Nancy smiled and patted his hand, "Husband, I know, it's just a surgery, not a life-or-death separation. Don't worry, you are my strongest support!"
Charlie smiled and let go of Nancy's hand, "Go for it!"
Henry didn't have much to say. He just nodded at Nancy. After so many years of sibling affection, he believed in Nancy's strength more than anyone else.
Nancy tilted her head at Dr. Bell, "Everything's ready, let's go to the operating room."
"Okay, no problem."
Dr. Bell trotted after Nancy, "I'll be your assistant. Just tell me whatever you need, haha... I can't believe I get to watch Nancy perform surgery. Just this alone is enough for me to brag about for a year!"
Old Master Lesser was wheeled into the operating room, and Nancy and Dr. Bell also entered.
The Lesser family and Charlie, Henry stood outside, patiently waiting.
Old Mrs. Lesser and Eva were praying with their hands clasped together from time to time. They truly hoped the surgery would be successful.
Quentin didn't leave the hospital. He just went downstairs and sat in his car, flipping his lighter open with a "click" and then closing it with another "click."
He idly repeated this action, his head lifted, eyes fixed on the hospital floors above...
Time ticked by, and the light in the operating room remained on, with no one knowing the situation inside.
As more time passed, everyone became increasingly anxious. Finally, the elderly lady couldn't hold back her worry and asked Eva standing beside her.
"Eva, do you think your dad can make it through this time?"
"He definitely can!"
Andrew's voice came from behind them. Both women turned to look at him.
Andrew showed a comforting smile, "Nan's Master is so capable, the students he trained must be exceptional too. Besides, think about it, Nan learns everything quickly and masters it in a short time. With her abilities, this surgery is nothing to her."
Henry turned to look at him, "You have a lot of confidence in my sister."
Andrew proudly lifted his chin, "Of course, after all, I raised Nan, and that includes you, Henry. I have a lot of trust in you too!"
Henry's heart softened, feeling a warm surge in his heart.
Although he knew Andrew had lost his memory, the feeling he had for Andrew returned.
"Uncle..."
He called out, moved, and chuckled, "I'm really not used to calling you uncle. I still prefer calling you Andrew."
"Hehe..."
Andrew smiled and waved his hand, "No worries, I'm more used to you calling me Andrew..."
He paused for a moment, "Speaking of which, you and Nan could change your surnames too, after all, I..."
"No need."
Henry nonchalantly waved his hand, "My sister and I have had these names for many years now, and we're used to them. No matter who you are, we are Swinton."
Suddenly, Charlie's body moved, he quickly walked to the entrance of the operating room. His action immediately attracted everyone's attention, and they all looked towards the door, only to be surprised to find that the light in the operating room was off!!!
Was the surgery completed?!
