Chapter 210 Mistaken as a Kidnapper and Arrested

"I won't regret it, honey!" Freya flirtatiously blinked at him before throwing herself at him. Her eagerness was evident on her face.

Bradley's suppressed desire surged once more.

He really could not hold back anymore.

He no longer cared that she might regret it after waking up.

Bradley embraced her and leaned down to kiss her.

The kiss was passionate and unbridled, with Freya shyly responding to him. At times, she would respond with a frantic urge while occasionally biting at his lips.

The passionate kiss continued until they both fell backward.

Just as Bradley was about to remove all their clothes, a loud noise suddenly came from outside the door.

Then, with a loud bang, the door was kicked open.

The ruined moment caused Bradley's face to darken as he turned back to growl in frustration. "Shadow, you…"

Before he could finish his sentence, someone interrupted him, shouting, "Don't move. Hands up in the air!"

It was only at that moment that Bradley saw the person behind him was…

A police officer?

His first reaction was to pick up the thin blanket on the ground and wrap it tightly around Freya's body before pulling her into his arms. Then, he turned to the officer and asked in a deep voice, "Is there a problem?"

The officer, infuriated, retorted, "How dare you ask if there's a problem! Do you not know what you're doing?"

Bradley's expression turned grim as he gazed beyond the officer, looking at Shadow who was outside.

Shadow shook his head. He had just been standing guard outside when a group of police officers rushed in with weapons aimed at his head. Before he could react, they kicked the door open and barged in.

He had no idea what was happening or why the police were here.

"What have I done wrong?" Bradley's eyes darkened as an icy aura filled the air.

His cold, narrow, black eyes exuded a strong oppressive pressure that caused the police to feel a sense of fear just by glancing at him.

When they looked at the woman in Bradley's arms, her dazed eyes and flushed cheeks made her seem like she had been drugged or was on drugs.

Now, the police were even more certain that this was a case of trafficking by a criminal organization, and Freya was the victim.

"You snatch up underage girls from their homes, and you are asking me what you have done wrong? I'm telling you, just this one charge is enough for us to lock you up for years." The officer, who had dealt with many criminals before, was not fazed for long and quickly regained his composure.

Shadow widened his eyes in shock. Even he, who was always calm, was now disturbed.

Wait. Snatching up underage girls?

This was a huge misunderstanding.

Shadow was about to explain when the owner burst in from behind him and added fuel to the fire. "Officers, these two men don't seem like good characters. Hurry up and arrest them. Don't let them continue hurting the young lady."

"Don't worry, sir. We will not let any criminals go unpunished."

Bradley was laughed from anger.

The owner had mistaken him for a human trafficker while Freya was an underage girl who was being trafficked. Was that why he had reported them to the police?

Did Bradley look like a human trafficker?

Shadow pinched his temple. He could bear it anymore and said, "You don't get it, officers. This is President Bradley Austin of Austin Corporation while the person next to him is Freya Lawson, his wife and president of Lawson Corporation. As for me, I am their bodyguard, not a human trafficker."

The officers were from the local police station and did not know Bradley or Freya.

Also, every criminal would make up an excuse to get away, so they were long been accustomed to such incidents. Naturally, they thought it was just a ploy.

"Whether you are traffickers or not, the three of you will come with us to the station for a blood test," the officer said with a righteous look on his face.

Bradley never expected such a situation to arise from just renting a room.

There was no way he could clear the confusion.

After all, he had rushed out and did not have any identifying documents on him.

In addition, Freya was in a bad state, so the officers just thought she was a drug addict.

Bradley reached for his phone, ready to tell Xavier to hurry up and bring the medicine over, but as soon as he moved his hand, several guns were pointed at his head.

"Don't move! Hands up."

Bradley slowly raised his hands, looking at the police with an icy glare. "I need to make a call."

"Whatever it is, you can talk about it at the station. Take them away."

Two police officers walked over, handcuffed Bradley and Shadow, and took them and Freya to the police station.

Due to Freya's strange condition, the police brought in a forensic doctor to draw her blood for urgent testing.

After all this was done, Bradley was taken away to sign an acknowledgement of his arrest.

When he read the paper outlining his charges, Bradley's face darkened.

It was worse when someone came over to take a photo of him. He flew into a fit of rage, shouting, "My wife was drugged. We couldn't find a nearby hotel, so I took her to a rented room. What's wrong with that?"

The police officer saw him shouting and immediately went to restrain him.

Bradley reacted very quickly and quickly pinned the officer to the ground while also fishing out his phone to call Xavier.

However, as soon as the phone started ringing, he hung up and called Patrick.

"Come to the police station of this village right away, and bring something that will cure that thing."

"Bradley, it's late at night. Who are you with, and why are you getting involved with the police?" Patrick asked in a teasing voice. Then, as if suddenly realizing something, he exclaimed in surprise, "I hear Juliet is back. You wouldn't be with Juliet..."

"Shut up!" Bradley immediately cut him off before continuing in an icy voice, saying, "Deliver it in half an hour. If you're late by a minute, I'll penalize you with a year's worth of your salary."

"Bradley, first tell me who you're with. If it's Juliet, what about your wife? You must not do anything foolish..."

Bradley's patience was worn thin, so he hung up the phone with a bang.

He irritably tugged at his collar and looked at the testing room.

Freya was locked inside. Due to the effects of the drug, her cheeks were flushed as her mouth opened and closed like she was silently complaining.

Bradley was heartbroken and about to rush over to see her when a police officer approached him with an electric baton in hand.

He turned around and coldly looked at the officer.

His sinister glare sent a chill down the officer's spine, but he forced himself to remain calm and declare, "For attacking a police officer, we'll detain you for two weeks."

With that said, he swung the electric baton at Bradley.

Bradley's burly body swayed as he staggered and went down on one knee,

The two police officers took him straight to the detention cell where they handed him a charge sheet to sign. However, Bradley remained motionless, exuding a cold aura and an oppressive presence.

Just as the officer was about to get rough with him, someone behind the officer yelled, "Wait, what's this person's name?"

"Bradley Austin."

"B-Bradley Austin?" The officer, who was scrolling on social media, was shocked. His eyes widened in disbelief. "Bradley Austin, president of the Austin Corporation?"

"When we were at the homestay just now, his accomplice did say that. He even mentioned that the woman was the President of the Lawson Corporation. These criminals are getting full of themselves. Do they think we're idiots who would be fooled with those fake identities?"
