Chapter 335 The Sudden Appearance of the Notes

The notes had been untouched for many years, covered in thick layers of dust.

Freya picked them up, wiped them off, and flipped through, causing a cloud of dust.

She couldn't help but cough.

"What's wrong?"

Bradley asked, worried about her continuous coughing.

"It's nothing, just found some notes that were lost years ago, covered in too much dust."

Freya replied, coughing so hard that tears welled up in her eyes.

Bradley glanced at her; the notes were quite old, with yellowed pages.

Despite the dust, Freya carefully read through them.

At this time, she couldn't care less about the man's look. She just wanted to see if there was any record of Bradley's problems.

As the pages of the book are opened one by one, all the memories are like boxes that have been sealed for a long time and are suddenly opened.

"Freya, these notes were your master's life's work. I hope you would use your medical skills to benefit society."

Her master had entrusted her with these notes before passing away.

Her medical skills had matured through the guidance of these notes, successfully treating various difficult illnesses.

It was her master who had given her hope, showing her that she could excel.

However, she had accidentally lost the notes during an experiment.

She searched for it through the entire laboratory for a long time, but couldn't find it.

For a while, she felt very guilty because of the loss of the notes, and she only felt sorry for her master.

Unexpectedly, after being lost for several years, the items had reappeared.

Freya focused on reading the notes, not caring about inhaling the dust.

Seeing that she was motionless, Bradley looked up at her.

The woman read the notes seriously, her slender white legs wrapped around his neck, and the delicate touch made his blood boil.

The faint scent of her body, combined with the smell of the notes, stirred his restless heart.

The notes were thick, several volumes bound together.

Freya had previously skimmed through the notes, but she couldn't remember the content towards the end.

As she rapidly flipped through the pages, she suddenly stopped, holding her breath.

Suddenly, she held her breath.

Towards the end, she found records concerning the Beast Army, along with a prescription to manage this condition.

However, due to the notes being lost for so long, some pages were damaged by mice, and one ingredient of the medicine was missing.

Freya signaled to Bradley to take her to the shelf to see if there were any missing pieces.

However, after searching every shelf, she could not find the missing corner.

"Bradley, maybe we've found a glimmer of hope."

Despite the prescription being incomplete, she was determined to experiment and complete it. She remained confident that she would eventually gather all the necessary ingredients.

"What hope?"

"The notes in my hand were personally left by Mr. Gunther, detailing various medical treatment methods and formulas for different illnesses, including records about the Beast Army. Take a look."

Freya placed the notes in front of him.

Because she was still sitting on his shoulder, she spread out the note and pointed it out to him, "Unfortunately, this page was chewed by mice, and one ingredient is missing..."

Leaning closer, her soft touch brushed against his head. Bradley, overwhelmed by her presence, was lost in desire, paying no attention to the notes.

His gaze darkened, and he swallowed nervously.

Unaware of his distraction, Freya continued, "The ingredients for these formulas are quite common. Even though one is missing, I can test each one. I refuse to believe I can't find it."

She was so close to him, and the moment she opened her mouth, the unique fragrance of a woman hit him, like poison.

Bradley took a deep breath and felt a little thirsty.

Noticing his distraction, Freya asked, "Are you even listening? Let me explain..."

But before she could finish, she felt dizzy and was suddenly embraced by him.

Caught off guard, she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs encircling his waist as she held onto him.

"Bradley, what are you doing?"

She was annoyed and attempted to push him away.

Bradley grasped her hand and placed it against his chest. "Baby, were you just trying to seduce me?"

His voice was deep and hoarse after being quiet for some time.

Freya was stunned, so…

She was just discussing serious matters with him, and his mind was filled with inappropriate thoughts?

Blushing furiously, she lowered her head and bit his neck.

It was not too gently, but it was enough to make him groan.

"Bradley, can't you be serious for once?"

She was worried sick about his condition, and here he was, shamelessly teasing her in such a solemn setting.

It was infuriating!

Bitten by her, Bradley squinted his eyes. His large hand directly grabbed the back of her head, and he bent down to kiss her.

Ever since she sat on his shoulder, he had been wanting to kiss her.

Now, with her snarling like a little wildcat and pouting, she looked irresistible.

He didn't want to hold back.

Caught off guard by the sudden kiss, Freya's brain went blank.

By the time she reacted, she was nearly suffocated.

Furious, she bit him again, prompting Bradley to reluctantly end the kiss.

"Baby, you're so adorable when you're flustered!"

His lips curved in a satisfied smile.

Freya's face was now as red as a chili pepper, her teary eyes glaring at him. She pushed his chest and left his embrace.

"I don't want to deal with you anymore. Leave; I need to start my experiment."

With that said, she prepared to leave.

But Bradley hugged her from behind. "Honey, it's getting late. We should go home."

"No, this experiment is important. It must be completed today."

She had finally found the long-lost notes and learned the cure for mania from them. Regardless, she had to give it a try.

"Then I'll accompany you."

He said, bringing her to the lab table and preparing to experiment with her hand in hand.

Freya was bewildered. What was he up to?

"No, just wait on the side. I'll handle the experiment." Freya was exasperated. With this man clinging to her, could she concentrate on anything?

"I want to learn too," Bradley said in a low voice, his hands not staying still.

Fuming, Freya gave him a shove with her elbow.

"Stay over there to cool off."

At this rate, the experiment would never be finished for a very long time.

Bradley deliberately didn't dodge, and this jab went straight to his heart, making him groan.

Freya noticed an unusual tone in his voice and promptly turned to assess his condition.

"What's wrong? Where does it hurt?"

"Here," he replied, gripping his chest firmly.

Freya became concerned.

Her anger-driven actions had left her unsure if she had caused him harm.
