"Oh, shut up with your 'be quiet' nonsense!"
Linda sat down by the bed, lifted her hand, and pinched Nancy's chin, forcing Nancy to lift her face.
"I finally got a chance to take a break. You know how strict and tough my teacher is. If Mr. Firth hadn't called my teacher to ask for leave for me, I'd still be stuck there! Come on..."
After lifting Nancy's face, she pinched Nancy's cheeks again, "Talk to me, my mouth has been lonely for so long. Now that I'm finally free, I have to make up for all the words I haven't said in the past two months today!"
No one knew better than Nancy how talkative Linda could be.
After being locked up for two months, finally getting out, once Linda's chatterbox opened, it probably wouldn't stop for three days and nights.
Nancy looked at her with a pained expression, "Linda, I'm in a bad mood and don't want to talk. Why don't you go find someone else?"
"Who should I find?"
Linda pouted in frustration and snorted angrily, "Hmph! In Liverton, you're my only friend. If you don't keep me company, I bet you'll get depressed before I do. Nan, you wouldn't want to see such a cute, lively, and lovable little cutie like me get autism, would you?"
Henry, sitting on the sofa, couldn't help but twitch his eyes.
He turned to look at Charlie, who had a big smile on his face, and couldn't help but give a thumbs up in admiration!
The reinforcement his brother-in-law found was indeed formidable!
They had said so many things to Nancy, but not only did she not respond, she even wrapped herself up.
Linda came in, didn't give Nancy a chance to wrap herself up, and even made her talk and beg for mercy!
Amazing!!!
Sure enough, when Nancy saw Linda's cute doll-like face scrunched up into a bun, her heart softened, and she sighed lightly, "Alright, I'll talk to you."
"Hahaha..."
Linda happily threw her arms around Nancy, "I knew it, Nan, you're the best. You would never let me get autism!"
After letting go of Nancy, Linda's mouth started rattling off.
"Nan, let me tell you, my teacher is too much. I suspect he's now bored to death, staring at only me every day. It's piano practice, piano practice every day. If he takes me out, it's either to participate in a competition or to exchange with others. It feels like my world has nothing but the piano."
Nancy laughed softly, "Patrick Hastings wants the best for you. He wants you to become an international pianist."
Linda nodded vigorously, "I understand that, but there should be a limit to devil training! You have no idea, every morning at six, he makes me get up for a morning run, then do morning exercises, eat breakfast, and then it's piano practice! Piano practice ends at ten every night. You think that's the end?"
Nancy blinked curiously, "Isn't it?"
"Hmph! Not at all!"
Linda clenched her little fists in frustration, baring her teeth in a cute, fierce way, "After piano practice ends at ten, it's another night run, running from the practice room to where we live. My God, an hour and a half! Nan, you have no idea, my poor little feet are covered in blisters, boo hoo, I'm so miserable... ah... ah..."
