Chapter 563: Why Do I Feel Like You're Always Making Things Worse?

The speaker was Nancy Swinton. She walked over to Jilian and Damian, patted their shoulders, then turned to look at Dalia.

"I've just discussed with Mr. Smith. The houses here are 80,000 per square meter, and these two brothers of mine can choose as they please!"

"Eight... eighty thousand?"

Dalia's jaw almost hit the floor!

Were there houses for eighty thousand per square meter in the Liverton city area?

But since Mr. Smith was standing right there and Nancy dared to say this, it must have been arranged with Mr. Smith.

What was this woman's background?

Could she be Mr. Smith's illegitimate daughter from outside?

Otherwise, why would he sell the houses to her so cheaply?

However, even at eighty thousand per square meter, she didn't believe Damian and Jilian could afford it!

Nancy observed the changing expressions on her face and knew she was still looking down on Damian and Jilian.

"Damian, Jilian."

Hearing Nancy call them, the two stepped forward, "Sister."

Nancy nodded, "It's much cheaper to buy a house in full payment. What do you think?"

Eighty thousand per square meter, they could now afford a house within one hundred square meters!

They immediately nodded, "Then we'll pay in full. This price is too good to pass up!"

"Full payment?"

Dalia's eyes almost popped out!

These two guys, who looked utterly poor, were actually going to buy a house in full?

Even at eighty thousand per square meter, that's at least several million in full payment!

However, Mr. Smith had run out of patience and coldly commanded, "Dalia, I asked you to sell houses for me, not to offend my customers! You can pack your things and leave now."

After that, he turned to the other sales ladies, "Sarah, come here and show them the houses."

The called Sarah hurried over and, with a face almost splitting with smiles, said, "Young sirs, please follow me."

Damian and Jilian were already immersed in the joy of buying a house. They didn't care much about being looked down upon by Dalia before and were now happily following Sarah to view the houses.

After they left, Henry Swinton turned to face Micheal, "Young Master Micheal, thanks for just now."

Micheal waved his hand nonchalantly, "Young man, when you're out and about, there are plenty of people who judge others superficially. You shouldn't take it to heart."

"Hehe..."

Henry chuckled, then glanced meaningfully at Dalia, who was leaving sullenly, "But earlier, it seemed like you had a special relationship with her. Why would you help me?"

"Ah?"

Micheal was momentarily stunned, then burst into hearty laughter, "Hahaha... It was just an act! These women struggle in the big city too; I'm just nicer to them. But that doesn't mean I'm blinded by beauty and can't distinguish right from wrong."

As soon as he finished speaking, he turned to Nancy and raised his hand in a friendly greeting, "Mrs. Firth, what a coincidence."

Nancy was taken aback, unable to recall where she had met this man.

Linda recognized him immediately and whispered to Nancy, "Nan, he's the man from the piano exchange the other day, the one who said he's your fan!"

With an understanding "oh," Nancy looked at Micheal again and rolled her eyes, "Mr. Thompson, why do I feel like every time you show up, you're always making things worse?"
