Chapter 376 Explosives Expert

The following day, the sun shone brightly.

Freya had stayed up too late the night before.

She slept until the sunrise before waking up.

She felt a chill across the bed when she opened her eyes, realizing Bradley had left.

She got out of bed, feeling pain and furrowing her brow.

It took her quite an effort to recover.

After a quick wash-up, she headed downstairs.

She saw Ella and Matthew playing there.

"You're awake!"

Ella saw her coming down, winking at her.

"Well, where is everybody?"

"Mr. Bradley and Mr. Jackson left early this morning!" Ella shrugged.

She hadn't seen Xavier's face since she arrived at the villa a few days ago.

She didn't know what he was doing and couldn't help it.

"I'll go to the dungeon to check on those two brats!"

She didn't say much more, striding toward the door.

Bradley stated Shadow struck Brian and his brother unconscious last night.

Coupled with the fact that Ian Logan didn't care about their lives, they were temporarily imprisoned in the dungeon.

She didn't care much about these two children's fate but was interested in their explosive skills.

"Freya, wait."

As she approached the entrance, Ella followed closely behind. "I'll come with you."

"Okay."

Freya nodded.

They arrived at the dungeon, where a burst of curses could be heard from afar.

"Let me go, or my dad will bring people to kill you all."

"That's right. My dad will soon become Solterra's king, and we will be the princes. I won't spare any of you if you dare to treat us like this."

Freya raised an eyebrow.

At the end of his life, his mouth was still so poisonous.

Solterra's king?

Huh!

Was Ian Logan worthy?

Freya stepped inside, coming to the place where they were imprisoned. She looked down at them with arms crossed.

"Are you guys comfortable here?"

"Pretty lady, you're here!"

Brian's tantrum vanished the moment Freya appeared."

"Can you ask Leonard to let us go, Miss? I promise we won't set off bombs at the amusement park anymore," Brody pleaded pitifully.

Freya raised an eyebrow. "We've already tipped off your dad, but he's too scared to come. So, you two can continue to stay here and enjoy yourselves for a few days."

Ian was heartless to leave his two sons here for his safety.

A man like him, lacking in responsibility and accountability, would sacrifice anything for personal gain.

If they let him be the king of Solterra, would Solterrans still have a good life in the future?

"Pretty lady, we truly understand our mistake now."

Brian was terrified.

He didn't want to stay in this dungeon any longer.

It was eerie here, with rats and cockroaches.

The worst part was that Shadow would occasionally come to torture them and he was dying of pain.

"All right, here's a deal. Tell me where you learned your explosive skills and I'll have them ease up on the punishment."

Freya sat down opposite them, playing with a silver needle in her hand.

"I learned it from my master."

"Who is your master?"

Freya was extremely interested in this explosive expert.

If she could recruit this person, she could help Bradley achieve his goal of restoring the country.

However, they couldn't risk leaving such a dangerous person at large if he refused.

"Let us go and I'll tell you everything."

Brian bargained.

He had long realized that Ian would not come to their rescue. After all, their mother always cleaned up their messes after they got into trouble.

Ian was a self-serving coward who only cared about her interests.

If he didn't come to their rescue, they had to find a way to save themselves.

"Do you think you're still able to bargain with me?"

Freya crossed her legs and raised an eyebrow at them. "If you don't want to talk, then I'll just stick a few needles into you. Trust me, it won't feel good. Do you want to give it a try?"

She twirled a few silver needles between her thin fingers.

The silver needles shimmered with a sharp light under the sunlight.

"Have you made up your mind? Are you going to tell me or not?"

"Wait, Lovely Lady. Let's talk this over calmly."

"Then talk."

Freya smiled, squinting her eyes.

Although gorgeous, her smile was like a cunning little fox.

Brian got fascinated.

He had seen many beautiful girls in the Duke's Palace, but none as stunning as Freya.

She was like a celestial goddess, breathtakingly beautiful.

The next second, he noticed the needle in her hand and shrank back in fear.

His mother always said that pretty women were all bad to the core.

"Even if I tell you, you wouldn't know him. Besides, my master has already retired and I can't find him now."

"It's okay. Just tell me the truth and I'll find a way to reach him."

Brian's eyes sparkled with a glint.

His master had warned him never to reveal his whereabouts for fear of attracting deadly consequences.

So, he couldn't tell them.

"It seems I'll have to make you talk the hard way."

Without another word, Freya's silver needles flew out and pierced directly into his arm.

"Ah!"

A scream rang out.

Brian fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

Painful and itching sensations crept throughout him. He cried and laughed, his expression extremely strange.

"Will you talk or not?"

She brandished another silver needle, her gaze shifting to Brody.

Brody was more timid and cowardly, making him an easier target.

Watching his brother writhe on the ground and Freya's needle frightened him.

"Please don't stab me. I'll talk, I'll talk."

"You're such a coward, Brody. If you dare to say, I'll beat you to death."

Brian warned fiercely.

A choked scream followed his last words as a needle pierced the corner of his mouth.

The pain made his mouth crooked.

"I'll tell you! My master is Mr. Shadow Specter. He used to work for the Duke's Palace, but he retired several years ago. I don't know where he lives now."

Shadow Specter?

Freya squinted.

The world's most renowned explosive expert was Morgan Wilder and he passed away from an illness over a decade ago.

She heard that Morgan took on an apprentice before his death.

Yet, these apprentices never revealed their identity and no one knew who they were.

Could Mr. Shadow Specter, whom Brody mentioned, be Morgan's successor?

"What is Mr. Shadow Specter's real name?" she asked.

Brody shook his head. "I'm clueless about that. My dad called him Mr. Shadow Specter, too, but he didn't reveal anything else."

Observing his earnest expression, she didn't suspect him of lying.

She didn't continue to press further but instead turned to Ella.

"Go investigate Morgan Wilder's background."
