Chapter 532: Nan Is Not That Kind of Person

Andrew was shocked for a moment, but he quickly shook his head firmly.

"It's impossible! Nan is not that kind of person..."

"Heh..."

Quentin raised his hand to interrupt Andrew's words, "Big brother, it's hard to know a person's true nature. You've lost your memory and don't remember the past, so you don't really know what kind of person you've raised! Nancy is cunning, otherwise, how could Vivian have suffered so much at her hands?"

Vivian, hearing this, felt like her uncle was a living Buddha reincarnated. Since being eliminated from the training camp, she returned to the Lesser family and has been extremely cautious, afraid of upsetting the Lesser family and being kicked out.

Now, Quentin's words were her last lifeline.

But having suffered so much, Vivian had learned to be smart and did not show too much excitement, instead nodding thoughtfully.

"Nancy is indeed a bit clever, but... orchestrating such a big scheme today, she couldn't possibly pull it off by herself, right?"

"Of course."

Quentin glanced at her and continued, "But, don't forget, there's Charlie by Nancy's side. With Charlie's hatred for our Lesser family, he would probably be very willing to help Nancy against us."

"It can't be!"

Andrew still didn't believe it, his hands on his legs suddenly clenched, "I know Nan, if it weren't for someone going too far, she wouldn't attack anyone proactively. There must be some misunderstanding!"

"What kind of misunderstanding could there be?"

Quentin looked at Andrew coldly, his narrow eyes slightly squinting into a sinister curve.

"Big brother, Taylor is your biological niece, while Nancy is just your adopted daughter, at most now your apprentice. Are you going to trust a poisonous snake that could bite you at any time over your own niece?"

Taylor immediately started sobbing quietly, covering her mouth.

Her pitiful appearance was a far cry from her arrogant demeanor earlier in the day.

Now, she looked utterly weak and helpless, not just to Andrew, but even the old lady and the old man felt their hearts soften.

"There, there, Taylor, don't cry."

"Wuu wuu wuu... Grandma..."

Taylor, while wiping her tears and sobbing, said, "Wuu wuu wuu... It's all my fault for being too naive, not being cautious enough, and falling into Nancy's trap, dragging the family into this public scandal. It's all my fault... Wuu wuu wuu... Grandma, Taylor knows she was wrong."

"What did you do wrong?"

Quentin turned around, his palm gently stroking Taylor's hair, "Others deliberately targeted you; you couldn't have avoided it. Stop crying, dad will stand up for you."

Taylor sniffled pitifully, then leaned her head on Quentin's shoulder, the corners of her mouth curling into a barely noticeable smug smile.

Andrew sighed. He couldn't believe, no matter what, that Nancy would do such a thing.

Although he felt that the old man and the old lady's attitudes had softened, seemingly persuaded by Quentin, he still firmly stood by Nancy's side.

"Dad, mom, brother, this matter is not as complicated as it seems. It's just a small issue. If Taylor apologizes to Henry, I believe Henry and Nan won't make things difficult for us..."
