Chapter 190 Suddenly Stopped

He knew she would be in pain soon, although he couldn't bear it in the bathroom, the thought of her crying made him unable to control his heartache.

Freya pursed her lips, as if she had made up her mind, and said, "Bradley, there's something I want to tell you."

"Yeah, go ahead," the man's voice was deep and husky.

"I... actually, my first kiss... wasn't with you." At this point, she didn't want to hide it anymore.

She had thought the man would be angry, but to her surprise, he only curled his lips slightly, then placed her on the bed and said in a cold tone,

"It's mine, all of it belongs to me."

Freya was taken aback, about to ask what he meant, but the man's burning gaze pierced deeply into her eyes, and the words that were about to come out of her mouth were swallowed back down into her belly.

The temperature in the bedroom suddenly rose, and time seemed to freeze.

Bradley kissed her passionately, his low voice once again sounding out.

"Freya, do you love me?"

Freya opened her misty eyes and looked at him, blushing, "Bradley, I like you. I don't know when I started liking you, but after tonight, I'll be yours."

His heart pounded wildly. Unable to hold back anymore, he lightly bit her lip, his voice hoarse as he said,

"I don't just love you a little bit, I want all of you. I want you to belong only to me, I won't give you a chance... to leave my side. Once you're in my heart, don't think about leaving."

The deep tone echoed in the night, sending shivers down Freya's spine. She could clearly see the intense heat and sincerity in the man's eyes.

She believed his words of love were never just empty promises.

"You're so domineering, how could I possibly escape?" Freya reached up and held onto his neck, softly saying, "Besides, with your long legs, I could outrun you."

Bradley's eyes darkened slightly as he cupped Freya's face and kissed her passionately, sealing her fate.

She had finally fallen into the trap he had set for her. From now on, she was his Mrs. Austin.

Even if she wanted to run, he would chase after her, wherever she hid, he would personally bring her back.

He kissed her until she was dizzy, enveloped in the intoxicating scent of mint emanating from the man's body.

The night was long.

Words of love whispered in their ears were the most beautiful symphony…

Half an hour later.

Screams echoed throughout the room.

Freya curled up into a ball, tears streaming down her face.

She looked like a wounded little animal, pitiful and helpless.

Bradley's heart throbbed with pain. He gently urged her, "Baby, come here, let me hold you."

"No, stay away from me, sniff..."

Freya felt as though she were dying, a level of agony she had never experienced even in her most severe injuries.

Bradley was drenched in sweat, his muscles tense with anxiety.

His eyes burned crimson, like an untamed beast.

However, his voice remained calm and soothing.

"Baby, don't be afraid, come here."

Freya was beyond hearing now, curled up in a ball, sobbing uncontrollably.

Observing this, Bradley approached her cautiously, his voice softer still.

Alright, alright, let it all out."

He reached out and tenderly caressed her face, offering solace.

Only then did Freya slowly open her tear-filled eyes.

She clearly saw the bite marks on the man's body. She had exerted too much force just now, causing intense pain.

But the thought of that pain made her tears fall uncontrollably, feeling extremely aggrieved.

Full of frustration, Bradley couldn't bear to see her cry. His hoarse voice softened as he coaxed, "Darling, it's over now, it won't hurt anymore."

Freya's mind was in chaos at this moment, unable to process any words.

She felt like this would become a nightmare.

Seeing her trembling, Bradley pulled the blanket over her and then went to the bathroom for a shower.

Although victory was within reach, he suddenly stopped abruptly.

This frustrating feeling made him extremely annoyed.

It wasn't until he had spent twenty minutes under the cold water that Bradley felt some relief from the pent-up frustration. He let out a heavy sigh, tied his bath towel, and walked out of the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Freya curled up, clutching her doll tightly, and fell asleep exhausted.

Bradley suddenly felt like smoking. He grabbed his cigarette case and went to the balcony. Leaning against the wall, he lit a cigarette and took a deep drag.

Once the unbearable feeling subsided slightly, he returned to the bedroom with long strides.

Perhaps because of the discomfort he had caused her earlier, Freya kept murmuring "it hurts" in her sleep.

He wanted to check her wound but was afraid of losing control again. So, he lay next to her, doing nothing, just staring at the ceiling with his eyes wide open.

The next day.

Freya woke up to find that it was already noon. She turned around and reached out, but found no one beside her.

When she opened her eyes, she saw no trace of Bradley.

Last night's torment had exhausted her. She didn't know when she had fallen asleep, but in her half-conscious state, it seemed like someone had held her and comforted her by her ear.

She wanted to open her eyes but was too tired. Eventually, fatigue overwhelmed her, and she fell asleep again.

Footsteps approached from outside the door. Freya thought it was Frederick coming to wake her up. She hurriedly tried to get out of bed to dress.

But she underestimated the extent of her injuries. The pain brought tears to her eyes, and she even stumbled to the ground, unable to stand.

Just as she thought she would fall dramatically, she caught a whiff of the familiar scent of mint. She felt a firm yet gentle embrace around her waist, and she fell into a wide and warm embrace.

"Brad... Bradley."

The man towering above her looked down, his lips curving into a smile. "Freya, so excited to see me?"

Blushing furiously, Freya swung her fist at him.

The man's appearance flooded her mind with memories from yesterday like a tidal wave. Her face flushed even redder as she avoided his fiery gaze and said, "Who, who's excited?"

"Then, by falling into my arms like this, are you trying to seduce me?" The man glanced at her, his dark eyes turning scorching hot, even his breath growing heavier.

Following his gaze, Freya's face immediately turned beet red.

Come on, she was currently hiding in the man's embrace completely defenseless. From his angle, he had a clear view of her, leaving her feeling utterly blank. Her immediate reaction was to push him away.
