Chapter 267 Tit for Tat

It felt like something furry moving across her skin, making her itch like crazy. However, then came this stabbing pain, like bugs chewing on her flesh.

"Ugh, so itchy, so freaking itchy!"

Juliet groaned, scratching like crazy.

"Freya, you're such a jerk. How could you do this to me?"

She looked really messed up, eyes all red, but she couldn't bear the itchiness, scratching until her fair skin was all bloody.

The more she scratched, the worse it got. Once she broke the skin, it was pure agony.

The itch was too much.

She dropped to the ground, rolling around, tears streaming down her face from the unbearable discomfort.

Freya blinked at the sight. "Enjoying yourself?"

This was the special powder Freya whipped up just for Juliet, designed to make her wish she were dead.

However, Freya didn't just come here to teach her a lesson, it was more than that.

"Freya, you have to give me the antidote!"

Juliet wailed, rolling around on the ground, making a bigger scene than a soap opera.

"You want the antidote, huh? Well, that depends on how serious you are," Freya said, hands tucked in her leather pants, smirking and winking. "Give me Bradley's antidote and I'll make your itching stop."

"I swear, I only shot him up with the poison. Ian never gave me the antidote, I swear!" Juliet was emotionally unstable, hair all over the place, looking like a total lunatic.

"If there's no antidote, just give me the poison."

Sean said there was not enough poison, so it was tough to whip up the antidote, which meant he had to get more poison.

"All the poison had been injected into Bradley's body. I don't have any left."

"No poison? Then you'll just have to itch yourself to death!"

Once she said that, she turned around and was about to leave.

"Freya, wait!" Juliet called out, desperate to stop her. "I really don't have it, but I know who does. If you give me the antidote, I will tell you."

Freya raised an eyebrow. Want me to stop the itching first?

No way.

You couldn't trust a word from a sneaky woman like her.

"I'll tell you! Just get in touch with Juan. He is Ian's right-hand man, he can get you whatever you need."

Juan Logan.

The guy with the scars who slipped away last time?

Freya tapped her nose, ice cold. "How do I reach Juan?"

Juliet clenched her fists, but stayed silent.

Freya grinned, "Fine, don't say it, just sit tight."

Then, she motioned for Ella and the crew to split.

Juliet couldn't help herself, creeping over to grab onto Freya's leg, "Okay, okay, if you give me the cure, I'll spill everything."

Freya folded her arms and stared her down.

Last time, Bradley swiped Juliet's phone and tried to ring Juan, but it just said "no service".

Even after he had his people clear out all the Logan family spies in the city, they still couldn't find Juan.

However, Freya knew Juliet must have had another way to reach them.

She overheard Juliet saying, "Juan is all about gambling and women, nothing else. Maybe you can try your luck at the underground casino in the capital."

Freya said nothing, just turned around and left.

"I have spilled everything, what about the antidote?"

"There is no antidote, just sit tight for three days, it'll wear off on its own."

"Freya, you sneaky…"

Juliet was seething with anger, but before she could finish, another needle whizzed toward her face, landing in her chest.

"Say one more word, and you will itch for three more days, deal with it yourself."

Her screams echoed through the room, sounding like something straight out of a horror flick.

Patrick watched it go down, clenching his jaw and sucking in a breath.

No matter what went down, you didn't want to mess with Mr. Bradley's woman.

This torture game was simply too cruel.

"Patrick, help me out here, I'm scratching myself to death."

Juliet was itching so bad she nearly died, forgetting all about her appearance. She simply lifted her skirt and started scratching."

Patrick was shock.

The next second, there was a sharp pain in his ear, and Madeline's aggressive voice sounded, "Patrick, you seaweed brain, where are you looking? You want me to scoop your eyes out?"

"Madeline, my bad, I didn't mean to."

"You've seen nothing yet, she's halfway undressed."

Madeline glared at Juliet with pure hate, this damn woman was like poison to her eyes.

Fuming, she stepped up and kicked her hard, feeling a bit better after giving her a couple of slaps.

Juliet ground her teeth, shooting daggers at their backs as they left.

"Freya, Leonard, even if I die, I won't let you off easily."

They hopped on a helicopter back to the city, and it was already dusk.

Freya and Ella decided to hit the casino later, maybe they would luck out and find Juan.

"Freya, shouldn't we inform Mr. Bradley? It's too risky for you two to go alone."

Patrick disagreed with their impulsive moves. If something went down, he won't be able to explain to Bradley.

"His mind is all messed up, telling him won't help us catch Juan."

Patrick thought it made sense and said, "Fine, I'll send someone to tag along."

"No need, too many folks will just tip off the enemy. Me and Ella got this."

Freya was firm about it.

Patrick had to play it sneaky and sent some backup undercover.

After all, she was Bradley's woman. If anything happened to her, that man's gonna freak out.

Freya and Ella dressed up in disguise and snuck in without making a sound.

This joint was the biggest casino in town, attracting two types of folks.

The wealthy and the poor.

Freya did some digging on Juan.

Before the Logans took over Solterra, they made their fortune through casinos. Ian also had ties to the underworld, surrounded by criminals.

Juan had always been a regular here. Even if he had tried to go straight in recent years, old habits died hard, especially when it came to gambling.

So Freya figured they had a good shot at finding him here.

They waded through the crowd, the air thick with smoke and unpleasant scent of men."

With a scar running down his face, Juan stood out.

Freya was being cautious, keeping an eye on everything until she saw someone she recognized.

"Ella, the target is here."

She gently nudged Ella and whispered.

I would distract him while you seize the opportunity to grab him.

"Good."

Freya pulled down her baseball cap and headed towards the restroom.

What makes this casino special was that the women shuffling the cards were all seductive. This attracted lots of guys.

Juan was a bit of a flirt, so luring him away with a bit of feminine charm was not too hard.

Freya slipped into a card shuffler's outfit in the restroom. She came out looking elegant and graceful, capturing the attention of those with greedy eyes.

She gave a sly wink to Juan nearby and he eagerly tagged along.

Freya took him for a spin around the place on purpose.

Once they reached the safety exit, Juan couldn't wait and immediately hugged her.
