Chapter 673: Accidentally Bumped into My Heart...

Nancy shrugged helplessly, “The other party used a jammer, and the method was quite unique. It's possible the emails were sent while on the move, making it impossible to lock down the location.”

Charlie withdrew his gaze, lightly licking his lips, “Nan, a few years ago, they didn’t use any special methods, and the person was in City Nustin, which proves they were in City Nustin during that period. Now they’re using jammers because they know your skills and don’t want you to find out who they are…”

“Yeah, that’s what I think too.”

Nancy closed her laptop, “That person might have been watching me all along.”

Charlie’s lips curled into a teasing smile, “Ha… could it be Andrew?”

“It’s not him!”

Nancy replied with certainty, “During the three years my dad was in a vegetative state, that person sent Mr. Strong an email. Even though their contact was sparse, mostly just Mr. Strong sending grave cleaning photos, during those three years, the person did send an email reminding Mr. Strong to clean the grave for Qingming.”

Because of this piece of information from Mr. Strong, Nancy felt much better.

She had completely ruled out Andrew’s suspicion. She even believed Andrew’s amnesia was genuine.

Regardless of Andrew’s motives for marrying Lily, his feelings for her were sincere. She didn’t believe Andrew would deceive her!

Seeing her so resolute, Charlie didn’t say anything more. They all returned to the Firth Family’s old residence.

Old Master Firth eagerly asked Nancy what she had found. Nancy relayed her findings to them.

After listening, James pondered and asked curiously, “Nan, could that person be your biological father?”

Nancy pressed her lips together without speaking. If that were the case, she would resent him deeply. He had been in City Nustin, close to her, yet had never appeared before her.

Charlie sighed, “It’s been a long day. Let Nan get some rest.”

The Firth Family members didn’t ask further and urged Nancy to rest in her room.

Nancy, holding the notebook, felt heavy-hearted. The more she investigated her mother’s affairs, the colder her heart grew.

Back in her room, she sat on the sofa and opened the notebook.

The person had guarded her mother’s grave for so many years. Opening the grave now wasn’t about taking her mother’s ashes but likely retrieving the notebook.

Nancy instinctively felt that this notebook contained crucial information!

Opening the first page, she saw her mother’s delicate handwriting. The content was simple, about her mother’s first job after graduating from university.

“Hmm?”

Nancy’s eyes widened in surprise, “Mom worked at an art school? Teaching the guzheng!?”

She had never imagined her mother was a music teacher!

Suddenly, a thought flashed through her mind, and she quickly turned to the second page.

“Met many new friends today. I thought most people teaching music would be girls, but surprisingly, there are more boys at the school, and they’re very talented!”

After reading the second page, Nancy eagerly turned to the next.

“Had no classes today, so I decided to explore the rooftop. Unexpectedly, I saw a boy playing the violin. He was so elegant, so graceful!”

She continued to the next page.

“It's been a month since I started working. The principal held a dinner today. Haha… I had a couple of drinks. In a daze, that figure playing the violin accidentally bumped into my heart…”
