Chapter 663: Has He Been Visiting Your Mother?

Henry suddenly spoke up, "Sister, is it possible that your biological father has always been in City Nustin? And he's the one who's been visiting your mother?"

"Oh, are you stupid or what!"

Linda angrily slapped his arm, "If Nan's biological father was really in City Nustin, why hasn't he come to see Nan? If he knew about Nan but let another man adopt her, honestly, that guy is a jerk! Such a father isn't worth having!"

Her anger made her blurt out curses.

Nancy's mood sank further, "Forget it, let's not discuss this anymore. We don't have any clues, and blindly speculating is pointless. Let's just go see my mother's grave first!"

"Alright."

James clapped his hands with a smile, "Everything's ready. After lunch, we'll accompany you to visit your mother!"

City Nustin has a picturesque mountain called North Mountain, known locally as Spirit Mountain. It's not because it's a cemetery, but because the mountain is tall, shrouded in mist year-round, and covered with trees. The graves there are incredibly valuable, and only wealthy families can afford a plot there.

The east side of North Mountain is a tourist attraction, while the north side is the cemetery, so there are always numerous visitors climbing the mountain.

Cars can drive up to the halfway point, where there's a parking lot. From there, the rest must be done on foot.

Nancy and the Firth Family got out of the car, looking up at the remaining kilometer to the peak, taking deep breaths.

"Nan."

Linda looked at the clouds around the peak and couldn't help but marvel, "Honestly, whoever has been visiting your mother must have had deep feelings for her. Climbing such a high mountain regularly is no easy task."

Charlie nodded, "It takes a lot of determination."

Nancy didn't say much. She just waved to everyone, "Let's go."

Tom carried a bag and had a basket on his back filled with offerings and flowers. He looked up at the peak, his eyes twitching.

If he died, he definitely wouldn't want to be buried in such a place. It would be too much trouble for his descendants!

The group climbed the steps at a steady pace, conserving their energy.

Even Linda, usually talkative, kept her mouth shut. She didn't want to waste her energy talking.

Halfway up, not just Old Master Firth, but even Charlie's aunts and uncles were out of breath.

"Oh, I can't go on."

The second aunt waved to Nancy, "Nan, auntie's not in good shape. These steps are too high. I need to rest."

The younger aunt also sat down, "I need a break too. My legs are sore."

Old Master Firth leaned on his cane, wanting to scold them but ended up gasping for breath, sounding like a bellows.

Nancy looked at them and waved her hand with a smile, "It's... it's fine, auntie. If you're tired, rest. Those with energy can keep going. We all know where the grave is, so we'll meet there."

James Firth nodded, "Nan is right. We can't all stop in one place and block the path. Mark, you stay with Dad and the others and make sure they get up safely."
