Chapter 627: As if You're Afraid No One Knows You're a Bastard!

Today, with Lily and Andrew getting married, the most awkward person here wasn't Vivian, but Nancy. She, the daughter Andrew had raised, turned out not to be their child. Her parents' identities were unknown. With one word, "bastard," Vivian instantly put Nancy in the spotlight!

The girls from the Lesser family's collateral branches looked at Nancy with changed expressions. They weren't stupid; with Vivian and Nancy fighting, they naturally wouldn't say much and just watched the drama unfold.

Nancy's face tightened, and even her amber eyes darkened.

Vivian saw her silence and knew she had hit a sore spot, so she mocked her even more, "Nancy, aren't you usually sharp-tongued? Why aren't you talking now? If I were you, I wouldn't be running around the Lesser family, desperately afraid that no one knows you're a bastard!"

"Oh my, why do I hear a dog barking?"

Behind them, Micheal's playful voice sounded, "Hey, Henry, did you hear that?"

Henry's gaze fell on Vivian's face, and he nodded seriously, "I heard it. This dog not only barks but also looks like it's going to bite."

"A biting dog!?"

Micheal was astonished, "Then we should quickly kill it and have dog meat for lunch!"

Vivian's face turned red with anger. When she turned and saw that it was Henry, another orphan adopted by Andrew like Nancy, she was taken aback. She had seen Micheal once, but they weren't familiar.

However, this was the Lesser family, her territory. How could she show any fear?

She put her hands on her hips and glared angrily, "Who are you calling a dog? Let me tell you, this place is..."

Before she could finish, Micheal, while picking his ear, smiled at her, "Of course, whoever responds is the dog!"

With that, he and Henry walked over, standing in front of Nancy, protectively shielding her.

"Vivian, what are you so proud of? A woman like your mother, if it were ancient times, would be drowned in a pig cage. And you, as her daughter, would be thrown into a brothel to be played with for life. So, are you proud of having such a mother!?"

"Pfft..."

"Hahaha..."

The girls from the Lesser family's collateral branches couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Who is this guy? His mouth is so sharp!"

"Hahaha... He's not wrong. Nancy may not know who her parents are, but she's clean and innocent. Vivian has parents, but her mother... hahaha, shouldn't she be drowned in a pig cage?"

"Yeah, if I had such a mother, I'd hide and not show my face. Unlike her, strutting around arrogantly. It's so embarrassing!"

"Maybe she inherited her mother's traits, dumping Alexander Caine because he's a bastard of the Caine family and can't climb up in the future. She's probably planning to marry someone rich and powerful now."

"Shut up!"

Vivian couldn't take it anymore, her face turning blue and red. She turned and shouted at the girls.

The girls, seeing her genuinely angry, pursed their lips and fell silent, but their eyes clearly continued to enjoy the spectacle.

After shouting at them, Vivian turned to Micheal, trembling with anger, "Who are you? Where did this little bastard come from, daring to run wild in my Lesser family!"
