Chapter 235 I Only Want You. Don't Give Up on Me!

Freya bit down hard. Soon, a faint taste of blood spread in her mouth.

She savored the sensation of Bradley's muscles tensing up as she knew that he was in pain. However, he did not move a muscle and showed no intention of pushing her away.

This man must be crazy.

Frustrated, Freya shoved him away.

"Since you don't remember, how do you know that nothing happened between you two?" She angrily took something out of her handbag and flung it toward him.

Bradley's pupils constricted as he watched the document fall to the ground.

It was their marriage certificate.

Freya bit her lip as she looked at him with deep hatred. "I told you, if you dare to betray me, I will divorce you. If, by the end of tonight, you cannot provide strong evidence to prove the nature of your relationship with Juliet, then after the celebration is over, we will sit down and sign the divorce agreement."

She had everything prepared long ago.

She always brought her marriage certificate and divorce agreement everywhere with her. Once Ella had restored the video, she would use these to cut off ties with him.

Bradley looked at her with bloodshot eyes as he clenched fists. His entire body was trembling as it felt like his heart was being squeezed by a hand. The pain was suffocating.

He bent down, picked up the marriage certificate, and gently wiped away the dust on it, but the emotions in his eyes now terrified her.

She subconsciously stepped back as she warily watched him.

Bradley approached her.

Freya continued to retreat.

Then, she had reached the edge of the rooftop.

Freya took another step back and looked behind her. They were dozens of stories high, and the sight made her a little dizzy.

At that moment, Bradley's arms gently wrapped around her waist before he pulled her hard.

The world spun for a moment before Freya fell into his arms. Now, they had swapped places.

With a slight twist of his wrist, he pushed her away before standing in a way that made his tall figure curve slightly backward. There was a smile on his lips though.

"Freya, I have also said that divorce is impossible unless I'm dead."

Freya's mind went blank.

When she realized what he wanted to do, she panicked. Even her voice was trembling as she called out, "B-B-Bradley, don't mess around."

She stammered as it felt like her tongue had been twisted into a knot.

"Scared?" The man slowly spread out his arms with half of his body hanging over the edge of the building. Just one step and he would fall.

"Don't be like this. Let's have a proper conversation. Don't be stupid."

"You want a divorce. What else is there to talk about between us?"

His voice was filled with sorrow with a hint of death and despair in it, which made Freya panic even harder. Her heart was beating as if it was about to burst out.

"We can talk about that divorce. First, get away from there."

Freya looked at the sadness welling up in his dark eyes and felt something squeezing her heart. It was as if something important was gradually being taken away from her, making it difficult for her to even breathe.

"For so many years, you endured humiliation and disguised yourself. For what, if not for revenge? Now that you have avenged your great enemy and achieved your long-awaited position as the president of the Austin Corporation, your life has just begun. It will be such a pity to die like this."

Due to her nervousness, Freya began to ramble.

She even wondered what she should do if Bradley actually jumped.

"No amount of wealth and power is worth more than you. I only want you. Don't give up on me. Don't leave me..." Bradley's voice was filled with extreme sorrow. Then, as if he had made up his mind, he gradually relaxed and closed his eyes.

"No!" The scream tore through her throat.

Bradley had indeed made up his mind. If she really wanted a divorce, he would jump.

Although he knew that forcing her to do this was cruel, he was willing to do whatever it took to keep her love, including risking his own life.

"I won't leave you. I won't divorce you either. Come back. Come back!" Freya hurriedly cried with tears streaming down her face.

Bradley's lips curled upward as he coldly spoke in a way that allowed the wind to carry his voice to her.

"Do you love me?"

"I do. I love you. I can't bear to see you die. Please don't scare me like this."

Finally, she was being honest with him. He smiled.

In the next second, he steadied his body and rushed towards her before frantically embracing her, encircling her in his arms.

"Freya, since you still love me, how can I bear to just die like that?"

"You lied to me again, you b*stard." Freya was trapped in his embrace, surrounded by the man's intoxicating minty scent. She kept punching him.

This darned man had used an underhanded trick to force her to agree with him.

He was cruel!

"I'm sorry. I just love you too much. If I lose you, I have no desire to live!" Bradley greedily inhaled the scent emanating from her. He had not seen for just one day and night, but it already felt like it had been centuries.

"Never try to leave me, or I'll really die and haunt you for life." He fiercely kissed her lips.

It felt like he was punishing her.

For some reason, the restless emotions that had just been warring in him were somewhat calmed by this kiss.

This time, he only wanted to hold her tightly as if that would bring peace to his heart.

After an unknown amount of time, the kiss ended.

Bradley held her with his chin resting in the hollow of her shoulder as he spoke in a deep voice.

"The person I was hugging last night was you, right?" Although he was not fully conscious, he could smell the woman's scent, and it belonged to the woman in front of him.

"You hugged me, and then you turned around to embrace Juliet." Freya's mind was filled with Juliet's words. She was a mess and still bore traces of Bradley being rough with her.

If Bradley did not do that, then who did? As if it would be Juliet herself.

At the thought of how he had hugged Juliet and was now hugging her, she felt a sense of discomfort and forcefully pushed him away.

"Bradley, if the evidence proves that you really did it with Juliet, I will take back what I just said. I will still leave you and completely cut ties with you."

Freya's eyes were slightly red. As she had been crying, her cheeks were still streaked with tears. She solemnly looked into the man's eyes.

"I cannot tolerate any annoyances, nor can I accept you playing mind games with other women, let alone share you with Juliet. Think carefully. Do you want Juliet or me? I will give you time to consider. Come find me when you have made up your mind."

"No need to think. I only want you," he said without hesitation.

Freya looked up at him. He was wearing a well-pressed black shirt with two buttons undone where faint traces of her bite marks could be seen.

There were a few beads of blood on his skin.

He was gorgeous, seductive, and captivating.

Although he looked rather disheveled and upset, it still could not hide his immense brilliance. He seemed to stand at the top of the world. With just one glance or one move, he was able to control a person's fate.
