Chapter 253 What is his identity?

Juan was a man with only one hobby: women. And Freya was so beautiful that Juan would definitely be interested in her.

"Who is it? Give me the information, and I'll take care of it for you.", Juliet said.

"A woman, preferably... someone who will be ruined, becoming a woman everyone can trample on." Juliet's eyes gleamed with malice.

"Alright, then you'll keep me company tonight." Juan said, tightly embracing her.

"Are you crazy? This is a hospital. Someone could walk in at any moment." Juliet protested, but Juan paid no heed.

...

Freya went to see Harry, who had already woken up. Compared to Bradley's injuries, his were relatively minor. However, he had suffered a minor concussion from the impact to his head.

As for the events leading up to the accident, it was just as Freya had suspected: both cars were involved in the scheme.

With her investigation nearly complete, Freya attempted to repair the surveillance footage but found it completely destroyed, beyond repair. This reminded her of the video Bradley had sent her, also destroyed in a similar manner. Could there be a connection between the two incidents?

For some reason, Juliet's image flashed through Freya's mind. She narrowed her eyes, thinking that Juliet might provide some clues.

When Freya arrived at Juliet's room, she knocked on the door. "Juliet, are you awake?"

There were noises of movements inside the room.

Juliet heard the knock and quickly pushed Juan away, hastily covering herself with a blanket.

"Someone's here. Go quickly." Juliet urged Juan, who kissed her several times before leaving through the window while putting on his pants.

"Who is it?" Juliet asked.

"It's me, Freya."

"Come in." Juliet replied.

Upon hearing the response, Freya pushed the door open and entered.

Juliet leaned against the bed, her clothes tidied up, lazily looking at Freya. "It's late now. What brings you here?"

"Nothing, just came to see you." Freya raised an eyebrow, unexpectedly finding the room air-conditioned with the window still open. However, she didn't dwell on it and sat down beside Juliet.

"I listened to what you said earlier. I've also thought it over carefully. You're right. Every time Bradley gets hurt, it's because of me. I am indeed his troublemaker." Freya said.

"But Juliet, let me tell you, since I've married him, no matter what happens, we'll always be together. As for you, don't even think about interfering in our relationship. Whatever conspiracy you're planning, it's best to stop now. Otherwise, even if you saved Bradley's life, I'll still come after you."

"As for your illness, stop pretending. You don't really have depression. You're only faking it to gain Bradley's sympathy and guilt, trying to sabotage our relationship. Am I wrong?" Freya spoke calmly, but there was an underlying determination in her tone.

Juliet's face darkened. "I don't know what you're talking about." she feigned ignorance.

"I know exactly what I'm talking about. Deep down, you know it too! And everyone knows what happened between you and Bradley." Freya said, scrutinizing Juliet's eyes. Though they seemed harmless, they couldn't hide the hatred beneath.

This woman was too scheming!

"Do you think it matters? I saved his life. And this favour, I got it by sacrificing over a hundred lives. Do you think he'd believe you? Even if I lied to you, it doesn't matter. Bradley has a responsibility towards me, and he'll never get rid of me." Juliet retorted, dropping her pretence.

Juliet was more determined than ever to destroy Freya. As long as she existed, Juliet could never get what she wanted. So Freya has to die!

"What is Bradley's true identity?"

Freya furrowed her brows.

"Heh, see? Bradley doesn't love you that much. He doesn't even trust you enough to tell you his identity. Freya, don't think too highly of yourself. You'll only be a stumbling block for Bradley. If you don't want to harm him, you'd better leave him as soon as possible." Juliet sneered.

Freya clenched her fists. She had suspected that Bradley had another identity, but she couldn't figure out what it was, which frustrated her. Even after all this time, he still hadn't confessed to her.

"You're wrong. I'll be his right-hand woman and help him achieve everything he wants." Freya said confidently.

"Is that so? Let's wait and see who will be there to protect Bradley in the end!" Juliet's mouth curled into a cold smile.

...

In the duty room, Xavier looked serious. "Juliet has been in the capital for some time now. Have you noticed anything unusual?"

"What can I notice when you're the one watching over her?" Patrick reclined lazily on the leather sofa, his legs crossed.

"It's precisely because I've been watching her that I've noticed several problems lately. She's not the same Juliet as before. I always feel that her presence will affect our revenge plan for Solterra." Xavier said.

At the celebration last night, he had been observing Juliet's every move. She meeting Walter Keating's men, she whispering to a waiter, she experiencing symptoms of miscarriage... Was it all a coincidence?

"I know she's depressed, so she's not the same Juliet as before." Patrick took a sip of his wine, his narrow phoenix eyes raising.

"Perhaps, but what if she's not really sick and is just pretending to gain Bradley's sympathy?" Xavier thought back to Freya's words and recalled every time Juliet fell ill, it always coincided with Bradley.

This was intriguing.

“Does she have an illness? You're a doctor, can't you diagnose it?”

"Mental health disorders are not in my expertise!” Xavier shot him a glare.

“Does Bradley know about this?”

“Bradley is as clear about it as a mirror. He probably suspects,” Patrick replied.

Indeed, Bradley had already begun to suspect. Especially after Shadow reported the situation at the banquet, his suspicions grew stronger.

What exactly was Juliet plotting?

Bradley narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists, leaning back against the hospital bed.

In fact, since Juliet secretly used his phone to call Freya, he had felt that she was not quite normal. He had Shadow secretly monitoring Juliet these days, but he had found nothing. Her routine was predictable, mostly staying in the private villa.

But at the celebration, she had come into contact with Walter Keating's people and even had interactions with a waiter. Was this all just a coincidence?

As he pondered, there was a knock on the door.
