Chapter 134: I Want to Be Alone!

Aurigon.

Immediately after the helicopter landed, a group of people hurriedly headed towards the casino.

Based on the clues from the photos, Herbie was a regular visitor at the casino.

This was the biggest casino in Aurigon, where various indulgences, arms smuggling, and drug trafficking took place.

It could be said that once they stepped into the casino, their lives were already halfway out of their hands.

For safety reasons, the four splitted into two groups, with Freya and Bradley together, while Ella and James provided support outside.

Upon arriving at the casino entrance, Bradley had a brief conversation with the bodyguards, then they respectfully made way for them.

Freya followed behind Bradley. Despite it being her first time here, she wasn't afraid at all.

Inside, the smell of smoke and the presence of mature men made Freya feel a bit sick, but Bradley quickly noticed her discomfort. He took her hand and guided her towards a different corridor, where the air was fresher.

Shortly after, they encountered a finely detailed secret door.

The bodyguard standing at the door showed exceptional respect to Bradley and personally guided them inside.

Suddenly, a glint of cold light appeared before their eyes, and a dart with a red tail flew towards them head-on.

It was clearly aimed at Freya!

Bradley's subordinate instinctively raised his hand, but Freya squeezed his palm, signaling him not to act rashly.

She stood still, her eyes narrowing as she watched the dart flash coldly. It flew past her and stuck into the door panel behind her with a thud.

At the same time, a strand of black hair fell to the ground.

"Haha."

Suddenly a hearty laughter broke the quiet atmosphere.

A middle-aged man approached them, laughing and clapping as he walked. With the height of over 1.80 meters, his sturdy physique indicated he was athletic, and his muscular arms bore the tattoo of an open-mouthed dragon.

Freya remained calm, following Bradley to approach the man.

"So, the women around Mr. Bradley are indeed courageous!" Mr. Zoller looked at Freya with great interest, his eyes staring intently, too direct and lecherous.

Freya could only feel disgusted by his gaze.

Noticing her disdainful look, Mr. Zoller felt a greedy desire rise within him.

Not only was this woman attractive, but she was also incredibly brave. Most women would have been terrified in tears in the situation just now, but Freya remained calm and collected, showing no sign of fear whatsoever.

Just that alone was enough to make him respect her more highly!

"You must be Mr. Zoller, the boss of the casino, right? Freya raised an eyebrow, her slender fingers picking up the dart on the table and playing with it. Her gaze sharp and filled with hostility.

Seeing this, the bodyguard standing next to Mr. Zoller made a move to open his suit, but Mr. Zoller stopped him.

However, Bradley noticed clearly that the bodyguard had a gun hidden at his waist!

Freya just shrugged and the dart in her hand flew towards the dartboard across. Five darts, three bull's-eyes, and two were close!

"Nice shot!" Mr. Zoller clapped again, his gaze on Freya becoming even more intense.

Bradley was also amazed. Freya's move took him by surprise, leading to a new understanding of her.

This woman was definitely not as simple as she appeared on the surface!

"Mr. Bradley, who is this lady? She's stunning!"

"My wife!"

Bradley casually uttered the words, then wrapped his arm around Freya's waist, declaring his dominance.

Mr. Zoller's face visibly changed before he burst into laughter. "I've always heard that you avoid romantic relationship, but who would have thought you'd secretly wed, and to such a remarkable woman! You are quite lucky, Sir!"

"Indeed, I hit the jackpot!"

Bradley pinched Freya's waist, a slight smile appeared on his lips.

Freya felt awkward being held like this, and she struggled uncomfortably. Yet, the man became even more assertive, firmly placing her on his lap.

Mr. Zoller saw the playful affection between the two, a glimpse of sharpness flashing in his eyes, but quickly faded away.

"It seems that your visit this time isn't just about catching up with me, is it?"

Bradley kept a low profile in his dealings. Even when there was business involved, he never took the lead. Mr. Zoller, however, was puzzled about the purpose of his visit this time.

"I want to be alone!"

Bradley leaned back on the sofa, unlike his demeanor in the capital. He exuded an air of dominance in his tone, brimming with confidence that even Freya could sense it.

This was a side of Bradley she had never seen before. Cold and aloof, sitting next to her without any expression on his handsome face.

"Oh? I wonder what kind of person are you looking for?" Mr. Zoller asked, sitting down on the sofa opposite, taking a cigar from his bodyguard and lighting it up.

"Herbie Jenkins."

Mr. Zoller's face changed.

Soon after, the bodyguard leaned in and whispered something in his ear, making Mr. Zoller's expression even darker.

"I wonder what issues do you have with him, Mr. Bradley, that you personally made the trip to see him."

Earlier, the bodyguard mentioned that Herbie arrived in Aurigon seven years ago. He was known for his ruthless nature and has helped Mr. Zoller solve many problems over the years.

Although he's just a small underling, he was still Mr. Zoller's man. He couldn't be taken away just because someone said so!

"He plotted against my wife's mother. Do you think I should seek revenge, Mr. Zoller?"

Bradley sounded very cold with his eyebrows raised sharply. He seemed really fierce and intimidating all over.

Mr. Zoller hesitated for a moment before sneering, "If you want to take him away, show me your sincerity!"

"Let's discuss the terms!"

Freya was impatient to waste time here. She just wanted to catch Herbie as soon as possible and send Sophie to prison.

"Impressive!" Mr. Zoller admired Freya even more. No woman had ever caught his attention like this before. If she wasn't Bradley's wife, he wouldn't hesitate to snatch her away.

"I happen to have something you want, Mr. Zoller. Will this be enough sincerity?" Bradley suddenly spoke up. His short sentence seemingly not revealing much, but Mr. Zoller's expression had already changed significantly.

"It looks like I need to seriously consider this matter, and also our future cooperation. After all, your archenemy also wants to purchase large quantities from me... "

Bradley looked at Freya before he stopped talking, ultimately deciding not to finish his sentence.

Mr. Zoller began sweating nervously and gestured for his bodyguard to approach. He whispered something, and the bodyguard quickly left.

"Don't be so worked up, Mr. Bradley. I've already sent someone to bring Herbie here. Everything can be discussed!" After saying that, he gestured towards his vibrating phone and added, "Please wait a moment, both of you. I need to take a call."

As Mr. Zoller left, Freya curiously looked at Bradley. His words just now were quite puzzling.

What kind of leverage did he have to make Mr. Zoller loosen up like that?

Freya felt like she needed to get to know this man again. The fact that he feigned illness for so long was probably not just for the sake of revenge.

There was something more to it. Something about his hidden identity that would surely surprise her.
