Chapter 234 No Dignity With a Wife About To Run

After hanging up, Freya replied to Bradley.

There was no response for a long time.

Freya sat in a corner and took a glass of red wine from the waiter as her eyes scanned the crowd.

To her surprise, that allowed her to spot Juliet slip and fall directly into Bradley's arms.

It turned out that with a beauty in his embrace, he had no time to reply to the message.

Freya felt her nose sting, so she drank the wine in one gulp as her insides rolled in distress.

She had planned to leave tomorrow. Now, there was no need to hesitate. Once the celebration was over, she would be leaving.

It would be considered… as an act of kindness and blessing for him to be with Juliet.

Freya put down her wine glass and moved to go freshen herself in the bathroom before meeting with Michael.

In the middle of the venue.

Bradley felt extremely uncomfortable when touched by Juliet, so he gently pushed her away as he spoke in his deep voice.

"You shouldn't be here. You're not well. I'll have someone drive you back."

"I'm fine. I just sprained my ankle earlier." Juliet looked at him demurely with a gentle and kind look. "Go work. I'll sit in a corner over there. We'll go back together after the celebration ends."

"Alright, if you feel unwell, tell Harry. I'm off to the restroom." Bradley's tone was indifferent with no expression showing on his face, but his eyes kept scanning the hall.

It was as if he was looking for someone.

Juliet clenched her fists. She knew very well who he was looking for, and it made her heart twist in anger and discontent.

Bradley did not say another word before walking away with his phone in hand.

The video sent by Shadow proved that Freya was with Lance, so he was certain that Freya was also here.

Ding!

He glanced at his phone and saw a message from Poppy.

Poppy: Sorry, there's a sudden problem. I will get back to you in about an hour.

Impatient, he immediately shot her a reply.

Bradley: I can't wait for an hour. Get back to me within half an hour."

Freya had just left the venue when she received a message. She stopped in her tracks, took out her phone and read it.

She instantly scowled and typed out a response.

Poppy: The video was infected with a virus. I can't finish it in half an hour.

Bradley's brows furrowed tightly as a cold gleam flickered in his dark eyes, like lights seen in the waves of the deep sea. He impatiently tugged at his tie.

He did not reply to Poppy and instead tried calling Freya.

Surprisingly, the call was a success.

Judging by the ringing, the phone seemed to be located straight ahead of him.

Bradley's eyes were filled with joy as he strode in the direction of the ringing. However, he then saw a petite figure heading towards the bathroom.

She was wearing a red dress with her long hair pinned up while carrying a light golden purse.

She looked just like the photo.

Afraid that she might run away, Bradley hurried to catch up.

Freya heard the heavy footsteps behind her and turned around to find a familiar handsome face.

Oh, no. He found me.

Without a second thought, she ran off.

"Freya!" Bradley called out.

Freya ignored him, putting all her strength into running faster. She had turned on her phone earlier to wait for a reply from Ella, never expecting Bradley to call her at that moment.

She was ready to give up on him and to stay away from him, so she did not want to see him right now.

He was getting closer, so she hurriedly ducked into the nearby women's restroom.

Bradley felt it would be rude to go in, so he stood at the door and softly called out, "Freya, come out."

Freya hid inside with her heart pounding in her throat.

This was the women's restroom,. There was no way Bradley would dare to barge in if she refused to come out.

"Freya, it's not what you think. Come out. I'll explain everything," he called out in his deep voice.

Freya covered her ears, not wanting to hear a single word from him.

Just then, she heard the door being forcefully kicked open, followed by a strong force rushing toward her.

No way. Did he actually barge into… the women's bathroom?

"Bradley, don't be reckless. This is the women's restroom. Isn't it undignified for you to barge in like this?" Freya finally could not hold back and spoke up to stop him.

At that moment, Bradley was standing at the doorway with his tall and burly figure leaning against the door. Instead of barging in, he had just kicked the door in.

It was a diversion to make her think he had stormed in.

Sure enough, she got anxious and started talking.

He kicked the door again on purpose and said in a fierce tone, "If you don't come out, I will search every stall and drag you out myself."

"You... you have no shame."

"My wife is about to run away. Who cares about dignity and shame?"

Freya panicked.

Given Bradley's shamelessness, she actually believed he would do such a thing.

"You can leave. I don't want to see you. There's nothing to explain." She sat on the toilet, afraid to go out and afraid that Bradley would barge in and catch her right away.

"Everything you heard this afternoon was a misunderstanding. Juliet and I…"

At that point, Bradley's phone rang. He glanced at the screen. It was a call from Juliet.

Freya also received a text message from Michael, urging her to hurry.

"Your phone keeps ringing. Juliet must be looking for you. You already have a companion. Why did you still look for me? Hurry up and leave. Don't bother me anymore,"

As she spoke, she typed out a reply to Michael.

Bradley's phone rang for a long time. Finally, he ended the call in impatience.

His voice sound as if it was forged in ice as he said, "Freya, I'll count to three. If you don't come out, I'll charge in right now."

"One."

He sounded serious, prompting Freya to clench her fists.

"Two."

She bit her lip hard as she glanced at the window above the bathroom. Then, she immediately jumped up from the toilet, ready to climb out the window and leave.

"Freya, you forced me into this."

His sinister voice echoed through the restroom before he immediately rushed in, only to see a figure hanging from the window. She glanced back at him.

Bradley rushed over to grab her, but she was faster and jumped.

Without much thought, he followed by jumping out of the window.

Freya did not expect him to actually catch up to her, so she ran straight to the rooftop.

She gasped for breath as she climbed the stairs. She was exhausted, and as she was on her period, she felt like she was about to die.

When she saw him rush over, she supported herself with a hand on her waist and glared at him in annoyance. "Go to your Juliet. Why are you chasing after me?"

His long legs meant that he was soon standing in front of her after taking a few steps. He then grabbed her arm.

"I don't remember what happened last night, but I promise you, there was nothing between Juliet and me." He then swiftly pulled her into his arms.

Freya desperately struggled, punching him in the chest with her fists. Then, she lowered her head and bit his neck.

Bradley did not move and just stood there letting her gnaw at him..

He knew she was angry. Otherwise, she would not have avoided him, and she would not have refused to attend the banquet with him. Instead, she left with Lance.

The thought of Lance made jealousy surge through him, causing his eyes to turn red.
