Chapter 122 If You Really Want Children, Find Someone Else

"I can walk."

The man smirked and smiled at her, leaning closer to her ear. "You've been frightened and injured. Let me carry you."

His warm breath brushed against Freya's earlobe, making her heart beat erratically.

His tone, neither light nor heavy, was crystal clear to everyone, especially Lola, whose eyes turned red with jealousy.

If she had known Bradley was so handsome, she wouldn't have let Freya off easily. The key was that this man was gentler than Ethan, he could flirt and coax people, and he treated Freya so well.

How lucky this idiot was to have stumbled upon such a big advantage!

Lola regretted it so much that she was green with envy. Her jealousy surged to her head, so much so that she bit her lips until they bled.

Bradley carried Freya upstairs and placed her on the bed.

When he returned, he went straight to Mr. Austin and explained the whole situation, confessing that he had fully recovered.

Because Freya was in danger, he had suddenly stood up due to the stimulation. As for his restored appearance, he simply admitted it happened at the Royal Garden Mansion.

Mr. Austin didn't say much upon hearing this, only instructing him to return to work at the company in a few days and take over Arthur's position, reinstating his role as the CEO.

Once he returned to the company, he wouldn't be able to accompany her like this anymore, so Bradley's plan was to bring her by his side as his secretary.

He had discussed this with Mr. Austin, who had agreed.

Leaning in, Bradley whispered near Freya's ear, "I'll be busy in a couple of days. Since you're not stupid, how about coming to work at the Austin Group with me?"

Freya turned to look at him, her clear eyes meeting his handsome face, causing her heart to flutter. Feeling a bit flustered, she looked away and replied,

"No, I don't understand business matters. I have to manage the clinic myself. You don't need to worry about me being idle."

Upon hearing this, he grasped her chin firmly, his tone domineering. "Even if you do nothing, I can afford to support you. You just need to focus on being my wife at home."

"You want to keep me?" Freya blinked, her heart pounding wildly at his words.

"You're my wife; it's only natural for me to support you."

Looking into her eyes, he smirked, a smile dancing in his eyes. "Of course, we'll have our children in the future."

Here they go again.

How could they always end up talking about children?

Did this man really like children so much?

"Bradley, we only have a contractual relationship now. I won't help you have children. If you really want children, find someone else." Freya dared not look into his eyes; they seemed like a whirlpool, uncontrollably drawing her in.

However, the man forcefully held her chin, rendering her unable to move. Freya innocently lowered her gaze, leaving a shadow of her eyelashes on her lower eyelids.

His eyes darkened slightly as he lowered his head to comfort her. "No, I only want to have children with you."

With that, he leaned in, his dangerous aura enveloping her, and the next moment, he kissed her lips, domineeringly.

Freya was stunned!

Why did he kiss her so suddenly?

"Don't push me toward someone else in the future. Otherwise, for every word you say, I'll kiss you once."

His dangerous aura was arrogant and overbearing. Freya's eyes welled up with tears, and she pouted, glaring at him. "Bradley, you rascal."

"Be good, don't call me that."

"Bradley, Bradley, Brad…"

Freya deliberately called out his name repeatedly, but before she could finish the third time, she was kissed again.

This kiss was even more passionate than the last. Freya blushed and her heart raced, feeling almost suffocated.

This man was just unreasonable!

After releasing her, the man licked his lips in satisfaction, smiling devilishly. "I'll go to the study to handle some matters. You should rest for a while."

Freya ignored him, her lips red and swollen. They hurt so much she wanted to cry.

In the study.

Bradley stood in front of the large French window, looking down from above at the direction of the back mountain.

Frederick walked in and said, "Mr. Bradley, the surveillance video from the back mountain has been retrieved."

"Open it."

His gaze was cold, unable to understand where the problem lay. Clearly, the wolf howls were so intense, even with some skills, how could Freya avoid the pursuit of the wolves and emerge unscathed?

Frederick quickly transferred the video to the computer, and the footage showed the location of the back mountain.

Unknown to others, Bradley had set up an infrared surveillance network in the back mountain, so everything that happened there was monitored.

Bradley's sharp and cold eyes remained fixed on the computer screen without blinking.

Based on the video evidence, Freya entered the depths of the back mountain immediately after arrival, engaging in typical woodland activities.

However, Bradley observed her remarkable speed.

Although he had seen her skills before, he was still shocked when he saw her again.

Upon closer examination, it's not surprising that Freya has developed significant speed. Growing up in the countryside, she regularly engaged in tasks like cutting grass and chopping wood on the mountainside, which naturally honed her agility over time.

"Sir, look at this!" At this moment, Frederick pointed at the screen in surprise.

The sound of wolf howls filled the air as a majestic white wolf led a pack of wolves toward Freya.

Wolves were inherently predatory animals, but the white wolf did not attack Freya. Instead, it obediently crouched down in front of her!

Seeing this, Bradley's pupils darkened even more.

This girl actually befriended those wolves!

Bradley stared fixedly at the screen, wanting to continue watching, but at this moment, a knock sounded from outside.

"Sir, representatives from the Lawson family have arrived. Mr. Austin requests your presence downstairs!"

"Alright, I got it."

The man turned off the video, stood up from the leather chair, and strode out of the study, completely missing the scene where Freya took out the wolf fangs.

In the living room.

Bruce Lawson and Sophie Lawson sat meekly on the side. They had just been informed by the Austin family that Lola had caused trouble and were asked to come and take her back. Although they didn't know what had happened exactly, a glance from Mr. Austin indicated that the situation was serious.

Bruce smiled and said, "Mr. Austin, I wonder what Lola has done wrong?"

Mr. Austin frowned and angrily said, "You have the nerve to ask me what she's done wrong? Your daughter is simply insane! She even plotted against her own sister. Let me tell you, Bruce, if you don't know how to discipline your daughter, I'll step in and handle it for you!"

The butler brought a computer and played the surveillance video for Bruce and Sophie to see.

After understanding what had happened, Bruce almost lost his composure. That damned daughter of his had actually caused trouble at the Austin family.

Sophie cursed her daughter in her heart, wondering why she never learned her lesson after suffering a few setbacks. She didn't know how to handle things cleanly, leaving behind evidence for others to use against her.
