Chapter 455: Found Money?

The woman, seeing the old man’s pleading eyes, nodded slowly, "I can convey your message to the head of the family, but the final decision is theirs. I cannot interfere."

"I... I understand..."

The old man was acutely aware that the decision was beyond his and the woman's control. It depended on the family head's willingness. However, the fact that the woman was willing to convey his request was already a great help. He nodded gratefully.

The woman didn't say anything more and left the hospital room.

As she stepped out, she immediately took out her phone and made a call, "Check Mr. Law's transaction records from three days ago. Remember, you must find accurate information about that person, and ideally, find out his current address in Taurus."

After hanging up, a sharp and cold light flickered in the woman’s astute eyes.

The family's secret being known and possessed by outsiders was a serious matter for the family.

She had to find that girl!

...

Nancy and Linda resumed their daily training. Like before, Andrew and Patrick would come in the afternoon, but David's attitude had changed.

Before the first public performance, David, holding a grudge, had never visited Nancy and Linda’s training room. But since the preparation for the second public performance started, David had been diligently visiting every day.

Although the number of members in each group had been reduced after the first public performance, David's special attention to Nancy and Linda created a sense of disparity among the members of his group.

"I feel like I'm just here to make up numbers for Nancy," one girl said with envy.

"Indeed. Though Nancy does have some talent, David doesn't need to spend most of his time with her, right? He only takes a cursory look at us and doesn’t offer much targeted advice," another added.

A group of girls gathered, sharing their dissatisfaction and envy.

"That's the problem with being in the same group as Nancy," another girl lamented.

"But have you noticed that even Zach was on her side during the public performance? They obviously know each other."

At that moment, Yuna entered excitedly. The girls, seeing her animated demeanor, looked at her curiously.

"Yuna, what's got you so excited? Did you find money?"

"Hahaha..."

Yuna dragged a chair over, joining them at the table, and asked mysteriously, "Guess what I just saw?"

Intrigued by her expression, the girls' eyes lit up with gossip and excitement, "What did you see?"

Yuna grinned, leaned forward, and whispered, "I just saw Nancy sneaking into Smith’s office!"

"WHAT!?"

The girls exclaimed, shocked by the bombshell.

Considering Yvonne's fate, one of the more cautious girls asked, "But isn’t it normal for Nancy to visit Smith’s office? Maybe she had something to discuss with him?"

Another girl nodded in agreement, "Exactly. Nancy previously asked Smith for an extra piano. Maybe she went to see him for something similar."

"Nonsense!"

Yuna retorted, clearly annoyed. "If Nancy had something legitimate to discuss with Smith, why would she need to sneak around?"
