Chapter 132 Uncle vs Nephew: Fighting Over a Woman?

"Okay!" James said bluntly, "You've been investigating Herbie's whereabouts all along, and I think I've already found out where he is!"

"Where is he?"

Upon hearing the name "Herbie," Freya's heart immediately became uneasy. After searching for Herbie for so many years, had this person finally appeared now?

James handed a photo to Freya and said, "A friend of mine snapped this at a casino abroad. Take a look and see if he's the one you've been searching for."

Freya took the photo and saw a man wearing a tank top, with a giant lion tattooed on his arm, and a gold chain around his neck, giving off a bit of a nouveau riche vibe.

Although he was wearing sunglasses, Freya still recognized him right away.

"Yes, it's Herbie!"

Freya's hand trembled as she held the photo. "Which country is your friend in?"

"Aurigon," James replied.

"Okay, thanks for sharing this with me. I think I need to fly to Aurigon immediately," Freya said, grabbing her bag and preparing to leave.

But just then, a large hand grasped her wrist. "I'll go with you," James said.

"No need, Ella will help me," Freya replied.

Freya thanked him for his kindness, but she didn't want James to come with her to the chaotic and dangerous Aurigon.

Plus, she didn't want Bradley to get the wrong idea!

"Freya, I'm way more familiar with that place than you are. And Aurigon is full of dangers. With your and Ella's abilities, you probably couldn't even get past the casino doors, let alone think about taking Herbie out from there."

James was pretty firm about it, not letting go of Freya's hand.

Freya stared at him for three seconds. She actually wanted to say she had a way to get in, but before she could speak, an annoying voice came from outside.

"Hey, Aunt Freya, are you on a date with James?"

Ethan hobbled in with his cane, followed by a bunch of shady-looking guys. It was clear they meant trouble.

Freya rolled her eyes. "Who let their crazy dog out to bark without a leash? Does the owner even care?"

Insulted by being called a crazy dog, Ethan's face immediately darkened with anger. "You little brat, who are you calling a crazy dog?"

"Whoever acts like one, obviously." Freya said defiantly, crossing her arms and showing Ethan no respect. Once she pretend to be clueless because she was weak, but now that she no longer clueless, there was no reason to be polite to this crazy dog.

"You little brat!" Ethan was completely humiliated now. He turned to the men beside him and said, "Get her! Once you catch her, you can do whatever you want."

A group of burly men started moving closer, but James immediately stepped in front of Freya to protect her.

"Ethan, you're going too far. Freya is your aunt. If you lay a hand on her, it's downright disgraceful!

Ethan burst into laughter as if he heard the funniest joke ever. "Oh, James, no matter how much I misbehave, it can't match up to you! You're sneaking around with Uncle Bradley's woman behind his back. What do you think he will do when he finds out?"

"You think everyone's as dirty as you!" James swung his fist, quickly punching towards Ethan. He had wanted to do this for a while, but his mother had always advised him to bear the insults and not confront his uncle's family directly. Otherwise, he wouldn't have waited until today to act.

Ethan was caught off guard by James' sudden and brutal attack, which left him bleeding. He quickly lost his temper. "Alright, James! Looks like you don't want to live anymore!"

Ethan pulled out his phone and made a call. Though no one knew who he called, when he shouted "Uncle," everyone knew he was calling Bradley.

After hanging up, Ethan smirked, though it wasn't clear what the other had said. "Just wait. Uncle Bradley's on his way. Let's see where you two lovebirds can hide!"

Upon hearing this, Freya's heart sank as she sensed trouble ahead.

Bradley was coming!

….

On the road.

A black Rolls-Royce was speeding along at a furious pace.

Having already discovered Herbie's whereabouts, Bradley urgently left the CEO's office after arranging everything.

Just now, Shadow called, saying that Freya and James were meeting at the café. From the live video, he could clearly see the two of them chatting and laughing, which made him inexplicably jealous.

So, when she said she had something to do, she was actually meeting up with James?

Just then, another irritating call from Ethan came in, further adding to his annoyance.

The car sped up, like a sprinting cheetah.

In less than ten minutes, the car urgently pulled over at the café's entrance. Bradley got out, exuding an imposing presence as he stepped into the café.

As he showed up, it felt like the air around froze for a moment!

Watching the man's dark and handsome face, Freya realized that he must have gotten the wrong idea but she didn't feel like explaining. Anyway, she and James were completely innocent, so she wasn't afraid of being accused.

"Uncle Bradley, you came just in time! James is really too much. He actually deceived Aunt Freya to come here. I kindly reminded him, but he ended up beating me like this!"

Ethan, who had always been arrogant and domineering, suddenly ran to Bradley and complained.

Watching him nod and bow like that, Freya couldn't help but sarcastically remark, "What a loyal dog. Next, are you going to be a bootlicker?"

"You... you little…" Ethan was about to curse, but the next second, he received another heavy blow.

As he realized what happened, he stumbled backward. Two front teeth were knocked out, and a mouthful of blood sprayed out.

Bradley's face turned icy cold. He took a wet tissue from Shadow's hand and carefully wiped his hand, his voice chilling.

"Say another word, and I'll make sure you die here in a second!"

This was his woman, the woman he couldn't bear to scold or mistreat. How could he tolerate anyone bullying her?

Ethan was completely caught off guard by Bradley's sudden attack. After the punch landed, he lay on the ground for a while, his eyes gradually rolling back into focus.

He gritted his teeth in anger, biting down on his wound, and rolled on the ground in pain.

"Get lost!"

Bradley lost his patience, spat out the words from between his teeth and gave Freya a menacing look. "Is it done? Let's go home."

"I said I'll go back by myself, no need for you to come and pick me up." Freya knew the man was furious, but she was in a hurry to go to Aurigon and didn't have time to go back to the Royal Garden Mansion as the young lady.

"Freya," Bradley called her patiently again, "I'll say it again, let's go home!"

"Bradley, I haven't finished my business yet, I can't go home," Freya said anxiously. Her mind was filled with thoughts of Herbie now, and she had no time to argue with him.

Bradley was clearly angry. He stepped forward and grabbed her hand, while James quickly grabbed her other arm.

The three of them stood in a standoff, with Freya firmly caught in the middle.

Ella watched from the side, quietly surprised: Is this a showdown between uncle and nephew, fighting over a woman?
