At this moment, a young man walked in pushing a cart leisurely, and everyone's demeanor instantly changed when they saw him!
"Isn't this Micheal?"
"Oh my, is the boss himself participating in this project?"
"I wonder if there's some insider information?"
Nancy sighed and raised her hand to support her forehead. She asked Ashley to find someone to cut the stone, not to find Micheal!
Are there no other people inside this Linda?
Micheal glanced at the chattering crowd and pushed the cart next to the stone cutter.
"Why are you all making such a fuss? I'm just cutting a stone, look at how excited you all are."
If there's anyone uncomfortable inside, it must be Quentin!
"He was determined to win the Stone King today, but unexpectedly Micheal emerged in the end.
His face darkened, 'Micheal, as the young master of this Jade Pavilion, there's no need for you to compete for the Stone King with us.'
'What's wrong with being the young master?' Micheal raised an eyebrow disdainfully. 'Do you think, young master here can see through the rough stone and identify the materials inside?'
Quentin clenched his lips, 'Even if that's the case, as the young master, it's still inappropriate!'
His tone grew more menacing, as if he wanted to fight Micheal, and the intense anger even made the people nearby take a step back.
But Micheal didn't buy into it, with his hands in his pockets, he straightened his posture and looked at him, 'Since I don't have the ability to see inside, what's inappropriate about it? Does Mr. Lesser manage everything, even how much pocket money I can earn, apart from heaven and earth?'
With that remark, Quentin's face became even uglier, the idea of killing Micheal crossed his mind.
As if fearing he wouldn't be provoked, Micheal chuckled, 'Who said only Mr. Lesser can buy rough stones from those mines? Can't we go too?'
'Hey, I'm poor, I don't have Mr. Lesser's wealth to buy seven or eight pieces at once. I only buy one piece. If my one piece surpasses all of yours, Mr. Lesser might as well stop playing with stones in the future. Come to our Jade Pavilion to do odd jobs!'."
"Such arrogance, young man! Quentin has seen the world and experienced many ups and downs, but never has a junior dared to provoke him like this before. He pointed to his old pit bottom jade, 'This piece of mine has already sold for a sky-high price. Micheal, you dream if you think you can beat me.'
'Dreaming or not, you will find out when I open it,' Micheal smirked, kicking his cart over to the stone cutter, 'Lao Li, start cutting for me.'
The stone cutter was a member of the Thompson family and followed only the orders of the master of the house, regardless of what others said.
As soon as Micheal finished speaking, he bent down to pick up the raw stone.
Enraged, Quentin took a step forward, 'Micheal, are you really going to challenge me today?'
'Challenge you?' Micheal frowned, 'Who gave you the audacity to confidently say that? What I do is my own business, not yours! Even if your older brother Andrew came, I wouldn't give him face! Look at how arrogant you are, thinking you are somebody worth mentioning, bah!'"
Micheal originally disliked Quentin because of Nancy's actions, so he naturally wouldn't show him a good face. But since Quentin insisted on seeking attention here, he had no choice but to slap him in the face!
