Chapter 525 I Don't Want to Trouble You

In society, which man doesn't care about his face?

Being publicly humiliated by a woman, not to mention Henry, which man could stand it?

Nancy took a deep breath, "Didn't you call the police then?"

"We and Damian thought about calling the police, but the second daughter said that the Lesser family covers the sky with one hand in Liverton. If we called the police, they would instead sue us for causing trouble at their company, and in the end, we would not be able to escape the consequences!"

Nancy's eyes turned cold, and she slapped her hand on Henry's room door.

"Henry, open the door!"

The door was knocked "bang bang" but there was no movement inside.

Nancy's face grew darker, and after knocking a few more times, still no one responded. Charlie gently tugged at her, then made a phone call to Maid Heather, who soon came up with a key.

Nancy took the key, inserted it into the lock, turned it, and the door opened.

The lights were off inside, and it was pitch dark. Nancy raised her hand to the switch, and with a "click," the lights came on, illuminating Henry's face as he sat at the foot of the bed.

"Henry!"

Seeing him, Nancy's heart ached fiercely, and she immediately walked over, bent down, and grabbed Henry's arm, "Come on, let's go to the hospital."

Henry didn't speak but shook off Nancy's hand and turned his face away.

Close up, Nancy could see Henry's eyes were red, but because of his stubbornness, he was holding back the tears from falling.

But Nancy knew, the grievances in his heart were enough to destroy all his pride.

After all, having lived with Henry for so many years, Nancy understood his character very well.

Her attitude became instantly firmer, "Henry, I told you to go to the hospital with me, did you hear!?"

Henry sniffled and stubbornly shook his head, "Sis, I don't want to trouble you."

"What trouble?"

Nancy, frustrated and disappointed, slapped him on the head, "Henry, you are my brother, the only family I have in this world! Now that you've been bullied, do you expect me to just swallow it? Henry, let me tell you, I can't do that!"

"Brother..."

Henry dared not meet Nancy's eyes, turning his head away, his tears nearly uncontrollable, "The Lesser family is powerful; I'll just consider it bad luck, like being bitten by a dog."

"Bullshit!"

Nancy couldn't help but curse, "Even if you're bitten by a dog, you still need to go to the hospital for a rabies vaccine, right? After getting the vaccine, shouldn't you also ask the dog's owner to reimburse you? Henry, I don't want to argue with you anymore. Get up right now, don't lie there like a dead dog!"

Henry still wanted to say something, but Charlie went straight up to him, grabbed Henry's arm, and forcefully pulled him up from the ground.

He wasn't as gentle as Nancy; he didn't show any sympathy, almost dragging Henry out the door like dragging a little chick.

Seeing it was him, Henry's whole body resisted, "Charlie, let me go!"

"Shut up!"

Charlie turned back, glaring fiercely at him, "Since you're Nan's brother, then you're my, Charlie's, person. No matter what you think of me, it's not okay for others to bully you! What is the Lesser family? If they don't satisfy me today, then I, Charlie, will take down the entire Lesser family to avenge you!"
