Chapter 425 But I Don't Like Her

"What's your relationship with Shadow One? Why did she secretly take photos of you? Does she like you?"

"Also, she was here for your morning swim, and were you together all night?"

Freya bombarded him with a series of questions.

She glared at her phone as if she wished to bore a hole through it.

Just a while ago, she thought he looked handsome, but now she found him utterly insipid.

"Bradley, if you don't explain this clearly, don't come looking for me for the next few days," Freya was angry, grabbing her phone and hurling it at him. "Get out now."

Bradley had nothing to say.

Shadow One was a loyal subordinate who would never pry into her master's private life.

So, was Shadow One took all those photos?

"Freya, it's not what you think," he embraced her from behind. "Let me explain."

"Explain what? Do you want to say that all of this was just an accident, and Shadow One has no feelings for you?"

A woman secretly taking photos of a man in swimwear.

What's to explain?

The facts were clear; Shadow One liked him!

"Shadow One is just a member of Sigelac, and she works for me. That's all."

"Works for you? Does that mean she has to do it in bed?"

Freya was so angry she didn't filter her words.

Hearing this, Bradley's expression became extremely unpleasant.

He forcefully pushed her onto the bed, and his deep eyes were filled with coldness.

"Freya Lawson, you're becoming bolder; you dare utter such words."

He used her full name for the first time, signaling his anger at her remarks.

However, Freya's annoyance grew. She shoved him away and retorted, "Then what am I supposed to say? You have a female bodyguard around you. Even if you don't reciprocate her feelings, can you assure that she harbors none for you?"

"Bradley, are you genuinely oblivious or feigning ignorance? It's obvious that Shadow One has feelings for you, can't you see that?"

"But I don't like her."

While he couldn't comprehend Shadow One's thoughts, he was certain that his love was solely reserved for Freya.

"I don't want to hear it. Please go, I need some space."

It wasn't that she lacked faith in him.

She simply couldn't bear the idea of another woman observing her husband every day.

And those swimsuit photos, aside from a little covering, showed everything.

She couldn't stand him being seen like that by other women.

Not even by a personal female bodyguard.

Seeing her so agitated, Bradley had no choice but to get off the bed and leave.

He walked to the door and assured her in a stern tone, "I'll thoroughly investigate this matter. Please don't be upset."

Initially, he had planned to share an intimate moment with her and experiment with some new ideas.

Little did he anticipate that he would be abruptly dismissed by just a single remark from her.

Bradley's countenance darkened like a gathering storm.

He strode to the study, deleting the photos from Freya's phone and then called for Shadow.

"Can you identify who took these photos?"

He tossed the phone to Shadow, displaying the swimsuit images on the screen.

Shadow briefly glanced at them, his expression instantly turning grim.

Before, Shadow accidentally saw these photos in Shadow One's phone album, and he immediately told Shadow One to delete them, but she didn't delete them and kept them.

Now, Bradley had found out. How should he explain this?

"What are you standing there for? Investigate if you don't know!" Bradley's face was gloomy, his dark eyes filled with a terrifying coolness.

He never liked being observed in his life, but someone actually took photos of him secretly.

"Mr. Bradley."

Shadow suddenly knelt down in front of him, begging for forgiveness, "I took the photos, please punish me!"

Once it's discovered that it was Shadow One who took them, Bradley would definitely not let her off.

If his sister behaves so absurdly, as her elder brother, it's his fault for not educating her properly, and he will bear all the blame.

"Shadow, you've really outdone yourself!"

Bradley's voice turned glacial. "Madam found these photos in Shadow One's phone. Are you still going to shield her?"

"It's not Shadow One's fault. I made the decision myself. I'll accept your punishment willingly."

Bradley clenched his fists.

His figure was shrouded in darkness, evoking an image of a demon emerging from hell.

He exuded an icy chill, and his momentum was overwhelming and suffocating!

Shadow remained kneeling, frozen in place.

Time seemed to stand still.

After some time, Bradley's voice broke the silence. "Accept the responsibility, and delete all the photos for me."

"Yes."

Shadow One paced nervously in her room.

She had just discovered her phone had been hacked. Not only were her stored photos stolen, but they were also completely wiped out.

The hacker was skilled, leaving nothing behind, making recovery impossible.

She had no idea who the hacker was or why they targeted her photos.

The album was filled with pictures she had secretly taken of Bradley. If they were leaked, the consequences would be dire.

The more Shadow One thought about it, the more panicked she became.

She felt completely helpless.

Suddenly, the door was forcefully pushed open.

She was startled.

Seeing her brother, she let out a scolding, "Shadow, you scared me."

"If you weren't guilty, why would you be scared?" Her brother's tone was cold.

"What's wrong? Why are you so angry?"

"What's wrong with me? Don't you know? Where did you hide the photos I told you to delete?"

"Shadow, what are you talking about?"

"Stop pretending, Shadow One. You've hidden all of Mr. Bradley's photos, and he knows."

Hearing this, Shadow One's face went pale.

So, all the lost photos were now in Mr. Bradley's possession.

Was Mr. Bradley the hacker?

"Mr. Bradley is furious. If I hadn't taken all the blame, would you still be here?"

Shadow suddenly grabbed her wrist forcefully, causing her pain.

Shadow One winced, feeling her heart race.

She looked at him with a sense of injustice.

Her brother, who never used to get this angry with her, now had bloodshot eyes, emitting a chilling aura.

"Shadow, you're hurting me."

"Do you know why it hurts yet you never learn? You know very well that Mr. Bradley's heart can never belong to you, so why do you persist in your delusions?" Shadow was utterly disappointed in her.

He had always cherished this sister since childhood, always protecting her under his wing, which had nurtured her indulgent and willful temperament.

He had let go of past grievances, but today, Mr. Bradley clearly had suspicions.

Even if he took all the blame, Mr. Bradley was such a perceptive person, how could he not suspect that he was lying?

"Shadow, have you ever loved someone?" Shadow One bit her lip as she looked at him, tears welling up in her eyes. "You haven't, so you don't know what it feels like to love someone. I have loved him for so many years, it's already deeply etched in my heart, I can't just erase it."
