Chapter 664: Are You Lacking Siblings?

Mark, the youngest among the brothers and considering himself the fittest, shook his head, worried about James Firth. "Second Brother, you stay. I'll accompany them up."

"Mark, I've been to the grave before, so I'll take Nan and the others up this time. You stay here!"

Seeing Mark Firth still wanting to argue, James turned and started up the steps. "It's decided!"

Naturally, Linda and Henry wanted to stay with Nancy. They knew she was eager to visit her mother's grave, so they continued up with her without stopping.

Linda put her hands on her hips, looking at James Firth walking ahead, and smiled enviously, "Mr. Firth, your family is so harmonious. It's truly enviable, with everyone being so close and supportive!"

Charlie smiled but said nothing as James Firth spoke first, "Yes, our Firth Family's motto is 'Harmony brings prosperity.' No one can commit acts of betrayal against the family. Family means supporting, helping, and understanding each other."

Charlie nodded, "Not just in our grandfather's generation but also in our uncles' and our generation. Anyone who harms a family member is expelled from the Firth Family."

Linda, filled with admiration and sentiment, tugged at Nancy's sleeve.

Seeing Nancy turn her head, Linda smiled even more brightly, "Nan, do you need a sister-in-law? How about me?"

Nancy gave Henry a meaningful look and teased, "You'll have to ask Henry about that."

"Ugh..."

Linda grumbled playfully, "I guess I'll have to win you guys over first so you can help me win him over!"

"Hahaha..."

Nancy waved her hand, "Linda, stop making me laugh. We still have a long way to go."

Linda stuck out her tongue and said no more. She grabbed Henry's arm and continued the difficult climb.

Finally, they reached the cemetery. James Firth pointed to the higher graves and told Nancy, "Nan, your mother's grave is higher up. Did you know? The higher the grave, the more expensive it is. Even twenty years ago, your mother's grave would have cost over fifty thousand."

Fifty thousand!?

Nancy blinked in shock. Twenty years ago, fifty thousand could buy a large house in City Nustin outright!

Who on earth buried her mother here?

Someone very wealthy!

Curious, she asked, "Can you get a loan for a grave?"

James Firth looked at her with amusement, "What do you think?"

Nancy rubbed her nose and chuckled awkwardly, "Probably... not?"

"Of course not!"

James Firth shook his head with a laugh, "Twenty years ago, loans weren't as common as they are now!"

"Alright."

Nancy, exhausted, quickened her pace. "Let's go, we're almost there. Let's hurry."

Charlie and the others also quickened their pace to keep up with Nancy.

The higher they went, the stronger the wind and the fresher the air. The cool breeze blew their clothes. If they were wearing robes, they would look like celestial beings.

"Huh?"

James Firth suddenly cried out, looking at a section of the cemetery a few steps above. "Damn, who is that? Why are they digging up Nan's mother's grave!?"
