Chapter 371 I Want to Marry You.

Brian and his brother still laughed at these people for being as timid as rats.

They turned their head when they heard someone speak.

As they spotted a girl holding a little boy standing before a pile of firecrackers, their smile widened even more. "Miss, would you like to play with us?"

"Sure."

"That's great! Please help us light the firecrackers."

Brian tossed another handful of firecrackers down below.

Freya glanced over and realized they were just ordinary firecrackers with more power than usual.

These things were no big deal for her.

"I lit it, then what?" she said.

"Then, you go defuse the bomb. Defuse one and I'll give you money. You'll be my most honored guest," Brian exclaimed.

In the Duke's Palace, everyone feared them.

The boys liked playing these games alone, but it could have been more fun.

The moment someone offered to play with them, their eyes lit up.

Freya smiled. "I don't care about your money! I hope you can apologize to everyone present and leave here after I finish this!"

"Sure, we promise you."

Brian said excitedly.

He was so overjoyed that he couldn't tell north from south when someone offered to play with him.

"But if you can't defuse the bomb, everyone here will be blown to pieces."

Brody said, feigning innocence.

Freya narrowed her eyes coldly.

For such a young child, his mind was so vicious.

Unforgivable!

She clenched her fists. "Fine, but I suddenly thought of another condition. Besides apologizing, you must also be at my disposal if you lose. How about that?" she spoke with a cold voice.

Brian and Brody exchanged glances.

It had been a while since they had encountered someone so fun, so they agreed without much thought.

"Okay, we agree."

After all, they would have a trick up their sleeves. Even if Freya was skilled, she couldn't possibly win against them.

After reaching an agreement, Freya signaled for the other tourists to step back, then tossed a flame into the pile of firecrackers.

A deafening crackle filled the air as sparks flew in all directions. The brothers were stunned by her audacity.

They applauded and cheered, "You're amazing! Wow, this is so much fun!"

Freya tossed her hair and smirked. "Where's the bomb?"

"The red dots mark the locations of the hidden bombs, but I must warn you. Every time you find one, the timer for another bomb will be activated. If you can't defuse the bomb in time, the other will go off, too."

Freya's face darkened at this.

She never expected these kids to be so cunning, linking all the bombs' timers together.

It meant that if she couldn't defuse the bombs, all of them would start counting down and explode.

Not only would the entire amusement park be affected, but the surrounding area as well.

These two ruthless little kids!

True heirs to the Logan family, they're completely heartless!

Freya kept Matthew close by her side.

It was crowded and chaotic, with people in a state of panic. Freya couldn't be at ease if Matthew were anywhere else. Only by keeping him close could she focus on defusing the bomb.

"Mommy, Matt wants to help you too," Matthew said obediently.

Freya ruffled his hair. "Mommy doesn't need Matthew's help. Just stay by Mommy's side and don't run around. That's the biggest help you can give Mommy."

"Don't worry, Mommy. Matt won't run around!"

Freya smiled at him and then began searching for the bombs.

She soon arrived at the first bomb-hiding spot.

It was an extremely powerful bomb with a blast radius that could affect hundreds of miles around.

If she couldn't defuse it, everyone in the amusement park would perish!

Freya's brow furrowed deeply.

She stared at the two wires on the bomb, holding a pocketknife in her hand as she stepped closer.

At the same time.

Wolf Mountain.

The nanny called Bradley shortly after he arrived home.

"Sir, Madam took Matthew to the amusement park, and I couldn't persuade her to stay."

"It's all right. She'll take good care of him. Don't worry," replied Bradley in a deep voice.

Just as he finished speaking, Shadow hurried over.

"Sir, there's news from the amusement park. Someone has ignited firecrackers inside and they've also planted bombs."

Bradley's expression darkened immediately.

Freya just left the amusement park with Matthew and now someone had planted a bomb there.

He immediately hung up the phone and turned to Shadow. "Get the car ready. We're going to the amusement park."

...

Freya had received training in bomb disposal, so defusing bombs was no challenge for her.

She easily defused the first bomb and quickly found the second one.

Brian and Brody watched Freya's every move through binoculars.

When she defused the first bomb, both of them were amazed.

"Brian, this lady is a pro."

"She's pretty and she can play with me. I suddenly don't want her to die anymore."

"What will you do, Brian?"

"What else can I do? I've taken a liking to her. I'll bring her back to the Duke's Palace as my wife."

Brian looked at Freya with excitement in his eyes.

She moved effortlessly through the amusement park, quickly defusing most of the bombs.

Brian didn't know where he got the megaphone. "Pretty lady, the last bomb is not that easy!" he told her.

He and his brother were having fun, so they buried some random bombs.

These were all basic bombs that anyone with some knowledge of explosive disposal could defuse.

But the last bomb was the centerpiece of today's game.

It was a new type of bomb that just no one could defuse.

Brian and his brother originally wanted to scare the tourists but didn't expect to encounter someone with real skills.

Unexpectedly, that person was a young lady.

They dropped the last bomb under the pull-up bar and waited for Freya to come over.

10 minutes later.

Freya defused all the bombs and approached them with Matthew in her arms.

"Miss, you can still admit defeat now."

Brian squinted, a sly smile spreading across his face.

"If I admit defeat, will you stop these childish acts?" responded Freya with a scornful sneer.

"Of course, but I have a condition."

"What?"

Freya eyed them coldly.

"It's very simple. Come back to the Duke's Palace with me and I'll marry you."

"Pfft!"

Hearing this, Freya couldn't help but laugh.

A ten-year-old brat thinking of marrying her?

It was downright hilarious.

"Oh, boy. Have you grown up?"

Brian rubbed his nose and chuckled, "Don't look down on me just because I'm young. My mind is more mature than most people. As for my body, in a few years, I will become very mature and strong."

"You want me to wait for you to grow up?"

Freya laughed until tears filled her eyes. Children would always be incredibly naive.
