Chapter 661: You're So Bad! I Hate You!

The aunts and uncles gathered around Nancy, showing their affection and joy.

"Yes, Nan, you're too thin. You need to gain more weight."

"Father is right. You need to eat all the supplements we have at home. If Maid Heather had thought of this, you wouldn't be so thin!"

"Donna, did you finish preparing the bird's nest? Bring a bowl for Nan quickly."

"Bird's nest won't do. You need donkey-hide gelatin. It replenishes qi and blood, which is crucial for women having babies."

Hearing them arranging all this for her, Nancy quickly said, "I eat all these things at home, really, every day. Maid Heather isn't stingy, she buys them for me."

Her younger aunt still wasn't convinced, "Even with all that, you haven't gained any weight! Let's do this: later, I'll take you to see an old Chinese medicine doctor to adjust your digestion. Maybe you're not absorbing nutrients well."

Nancy forced a smile, "Auntie, I'm a doctor myself. My health is really fine. I just have a small frame and don't gain weight easily, really, I'm not lying..."

"Nan, don't worry about the trouble."

The second aunt shoved a piece of donkey-hide gelatin cake into Nancy's mouth. "Eat this quickly. It has added astragalus, a perfect supplement for qi and blood!"

Linda entered and saw Nancy surrounded by aunts and uncles, all urging her to nourish her body.

She was envious, "Henry, look how happy your sister is."

Henry nodded, his doubts about Charlie and the Firth Family completely dispelled. It was clear that the aunts and uncles genuinely cared about Nancy.

Old Master Firth finally rescued Nancy, "Alright, enough about that for now. Let's discuss the matter of Nan's mother's grave."

The aunts and uncles finally let Nancy go and found seats.

Nancy hadn't even finished chewing the gelatin cake. She struggled to swallow the unpleasant-tasting piece.

"Grandpa, this is my brother Henry, and this is my good friend Linda. They came with me to City Nustin."

Old Master Firth smiled kindly at Henry and Linda, "Welcome to the Firth Family. Since you're Nan's brother and her good friend, make yourselves at home. Please, sit down."

Linda playfully pulled Henry's hand and found an inconspicuous spot to sit. She then smiled happily, "I really like this family! Henry, I definitely want to marry you, so I can be part of this family too!"

Henry turned his head and looked at her expressionlessly, "Linda, I'm starting to suspect that you say you like me, but maybe you actually like my sister more? Is that why you want to be with me, so you can always be with my sister?"

Linda quickly covered her mouth and shook her head vigorously, "Henry, don't misunderstand. That's not how I feel! I really like you! Really, truly, more than gold!"

Her big eyes blinked adorably, making Henry's heart soften. He couldn't help but smile.

"I was just teasing you!"

Linda playfully punched his shoulder with her small fist, "Ah, you're so bad! I hate you!"

Meanwhile, Old Master Firth had started speaking, "Nan, your mother's grave is in The Northern Cemetery. It wasn't too difficult to find, but..."
