Chapter 629: Lily's Least Favorite Person

Vivian had just called Nancy disgraceful, and now Micheal was calling Vivian disgraceful, effectively slapping Vivian in the face on Nancy's behalf.

Nancy didn't push his hand away, instead giving Sarah a deep look before walking alongside Micheal and Henry.

Vivian watched Micheal and Nancy holding hands, her eyes burning with jealousy. Why was Nancy's life so blessed? All the men Nancy knew had such high status, and they all seemed to orbit around her. Why did Vivian have no one like that around her?

After a few steps, Nancy withdrew her hand from Micheal's grasp and nodded in thanks, "Young Master Micheal, thank you for what you just did."

"Oh, no need. I can't stand Vivian's type..."

As he spoke, he suddenly paused and looked at Nancy with a pleading expression, "But if you really want to thank me, take me to see Lily."

"See Lily?"

Nancy pressed her lips together firmly and shook her head, "I'm afraid that's not possible. Lily is probably still in the lounge. If I go over there, she won't see me."

Henry nodded, "Lily doesn't like our sister the most. If she goes over, she'll definitely be turned away."

Micheal's face fell in disappointment, "Then what should I do? I must see her today."

"How about this..."

Nancy, curious about why Micheal wanted to see Lily so badly, suggested, "She will definitely come out with my father later to meet us. You can stand next to me then and ask her whatever you want. That should work."

"Alright..."

Micheal gave Nancy a long look and shrugged, "Let's give it a try."

Since arriving, Charlie had been dragged around by Andrew to greet the guests.

Nancy saw them sitting on lounge chairs, signaled to Henry, and then walked over with Micheal.

"Dad, husband, what are you talking about?"

Andrew raised his hand, signaling Nancy to sit down. When he saw Micheal beside her, he was slightly surprised and asked curiously, "Nan, who is this?"

"Oh, him..."

Nancy smiled and sat Micheal down in the rattan chair opposite Andrew, introducing him with a smile, "This is my friend, Micheal."

Andrew showed no change in his expression, stood up, and extended his hand to Micheal, "Since you're Nan's friend, welcome to my wedding."

Micheal shook his hand politely and then sat opposite Andrew.

Micheal's gaze stayed fixed on Andrew's face, but Andrew remained calm, continuing his conversation with Charlie.

After a while, Henry approached, holding a plate with two small cakes. He smiled at Andrew, "Old Sheng, I brought two pieces of cake for you and sister. Since it's your wedding day, you pick first."

Andrew looked at the plate Henry held. Sure enough, there were two small cakes.

Just as he raised his hand, Henry's voice rang out again, "Old Sheng, the one on the left is peanut-flavored, and the one on the right is matcha-flavored."

As soon as he said this, Nancy's gaze fixed on Andrew's raised hand.

Andrew didn't like peanut flavor, but she was allergic to peanuts. Her allergy wasn't just a simple rash; it caused severe diarrhea that could last for several days, and medication had little effect...
