Chapter 647: Wouldn't That Hurt Me to Death!?

Seeing Nancy frown, Michael thought she was still very resistant, so he started winking and making exaggerated expressions at her.

"Nancy, think about it, seventy or eighty cousins all doting on you alone. Whatever you want, you get. Anyone who dares to bully you would be dealt with by just a slap from each of us cousins, and that person's head would fly off! How thrilling and satisfying would that be!?"

"Cough, cough..."

Nancy coughed awkwardly and smiled apologetically, "Young Master Michael, what you said doesn't really interest me. Right now, I just want to know the truth about my mother's death. If my father is indeed from The Thompson family, then he... should know something..."

"Of course."

Michael nodded, "Because there are so many uncles in the family, my grandfather even held a family meeting to ask if anyone had ever been to Henriana or had any romantic encounters there. But the answer was disappointing; none of them had ever been to Henriana in their younger years. So... the matter hit a dead end, otherwise, I wouldn't have gone to City Nustin to find Lily."

Charlie and Nancy exchanged a look, confirming that most of their previous suspicions were correct, except for some unresolved questions about Andrew.

However, that didn't seem as important anymore.

Since Michael was willing to share this information with Nancy, it meant there was a significant chance that Nancy had a connection with The Thompson family. Now, they just needed to find Nancy's biological father, and everything would be resolved.

After a moment of silent communication, Nancy turned back to Michael, "Young Master Michael, let me analyze this. Now that you and we have the same goal—to find out my background—it's clear that Lily won't tell us. She won't cooperate."

Michael sighed dejectedly, "Yes, after today's commotion, the Lesser family will surely blacklist me. I won't have a chance to see Lily again."

Nancy smiled and nodded, "In that case, let's cooperate. How can I help you confirm within The Thompson family whether my biological father is from your family?"

"Isn't that simple?"

Michael laughed heartily, "Just give me some of your hair. I'll have it sent back for a paternity test with the uncles in the family."

Nancy's amber eyes widened suddenly, "You have so many family members, wouldn't that make me bald!?"

"Cough, cough... cough..."

Michael choked violently, almost dying from Nancy's words!

After finally calming down, he covered his mouth and laughed while waving at Nancy, "Not at all, not at all. Just a few hairs for the uncles' generation's paternity test will suffice. My cousins couldn't possibly have a daughter your age!"

"That's true."

Nancy pouted and nodded, "If it's only the uncles' generation..."

She looked at Michael with frustration again, "That's still over thirty people! Are you going to pull out over thirty hairs? That would hurt me to death!"

"Poof..."

Michael burst out laughing again. It wasn't just Nancy who was frustrated; even he was annoyed. "No need! No need! To be safe, pulling out a dozen hairs should be enough. But... for extra security, if you want to pull out more, I wouldn't refuse!"
