Chapter 428: Why Haven't You Ever Bragged About This to Me?

Linda felt like she had been hit by a thousand-pound hammer. She turned her head in shock, looking at Nancy in surprise, "Nan, am I seeing things? Was Zach greeting you?"

Nancy's face turned slightly red, and she smiled sheepishly, "Yeah, it seems so."

"Ah..."

Linda let out an exaggerated shriek, "Oh my God! Nan! Zach greeted you!? He knows you?"

"Ah..."

Nancy bit her lip forcefully, her face turning more awkward, "Yes, he invited me as a special guest when he had a concert in Liverton. We performed a four-hand piano piece together..."

"Pfft..."

Linda almost spat out blood in shock, completely taken aback.

"Four-hand piano with Zach!? You performed with Zach, and you never bragged about this to me!?"

Nancy, indeed not one to boast, always kept a low profile. She hadn't expected Zach to be here today.

She touched her increasingly hot face and chuckled awkwardly, "Is it really that impressive? I thought it was just fine..."

"What do you mean, just fine!?"

Linda, infuriated, stood up, almost wishing she could punch Nancy in the face, "This kind of thing would be a matter of pride for anyone! If Zach played a four-hand piano piece with me, I could boast about it for a year!"

"Cough cough... cough cough..."

Linda was so excited that Nancy quickly pressed down on her shoulders, pulling her back to her seat. Watching her overly enthusiastic reaction, Nancy sighed deeply.

"Linda, we shouldn't just focus on the past; we need to look forward. In my heart, I truly don't think it's something worth bragging about. When you reach Zach's level, would you still brag about past achievements?"

"You’re absolutely right, Nan!"

Patrick nodded in approval, "Linda, look at Nan's attitude. That’s the mindset of someone destined for great things. You really need to learn a lot from Nan."

Finally calming down from her excitement and heeding her teacher's advice, Linda hummed in acknowledgment, "Alright! From now on, I'll follow Nan and learn more from her."

Those nearby had also noticed Zach and Parmelo, and many were looking in their direction.

Despite the presence of several famous pianists, none seemed quite on par with those two.

Many were visibly excited, their eyes shining as they looked at the two men.

Nancy, ignoring the others and having calmed Linda, didn't look their way again.

Zach, having greeted Nancy, expected her to come over for a chat, but Nancy just smiled and stayed put.

This left Zach feeling somewhat uneasy.

"Mr. Firth, did I do something wrong? Did I upset Nan?"

Charlie, who had also noticed the interaction, shook his head with a smile, "No, she's been busy with the training camp since you left. How could you have upset her?"

Zach frowned deeply, puzzled, "Then why didn't she seem happy to see me?"

At that moment, the four mentors approached, initially intending to greet Zach and Parmelo. Hearing Zach's words, David instantly became excited.

"Zach, you know Nancy?"
