Chapter 247 Listen to Your Wife

Observing from a distance, he saw Freya encircled by others.

His brows furrowed slightly in concern.

He even caught sight of Walter's inappropriate gaze, causing his expression to darken.

Lance also took notice of the situation.

As he moved to instruct the bodyguards to intervene, Bradley halted him with a raised hand.

His demeanor was cold, his eyes deep and penetrating, emitting an icy aura that seemed to freeze the very air.

Freya intended to push Lola away, but in that moment, she caught sight of his chiseled, handsome face, appearing somewhat perturbed.

He seemed very angry.

As the three continued persuading Freya to go to the hospital, an abrupt chill swept over them from behind, causing involuntary shivers.

Before they could react, a chilling voice sounded from behind them.

"My wife is under my care; there's no need to worry about money."

His voice, deep and magnetic, carried a frosty edge, devoid of warmth.

Bradley emerged behind them, hands casually in his pockets, exuding an imposing presence.

Many people gathered around upon his arrival.

However, his gaze remained fixed solely on Freya, as if she were the sole focus of his attention, rendering others insignificant.

His composed and commanding demeanor, coupled with his striking appearance, captivated all the women present.

Witnessing Bradley's approach, Diana felt a sense of unease.

Her original plan was to secretly drug Freya while pretending to accompany her to the hospital.

Then, once Lola had drugged Lance, she would placed Freya in Lance's room.

Now that Bradley had arrived, this plan wouldn't work, and she would have to find another opportunity to target Freya.

"Mr. Austin."

At the sight of Bradley, Walter's legs went weak.

If Bradley found out he had ideas on his woman, he wouldn't be able to keep his life.

Bradley didn't speak, instead walking straight to Freya, pulling her into his arms, and whispering softly in her ear.

"Where does it hurt?"

After speaking, he pinched her waist hard.

Freya glared at him, gesturing for him to behave.

"Mr. Austin, I just accidentally bumped into Mrs. Austin and wanted to take her to the hospital. I meant no harm," Walter wiped away a cold sweat, worried that Bradley would be angry, which would spell trouble for him.

"No other intentions?"

Bradley's eyes narrowed, his gaze shifting downwards towards Walter's groin, instilling fear.

Quickly crossing his legs, Walter's sweat flowed even more profusely.

Bradley gestured to the nearby bodyguards, who promptly restrained Walter.

"Mr. Bradley, what do you mean?"

"Escort him out and ensure he never acts on such intentions again."

Walter was escorted away by the bodyguards.

Miserable sounds of pleas for mercy could be heard in the distance.

Witnessing this, Diana and Lola retreated in fear, apprehensive of their own fate.

Meanwhile, Juliet remained hidden in a corner, her hands clenched tightly, her eyes filled with bitterness and resentment.

All the love he should have given her has now been taken by Freya.

She despises this woman, wishing Freya could just disappear.

Initially, she had planned to destroy her directly, but now she has changed her mind.

She intends to manipulate Bradley into personally condemning Freya to hell.

Just wait and see, the drama is about to unfold.

"Honey, how do you intend to handle these two women? I suspect they might have ulterior motives in taking me to the hospital."

Freya blinked, her seemingly innocent and beautiful face betraying an eerie malice in her eyes at that moment.

"Listen to your wife."

The man's lips curved slightly.

Freya blinked again, "Throw them out of the celebration; I don't want to lay eyes on them."

"Isn't tossing them out of the celebration too lenient? What about banishing them from the capital?"

"Great idea!"

Freya clapped gleefully, tiptoed, and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Juliet's eyes seemed to be filled with venom, piercing straight into her flesh, yet she felt no pain.

The two openly flirted and bantered, their affection glaringly evident.

Freya came from a humble background, while Juliet was the pride of the Jordan family, which had earned considerable honor for its significant contributions to the nation.

In terms of family background and appearance, what did she lack compared to Freya?

But he only saw Freya, never her.

She loathed it!

Initially, she had planned to use Lola and Diana to deal with Freya, but these two women were too foolish and were ejected before they could even act.

It appears she'll have to take matters into her own hands.

Bradley loves Freya so much, doesn't he?

But how deep will his love be when she's with another man or mingling with his partner?

She couldn't wait to see this drama unfold.

Freya watched as the two women were tossed out of the hotel, feeling inexplicably satisfied.

Like two annoying flies buzzing around her, she had long wanted to swat them dead.

But then Walter suddenly appeared, providing her with the perfect excuse to remove the obstacles.

However, she was somewhat surprised by how Bradley dealt with Walter.

The consequences were truly dire.

"Honey, I think I should be careful not to provoke you in the future, lest I meet an untimely demise."

"Don't worry, I couldn't bear to see you dead."

The man leaned close to her ear, whispering softly, his warm breath causing Freya's face to flush red.

"You're incorrigible." She playfully punched him with clenched fists.

Bradley gently held her hand, pressing it against his chest, his eyes filled with tender affection.

Juliet watched the two of them openly display their affection, holding a tall glass in her hand.

Exerting too much force, even her delicate face contorted.

She fiercely threw the glass on the ground, the crimson liquid splattering everywhere, glass shards flying.

She had never seen Bradley so tender; it seemed like he was pouring decades of his tenderness into Freya.

But she also wanted to be cherished by him, to become the most important woman in his heart.

Juliet knew it was just a dream. Bradley only felt duty and responsibility towards her, not true love.

If he did, they would have been together eighteen years ago.

She had thought that as long as she sincerely gave, he would see her worth.

But she never expected that after so many years, there was another woman by his side.

She glared at the two of them fiercely, then turned and left the main hall.

Now that they were so affectionate, she would make them loathe each other later.

Little did she know, a scrutinizing gaze had been following her departure all along.

Xavier had been sitting quietly in the corner.

Ever since Freya told him about this women, he had been secretly observing Juliet.

Juliet was born into a prestigious military family and was skilled at disguising her emotions. But just now, he seemed to sense hatred and resentment from her face.

Was she truly such a cunning woman?

Eighteen years ago, she poisoned the food in an attempt to seduce Bradley. When the plan failed, she took the blame voluntarily.

Due to Jordan family's contributions, Bradley forgave her but chose to keep his distance.

Over the years, her feelings for Bradley had never wavered, something he and his brothers were well aware of.

But Juliet, apart from her emotions, was always prudent in her actions, never causing trouble for Bradley.

If it weren't for being framed by Ian Logan, losing her innocence, and suffering from depression, she would never have come to the capital.

Xavier was worried that her love might turn to hate, harming Freya.

To be safe, Xavier secretly sent someone to monitor Juliet.
