Chapter 610: It Was Luck That Day!

Nancy's face turned pale with fear, and even her fingers trembled uncontrollably.

"So, anyone Quentin hates seems to suffer misfortune through car accidents. If he's really behind all this, then... he's truly terrifying."

Even Henry, usually so bold, trembled at this news.

"Sis! If Quentin were using legitimate means against you, that'd be one thing, but these methods are unpredictable! Maybe... we should leave!"

Nancy realized her demeanor might be alarming Henry. She smiled, trying to appear more relaxed, "Henry, it's not as dire as that. A car accident can be avoided, right? Didn't we escape just the other day?"

"That was luck!"

Henry's face tensed with anxiety, "Sis, we can't always count on being that lucky. Really, listen to me, let's go. We can leave Liverton and go anywhere!"

"Henry."

Charlie shook his head, "It's useless. My father was in City Nustin when he died in that car accident. If Quentin truly harbors hatred for someone, with his vengeful nature, no matter where that person is, they can't escape his retribution!"

Henry's eyes suddenly reddened, a bloodthirsty gleam shining within, his muscles tensing at the thought of Nancy meeting a grim fate. "Then I'll kill him!"

"Henry, no!"

Nancy stood up and walked over to calm his restless hands. She saw the angry veins bulging on his arms, a frightening sight.

"Henry..."

Knowing he was someone who acted on his words, Nancy softened her voice to soothe him, "Quentin isn't as scary as you think. We just need to be more vigilant. And we can't stoop to their level of violence in response, right?"

"What do we do, then!?"

Henry's voice surged with emotion, his neck veins bulging, "I can't just watch him harm you. I can't, sis. Without you, what would I do? You're the only family I have in this world!"

Nancy took a deep breath, gently stroking Henry's hair, her gentleness gradually calming him.

"There are many ways to deal with bad people. If we find evidence or defeat Quentin so he can't rise again, he won't pose a threat anymore."

To avoid misunderstanding, she clarified, "By 'defeat,' I don't mean with fists. I mean stripping him of everything. When he has no power, no status, no money, how can he continue his wrongdoings?"

Charlie also chimed in, "Henry, Quentin may take extreme actions, but you can't be like him. Staying calm and finding solutions is the right approach."

"Okay."

Henry seemed truly comforted. He looked at Nancy and then Charlie, his voice stabilizing, "Sis, brother-in-law, I'll follow your lead. Whatever you say, I'll do."

"Good."

Charlie patted Nancy's hand, pulling her back to sit down, then added, "We don't know for sure if Quentin is behind all this, but starting now, we really need to be cautious. And, we need to find evidence of Quentin hiring someone for murder!"
