Chapter 366 Absolutely Intolerable

But there was nowhere to hide on this street, and with the night breeze and high sky, there was no one out and about at this time.

She could only run as fast as she could.

Suddenly, there was a loud "thud," and she collided with what felt like a solid wall of flesh, causing her to stagger back a few steps.

She squinted, releasing the last silver needle from her hand, which gleamed coldly in the darkness.

"Freya?"

A deep, resonant voice reached her ears.

In that moment, Freya could finally discern the figure of the man before her.

Exclaiming in surprise, she said, "Leo."

Behind her, footsteps approached, and Patrick emerged with a group of individuals.

Seeing this, Freya promptly handed Queeny over to him. "Patrick, take her."

Her arm was drenched in blood.

The wound from earlier was deep, leaving her arm completely numb with pain.

In the faint moonlight, Bradley noticed her injury, his brows furrowing deeply.

He strode forward and embraced her in his arms, feeling distressed.

"Are you hurt?"

Learning that Freya had been tailing Queeny alone had left him extremely anxious.

His men had scoured the area thoroughly, nearly driving him to the brink of insanity.

Moments ago, he had faintly heard the sounds of a scuffle on the street, prompting him to follow the commotion.

Thankfully, he had finally located her.

Enduring the pain, Freya replied, "It's nothing serious, just a minor injury! Let's hurry, those people will catch up soon."

Before she could finish her sentence, dizziness overcame her, and the man lifted her horizontally.

"Why did you bring this woman back?"

Patrick held Queeny, looking as if he were holding a hot potato.

"She's been poisoned, and I need to draw her blood for further testing. Plus, she approached Ben with a purpose. Take her back and interrogate her thoroughly. Maybe she'll reveal the forces behind her."

The men in black were highly skilled, indicating they had undergone rigorous training.

Moreover, the man with Queeny was clearly not an ordinary individual.

Bradley glanced at Patrick Perry, his eyes narrowing. "Listen to Freya, take her back and interrogate her thoroughly."

With that, he turned and left with Freya in his arms.

Nestled in his embrace, Freya's pale face was visible even in the darkness.

"In the future, you mustn't engage in such perilous activities. Queeny is not an ordinary person. What if something happened to you? What would I do?"

His tone betrayed his fear.

Freya pursed her lips, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at him.

"It was an emergency, I didn't have time to think!"

The man sighed heavily, holding her gently. "Then why didn't you call me?"

"I didn't have my phone!!"

Bradley felt a mixture of heartache and anger, but ultimately, he remained silent.

Suddenly, Freya seemed to recall something. "Wait, we need to go somewhere first."

"You've lost so much blood, let's go back and tend to your wound first."

"No, we can't. This matter is very important."

She insisted.

Bradley could only use a handkerchief to bandage her wound first to stop the bleeding.

The two of them returned to the alley, with Shadow Sect members following behind to guard against any sudden attacks.

After navigating through several twists and turns, Freya finally found the house.

It was empty inside, indicating that the man had already departed.

"What is this place?"

Bradley squinted, cautiously surveying his surroundings.

Freya explained, "I followed Queeny here and saw her with a man. Queeny even called him brother, and most importantly, the man said that he had sent Queeny to approach Ben."

"Did you see the man's appearance?"

Freya nodded, "Yes, I did. His features resemble Queeny's, they should be real siblings, but..."

"But what?"

"However, Queeny was drugged, her rationality somewhat abnormal. She still sought help from that man, and that man..."

She hesitated a bit, after all, it was late at night, discussing such matters alone with a man wasn't really appropriate.

But if she didn't explain clearly, Bradley wouldn't know the cause of the matter.

So, she shyly leaned closer to his ear and whispered softly.

Bradley's expression became even more grim as he listened.

Narrowing his eyes, he said in a deep voice, "You watched it all?"

"No! It hadn't even started yet, and that man noticed me! But I just don't understand, if it's a sibling relationship, then what they're doing, isn't it inappropriate..."

Bradley interrupted her, "Stop thinking about these trivial matters, you're not allowed to watch such things again in the future!"

After saying that, he gestured towards Shadow, "Search this house thoroughly, don't leave any corner nearby unchecked."

After giving the order, he immediately took Freya back to the villa.

She sustained an injury, her complexion turned ashen due to excessive blood loss.

Ella was anxiously waiting in the villa.

As they returned, she hurried over, asking, "How did you get hurt?"

"There were too many people on the other side, I accidentally got slashed."

"I blame myself for leaving. If I had stayed to assist you, this wouldn't have happened,"

Ella's eyes were welling up with guilt as she noticed the wound on her arm.

"Let's get you to the room quickly. I'll help treat the wound."

Bradley didn't say much, carefully carrying Freya upstairs and placing her on the bed.

Though the wound wasn't lengthy, it was deep.

The handkerchief was soaked with blood, and when it was removed, blood flowed out.

Ella swiftly assisted in stopping the bleeding.

Having been by Freya's side for many years and assisting in running the clinic, she had acquired some medical knowledge.

Once the bleeding ceased, she cleaned the bloodstains with cotton and applied medicine before wrapping the wound in gauze.

"This wound is quite substantial; it's bound to leave a scar!"

Despite the pain and her deathly pale complexion, Freya managed a faint smile.

"It's alright. Once it heals, the scar will fade gradually."

Ella wanted to say more but, seeing Bradley waiting nearby, she realized that he probably wanted to be alone with Freya, so she packed up the medical supplies and left.

When she left, she closed the door behind her.

Approaching Freya, Bradley's face was filled with concern.

Given her injury to her arm and shoulder, her upper clothing had been removed, leaving her in only a small vest.

The weather in Solterra is already very cold at this time.

Worried that she was cold, Bradley quickly raised the temperature.

Tenderly, he touched her wound, leaning down to place a gentle kiss on it.

Then, he pulled her into his arms.

"When Ella hurriedly returned and said you were following Queeny, do you know how worried I was?"

Freya gazed into his eyes.

In the depths of his dark pupils, there was an unshakeable worry.

Freya wrinkled her nose, her uninjured hand immediately reaching up to wrap around his neck.

She coquettishly called out, "Leo!"

Her soft voice caused Bradley's heart to skip a beat.

He lifted her up, settling her directly on his lap, then leaned down to kiss her eyes.

"Hmm?"

"I know I shouldn't have acted on my own, but I just wanted to help share your burden. Besides, even though I got injured, I discovered quite a few secrets and brought Queeny back for you."

Freya looked at him with pleading eyes, her watery gaze filled with mist, looking extremely pitiful.
