he were upset, he would have said something then."

"Why not?"

Patrick sighed and shook his head, "He did say yesterday that it wasn't quite suitable, but seeing how excited and confident you two were, what else could he say?"

"Oh..."

Linda sheepishly touched her nose, "Is he really that petty?"

"Well, let it be."

Nancy waved her hand dismissively, "We've already decided on the pieces for this time. We'll seriously consider his opinion next time."

As they walked out, Nancy suddenly thought of something and turned to Andrew, "Master, you've been with me all this time. Aren't you going to check on Vivian?"

Andrew had come to the camp under the guise of being both Nancy and Vivian's Master. However, he had spent all his time with Nancy, leaving Vivian without guidance.
