Xander and his three companions held their breath for a moment, all simultaneously giving Nancy a thumbs-up, "Boss, that's domineering!"
Then, Nancy used the company's internal email system, which she had just set up, to send out a mass email.
Almost seconds later, Charlie replied immediately, "Everyone Nancy tagged, meet in conference room one in ten minutes!"
Seeing Charlie's email, Thomas was once again thoroughly impressed with Nancy.
"Boss, you're awesome. Mr. Firth himself is calling people for you. Now we all feel relieved, hehe..."
Nancy smiled but didn't say much. She first returned to her office, tidied up a bit, and then went downstairs with her laptop.
Xander and the others were already waiting for her downstairs, each holding their own laptops. For programmers, their computers are their life!
With Charlie's order, the company's executives ran faster than horses. Nancy and her group hadn't arrived yet, but they were already there early.
"Hmph! Nancy is putting on quite the show. She's the one who called the meeting, and she's later than us. What, is she really playing up the role of the president's wife?"
"Hey, don't say that. After all, she is the president's wife. Didn't you see? As soon as she sent out the email, Mr. Firth ordered us to be there. Be careful not to offend her, or Mr. Firth will make you regret it!"
"Hehe, I think Nancy must have faced resistance in the tech department. Probably those programmers don't listen to her at all, and that's why she's reluctantly asking Mr. Firth for support!"
"That's right. The tech department guys may not have the skills, but they sure have the temper. Just being the president's wife is not enough to win them over."
"Hahaha... Do you think Nancy will cry in front of Charlie? That would be quite the spectacle."
At this moment, Simon Blackwell walked in, and the executives started laughing joyously upon seeing him.
"Simon, did you give the president's wife a cold shoulder?"
Simon placed his laptop on the table, his eyes and eyebrows filled with pride, "Do I need to give her a cold shoulder? My team could take her down in minutes!"
"Hahaha..."
One of the executives laughed mischievously, "Simon, that's not very noble of you! She's the president's wife, after all. You and your guys picking on one woman, be careful or Mr. Firth might fire you!"
Simon raised an eyebrow, unafraid, "Let him fire me. I'm not bragging, but if I leave, those four will definitely follow me. Let's see how that woman commands with no one around. She really thinks she can boss me around!"
"Heh, Simon, using such tactics against a woman, you're quite shameless, aren't you?"
Simon remained unfazed, "So what? I've been with the company for many years. If not for my achievements, then for my hard work, I deserve the director's position, right? But what happened? Mr. Firth brings his wife over and places her above me without a word. I'm really not keen on serving under her!"
"If you don't want to serve, then get lost!"
Suddenly, a woman's voice rang out at the door. All the executives looked over, only to see Nancy standing there proudly with her laptop, followed by four people. Those four looked familiar - weren't they Xander and his team from the tech department?
At this, the expressions on the executives' faces immediately turned to one of anticipation for the drama to unfold...
