Chapter 350 Wherever You Are, It's Perpetual Spring

Freya's lips curved into a smile. "What's on your mind?"

"The plan in Solterra has already kicked off. I might have to head back there myself in a few days."

The usually gentle man's expression suddenly turned serious.

Freya looked at him in surprise and said, "Then I'll go with you."

"No, this time, you stay safe in the capital. I can handle it on my own."

"Why not? Didn't you say wherever you go, I'll follow?"

"This plan is a bit risky, and I..."

Before he could finish, Freya covered his lips with her hand, feigning a hint of annoyance.

"If there's danger ahead, I'll be there with you. We promised to stick together through thick and thin."

Freya's warm breath gently brushed against his face as she looked at him with unwavering determination.

Bradley's heart stirred, and he held her tightly.

"Alright, we'll brave life and death together, never parting ways!"

After saying this, he deepened the kiss once again.

Three days later.

Shangri-La.

Patrick rushed in from outside, dust-covered, and said, "Bradley, Kevin is hosting a banquet at the mansion tonight to rally forces against Ian."

"Tonight is the perfect time to take action."

Bradley's phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of cold determination flickering in his gaze.

"The private jet is ready, we can depart now."

"Wait."

Bradley turned to him, his voice heavy. "Wait for Freya to arrive."

"Seriously, Bradley? You're bringing your wife on such a dangerous mission?"

Patrick was taken aback.

"I promised her that I would take her wherever I go."

If he were to leave without her this time, that little woman would definitely be upset, ignoring him completely.

He didn't want to see her unhappy.

"Alright, if Freya is so capable, maybe she can lend a hand when she's there."

Freya's skills were well known among the brothers.

She was not only a renowned doctor but also skilled in combat, not inferior to any of them.

Moreover, she was extremely intelligent, and perhaps she could help come up with some strategies to deal with the situation.

Soon, Freya arrived.

She was dressed in a leather jacket and pants, her hair tied up high in a ponytail. She exuded a strong and confident aura, resembling a queen of the underworld.

Patrick couldn't help but take a few more glances.

However, he couldn't shake the feeling of sharp eyes piercing into him from behind.

He turned to meet Bradley's sharp, yet enigmatic gaze, quickly diverting his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips as he replied,

With Freya's arrival, let's set off promptly.

Bradley reached for a handgun nearby, the motion graceful yet purposeful as he calmly donned black gloves before approaching Freya, his presence a reassuring anchor amidst the tension.

Shall we?

The private jet descended gracefully upon Solterra.

Marking Freya's maiden voyage to this bustling land.

Its vibrancy surpassed her imagination, yet the overcast skies draped a somber veil over the scene, unsettling her senses.

Perhaps it was the unrest within the royal court that cast a shadow over the populace,

Leaving the streets eerily deserted and echoing with a palpable sense of desolation.

"The wind here is oddly chilly,"

Freya pulled at her clothes, unable to suppress a shiver.

Observing her discomfort, Bradley swiftly shed his black windbreaker, draping it over her shoulders.

"The weather here lacks the perpetual spring of the capital; autumn feels more like the onset of winter."

He clasped her hand firmly, enveloping it in his palm, transferring his body heat to warm her icy fingers.

Suddenly, Freya no longer felt the chill.

She lifted her gaze to him and smiled, "Leo, wherever you are, it's perpetual spring for me."

The term 'Leo' nearly melted Bradley's heart.

When Juliet used it previously, he remained indifferent.

But spoken by Freya, those three words effortlessly stirred his emotions.

With his other arm encircling her slender waist, he spoke in a low tone,

"It's cold outside. Let me take you to our base camp."

"Okay."

Patrick arrived and personally escorted them to the villa.

Upon their arrival, Gabriel and Xavier were already seated on the sofa.

It was a standalone, two-story villa adorned in European elegance, exuding an air of opulence.

"Freya…"

"Freya…"

Xavier and Gabriel stood up respectfully when they saw Freya, greeting her with deference.

Freya nodded in acknowledgment before taking a seat next to Bradley.

"Bradley, we were just discussing tonight's plan. I proposed causing a distraction to divert the guards' attention. You and Patrick will then take the opportunity to infiltrate the secret chamber and retrieve the Celestial Ring,"

Gabriel explained the plan in detail.

Their primary objective in coming here was to retrieve the Celestial Ring first, then proceed to defeat Kevin and reclaim the entirety of Solterra.

Freya listened quietly as the plan was laid out.

After hearing it all, she raised a concern, "I assume Kevin's associates recognize all of you. Wouldn't it be too risky for you to attempt the retrieval personally?"

"In that case, Freya, what do you suggest?"

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, looking at her.

Freya blinked, then gestured towards herself, "I can help..."

"No."

Bradley interrupted her, "Freya, your task is to stay at the villa. You're not part of tonight's plan."

"Bradley Austin, you promised I could participate in all the plans,"

Freya asserted firmly, using his full name.

She had known before coming here that tonight's operation targeted the Celestial Ring.

She had prepared herself to participate fully.

She shared her thoughts with them.

"I believe Kevin is not foolish. If he wants to win people over, he will strengthen the mansion's defenses. If Gabriel fails to divert Kevin's attention successfully, it will increase the risk of exposure."

"But I'm different. Kevin doesn't know me. I can easily get close to him. When the time comes, I can take him down and create an opportunity for you. No one is more suitable than me," Freya proposed confidently.

Gabriel narrowed his eyes as he listened.

Among the three brothers, he had the most reservations about Freya.

Considering Bradley's aspirations for significant achievements, he feared that Freya might become an impediment to his plans.

But now, seeing her confidence, he gained a new understanding of her.

A woman so composed and courageous. Wouldn't she lead a more liberated life if she weren't tethered to Bradley?

Gabriel scrutinized her deeply for a long time before speaking.

"Freya's reasoning is sound. "Bringing in someone new for this plan increases our chances of success."

"But allowing her to face such danger herself? Besides, Kevin is no saint. He's not only lascivious but also depraved in his methods. If..."

Patrick halted there, not continuing.

He trusted Freya's intelligence, confident she grasped his implication.

Freya indeed did.

She twirled the silver needle in her hand, a sly grin dancing on her lips. "Let's not forget, I'm adept with needles. If Kevin even dares to lay a finger on me, I'll make sure he's left with no heirs."
