Chapter 185 Domineering or Jealous

Her WhatsApp was filled with photos Ella sent, showing her and Bradley.

The two held hands intimately, sleeping closely together…

Bradley woke up in the middle of the night and even kissed her lips...

She even curled up in the man's arms, her hands and feet draped all over him…

Ahem!

The more Freya looked, the redder her face became, especially when she looked up and saw Bradley also looking at the photos beside her, she felt even more embarrassed and wanted to bury herself in a hole.

"These photos are taken nicely, the angles are captured well," the man said seriously.

Freya pouted, grabbed a piece of bread, and stuffed it into his mouth directly, feeling embarrassed. "Eat your breakfast and then go home."

She really didn't expect Milo to stay up all night and come to take pictures secretly.

Enduring this embarrassment, Freya kept her phone away and focused on her breakfast.

After breakfast, Freya urged Bradley to leave quickly. The clinic had a consultation room, but it was only for patients, not for accommodation.

The clinic would soon be open for business, and it wasn't good for them to occupy the consultation room.

But Bradley kept pestering her, "Unless you promise to accompany me to the banquet, otherwise I'll keep bothering you."

Bradley's shamelessness left Freya speechless, and she could only compromise in the end, "We'll see about that when the time comes. If I'm free, I'll accompany you."

"Okay, then come home with me now."

As Bradley spoke, he moved forward to hug her.

"Don't do this, there are people outside," Freya dodged, jumping up and giving him a kick.

The man didn't dodge, easily catching her small foot, and with a little force, he pulled her into his arms, lips curling up.

"You're my wife. What's wrong with me hugging my wife?"

Just as Freya was about to scold him, her peripheral vision inadvertently swept toward the door, and the next second, she froze.

"James, when did you arrive?"

Hearing this, Bradley subconsciously turned his head to look, seeing James standing at the door with a fruit basket.

Although James disguised it well, Bradley still inadvertently caught a glimpse of melancholy in his eyes.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Freya quickly left Bradley's arms and tried to lighten the atmosphere, "What are you standing there for? Come in and sit down."

James suppressed his emotions and walked in, placing the fruit basket aside, saying, "Uncle, I couldn't reach you all day yesterday, so I called Aunt Freya and learned that you weren't feeling well. I came over to check on you."

Bradley raised an eyebrow and said coldly, "It's nothing serious, I'll be leaving soon."

James smiled faintly, "Since you're is fine, I'll leave first. I'll take care of things at the company. Uncle Bradley, take care."

After speaking, James turned and walked toward the door.

As he passed by Freya, he paused, lowering his voice, "In a few days, it's Master Gunther's death anniversary. Are you free to go pray for him together?"

Freya pursed her lips, suddenly remembering that Master Gunther's death anniversary and Cloudstone's celebration were on the same day.

However, the celebration was in the evening, so she could still go and pray for her master during the day.

"Okay, let's contact each other then."

"Your complexion doesn't look too good. Take care and rest more. I'm leaving."

With that, the man walked quickly outside.

Freya watched his departing figure for a long time without coming back to her senses.

She didn't expect time to pass so quickly. In the blink of an eye, it had been three years since Master Gunther passed away.

Bradley thought she was reluctant to part, her face showing a few hints of sadness. Even his voice sounded a bit sour, "What, still not forgetting him?"

Freya rubbed her forehead, directly grabbing a pillow from the side and hitting him.

"Let's go home."

She didn't feel like clarifying things to him. Lately, she had realized that this guy wasn't just controlling and irrational. but also prone to jealousy.

Just a video of acting, and he could get jealous.

If it involved her past with James, he would go crazy.

"Okay, I'll carry you home." The low, deep voice came, and the next moment, Freya fell into the man's arms again without a word, and he carried her out.

The clinic had already started operating, and all the staff were at work, with customers coming in gradually.

Being carried out so openly by him left Freya feeling embarrassed, so she shrunk into his embrace, burying her head in his chest, unable to face everyone.

Luckily, the people at the clinic didn't know her, as Ella was the one managing it, and the employees didn't know who she was.

Otherwise, it would have been extremely embarrassing!

Moving with long strides, Bradley left the clinic. The driver, who had been waiting since last night, had slept in the car. He immediately got out to help open the door when he saw the two approaching.

"Mr. Bradley, are we heading back to the company?"

Bradley spoke in a cold tone, "No, we're going to Royal Garden Mansion."

Half an hour later, the car slowly stopped at the entrance of Royal Garden Mansion.

Bradley got out of the car first, then lifted the still-sleepy Freya out and carried her into the villa.

He went upstairs, kicked open the door, and laid Freya on the bed.

Only then did Freya open her eyes and ask, "Are we home?"

Bradley stroked her hair and replied in a deep voice, "Yes, rest well at home. I have some matters to attend to outside."

Freya looked at him, feeling a bit worried.

Although her fever had subsided in the morning, he hadn't fully recovered yet, and it wasn't advisable for him to overexert himself.

However, she didn't say anything. Bradley had only recently taken over the Austin Group, and being busy was inevitable, especially since he must be eager to deal with Bradley after being set up this time.

Moreover, she didn't want to show too much concern for him, lest this man become too arrogant.

"Then come back early tonight, and I'll cook something delicious for you."

Bradley lowered his head, lightly touching her hair with his lips, his voice magnetic and gentle.

"Okay, I look forward to your cooking."

After saying that, he left the bedroom. His gentle expression instantly disappearing, replaced by a cold gaze.

He took out his phone and dialed a number, speaking coldly.

"Investigate who helped Madam resolve the situation in the restaurant last night."

"Sir, it's been investigated. It was Cloudstone Corporation's CEO, Lance Fenton."

Bradley's face darkened and a hint of hostility flashed in his eyes. "Tell Lance Fenton that I will attend the Cloudstone celebration on time, but I need to reconsider the contract with Cloustone. Let Cloudstone show their strength."

The voice on the other end, Harry Lewis, hesitated, "But, Sir, the contract has already been settled. If we propose new conditions now, I'm afraid..."

"Whether the contract is signed or not is up to me. Whether he agrees or not is his business." Bradley's cold voice cut in.

He wasn't particularly keen on cooperating with Cloudstone Corporation in the first place. If it weren't for the participation of another shareholder from Cloudstone, he wouldn't have been interested in attending such an event.

Poppy.

Lance Fenton's partner, the internationally renowned hacker, was the one who hacked into Austin Group last time.

Bradley was curious as to why Poppy helped him. Could it be just to facilitate his cooperation with Cloudstone?

Bradley hung up the phone.

He would have to wait until the celebration to personally ask Poppy for the specific reasons.
