After leaving the CEO's office, Freya knew that after today, her identity as Poppy would forever vanish from the hacker world.
Bradley sent a message to Shadow, instructing him to keep an eye on Freya.
The woman was too mysterious; he needed to uncover her true identity.
In the fire escape corridor,
Sharon watched Freya leave and decided to go find Bradley.
As she stepped out, she bumped into Harry, who was carrying documents. Harry was surprised to see her.
"Why are you still here?"
"Mr. Lewis, I really need to see Mr. Austin urgently. Could you please make an exception and let me in to see him?"
"Miss Turner, Mr. Austin won't see you," Harry persisted.
"No, that's not true. Please tell him that my father is willing to offer favorable terms for cooperation with Austin Group. He wouldn't want to miss out on the profit, right?"
"I'll tell you this: Mr. Austin doesn't lack money, and has no interest in Turner family. Miss Turner, please don't waste your time here and leave quickly."
Feeling frustrated, Sharon began to throw a tantrum. "You're just a lapdog by Mr. Austin's side. Whether Mr. Austin wants to see me or not is not for you to decide."
Already dealing with urgent matters, Harry became truly angry at Sharon's insults.
He spoke coldly, "Miss Turner, if you continue with insults, I'll have security escort you out. Whether you're thrown out or kicked out, I'm the one who decides."
Sharon's face turned ugly.
She snorted and could only leave dejectedly.
However, as she passed by the CEO's exclusive coffee room, she suddenly remembered something in her bag and had an idea.
Intentionally, she took the elevator downstairs.
Then she climbed the stairs back up and sneaked into the coffee room.
It was Bradley's private coffee room, and besides Harry, hardly anyone else entered.
With Harry busy in the CEO's office, it was the perfect opportunity for her to act.
Sharon opened her bag and poured the prepared powder directly into the water.
After leaving, Harry came out of the CEO's office and made coffee for Bradley.
Sharon emerged from the fire escape corridor, a smug smile on her lips.
She didn't believe Bradley could resist this drug.
She had asked around, and the drug was more effective on stronger men.
Soon, he would turn into a beast!
Harry brought the coffee into the CEO's office.
Bradley was currently in a video call with Shadow.
Since Poppy left Austin Group, it was obvious that someone was tailing her, and she deliberately walked in circles on the street.
She ended up entering a clothing store that was crowded with people, but she never came out again.
"Mr. Bradley, I suspect the other party may have disguised themselves and left."
That was the only explanation Shadow could come up with.
After all, he had been following her closely, and she couldn't just disappear out of thin air.
Retrieve the surveillance footage from the clothing store."
Bradley felt a bit irritated as he tugged at his tie.
Ever since he first saw Poppy, this woman had given him a strong sense of familiarity, which was why he had tracked her multiple times.
Unexpectedly, she was so cautious that she managed to evade his surveillance multiple times.
Harry brought the coffee to him.
Bradley didn't even glance at it and just took a sip directly.
"Is there a problem with this Poppy? You seem overly concerned about her."
Bradley narrowed his eyes, focusing on the surveillance footage sent by Shadow.
He said in a deep voice, "Mind your own business."
Harry closed his mouth awkwardly.
He turned around and left.
Bradley's slender fingers gripped the mouse, finally settling on a slender figure in the video.
Sure enough, she had disguised herself.
But, Poppy seemed to have noticed the surveillance and deliberately kept her head down, making her face unrecognizable.
Who was this Poppy?
As he contemplated, a sudden wave of heat washed over him, leaving him feeling flushed with a parched mouth and a sensation of burning. Without hesitation, he grabbed the nearby coffee and downed it in a single gulp.
Instead of satisfying his thirst, it triggered an uncomfortable burning sensation.
He narrowed his eyes, detecting that something was amiss.
He lifted the coffee cup and gave it a sniff, his expression immediately turning grim.
Damn it!
Someone had drugged him.
This cup of coffee was brought by Harry, and the coffee room in the lounge was his private space. Besides Harry, no one else had entered.
The only person who had been in and out of the CEO's office was Poppy.
Could it be her?
No.
He immediately dismissed the idea.
Poppy had no reason to do this. If she wanted to approach him, she could have simply agreed to his conditions for joining Austin Group.
But she refused.
Then who could it be?
Bradley was about to call Harry in when the sudden rush of heat became overwhelming. His body wavered, and he collapsed onto the sofa.
At that moment, the door to the CEO's office was pushed open.
A strong, intoxicating fragrance wafted in, followed by Sharon Turner, dressed provocatively, appearing before him.
"Mr. Austin."
Her voice was tender, as if she could wring water out of it.
Bradley raised his eyes to look at her, his handsome face dark and his black eyes cold, like turbulent waves.
In a hoarse voice, he reprimanded, "So it's you."
Sharon twisted her waist coquettishly as she approached him. "Mr. Austin, what are you saying? I'm here to discuss business with you."
The closer she got, the more intense the agitation inside him grew.
Accompanying it was a violent, bloodthirsty impulse.
His once black, cold eyes suddenly flashed crimson.
As Sharon approached him, he rushed towards her in a frenzy, grabbing her by the collar. "It's you, you deserve to die."
Sharon thought he would tackle her, but she didn't expect him to want to kill her.
She instantly panicked, crying out, "Mr. Austin, have you misunderstood something? It's not me."
In a frenzy, Bradley only wanted to shed blood.
His grip tightened more and more, and soon Sharon felt a suffocating madness.
She was about to die.
Her body was lifted forcefully by the man, her legs off the ground.
She trembled at the sight of his crimson eyes.
"Mr. Austin, let go of me..."
Bradley's veins bulged all over his body, and in his uncontrollable state, he resembled a wild beast.
His mind was consumed by the desire to tear her apart.
…
Not long after Freya left the clothing store, her phone suddenly rang.
It was a call from Bradley.
She immediately answered.
A fierce voice came through the phone, "You're dead, I'm going to tear you apart..."
"Mr. Austin, what's wrong?"
"Don't kill me, please..."
There was a woman's pleading voice in the background.
Freya panicked.
Who was in Bradley's office?
It seemed like he was having an episode again.
She didn't care about anything else and immediately ran to Austin Group.
As she was in such a hurry, she almost collided with a passerby on the way.
She feared that if she was too late, something might happen to Bradley.
Five minutes later.
She stood panting at the door of the CEO's office and knocked.
Other than the sound of breathing inside, there was nothing else.
She forcefully pushed open the door and saw Bradley holding Sharon, about to slam her into the wall.
"Bradley, don't..."
