Before long, Henry and Linda returned after choosing their courtyard.
As soon as Linda saw Nancy, she excitedly shouted, "Nan, I picked a really big courtyard, it's beautiful, and it has the roses I like. The best part is, hahaha... it's right next to Henry's!"
Nancy couldn't help but laugh, "Are you trying to get close to him?"
Linda proudly raised her chin, "That's right. Once I've made up my mind, I'm going to pursue Henry no matter what!"
Nancy smiled at Henry, but she noticed that besides a hint of shyness, there was also a trace of complicated emotions on his face.
Knowing her brother well, Nancy could see what was on Henry's mind. They had lived together for so many years, and she knew Henry liked Linda but was also a bit self-conscious.
Charlie, noticing the subtle atmosphere, seriously changed the subject, "Henry, tomorrow your sister and I are going back to City Nustin."
"Going back to City Nustin?"
Henry stepped forward, surprised, "What are you going back for? Is there something important?"
"Yes."
Charlie nodded, "My uncle found Nan's biological mother's grave, so we need to go back as soon as possible."
Without thinking, Henry said, "Then I'll go back with you!"
Linda's eyes lit up, and she happily jumped up, "I want to go with you too!"
Nancy pulled Linda aside and whispered in her ear, "Linda, you like Henry, but don't chase him too aggressively. What if you scare him away?"
"I won't."
Linda smiled confidently, "I can feel that he likes me too. Oh, Nan, I've never been to City Nustin. Please take me with you! I promise I'll be good, okay?"
She didn't lower her voice, so Charlie and Henry heard her clearly.
Nancy initially wanted to give her some face, but Linda didn't mind at all, even saying it out loud, making Charlie laugh.
Henry, on the other hand, blushed, glanced at Linda awkwardly, and then looked down without saying anything.
"Alright, Nan."
Charlie glared at Linda, "Do you think she's entirely eager to come with us for fun?"
Nancy blinked in confusion, "Isn't she?"
"Her!?"
Charlie chuckled and shook his head, "She just wants to avoid going back to her rigorous training. She hopes to use my connection to get a few more days off!"
"Oh…"
That was something Nancy hadn't thought of!
Linda sulked and pouted at Charlie, "Mr. Firth, see through but don't say through!"
"Haha…"
Nancy laughed happily, "Alright, seeing how pitiful you are, I'll agree, but you promised to be good, right?"
"Yes, yes!"
Linda happily hugged Nancy and kissed her cheeks repeatedly, "I knew Nan was the best!"
The next day, the four of them headed to the airport.
Charlie specifically brought Tom Adams along and boarded the private jet to City Nustin.
Having a private jet was convenient, allowing them to leave whenever they wanted. They boarded at eight in the morning and arrived in City Nustin by nine.
Outside the City Nustin airport, a row of black Rolls-Royces was lined up. As Charlie and the others emerged, James Firth, the second in the Firth Family, personally came to greet them. "Charlie, you're finally back!"
