Chapter 433 I've Been Waiting for You, Honey

The moment their eyes met, the air became still.

Bradley extinguished his cigarette and tossed it aside as he strode toward Freya.

"I've been waiting for you for a very long time, Honey."

He tightly embraced her. His body smelled faintly of tobacco. His deep and cold eyes shimmered with endless affection.

The endearment struck a chord in her heart, making her breath catch.

Freya hid in his embrace, feeling sweet and happy in her heart.

Perhaps it had been a week since they last saw each other, but now that she saw him, she felt unusually nervous.

In her ears was his gentle voice. "Where did you go? Why did you come back so late? Don't you know that I would worry about you?"

Freya pursed her lips and said, "I went to see a patient and lost track of time."

She suddenly remembered that he had mentioned in a text message about booking a restaurant and wanting to go on a date to watch a movie with her.

However, she forgot everything as soon as she got busy.

"I haven't eaten yet. Is the restaurant still open?"

She looked up at him, blinking her eyes in a pitiful way.

"Yes, it's open. Let's go eat now."

He came back from Wolf Mountain before it got dark and had been waiting at home for her to return.

Worried that something might have happened to her, he sent a lot of people to look for her and used a tracking device to trace her signal, but the signal was blocked once it reached a certain area.

He anxiously waited at the door.

Luckily, she returned safe and sound.

"After dinner, is the cinema still open?"

"Don't worry, I will have them be open 24 hours."

The man's deep, pleasing voice carried a hint of laughter.

A sweet sensation spread through her heart as she played with the buttons on his shirt, playfully saying, "Let's go now. We don't want to make them wait for us too long."

"Okay."

After he said that, he scooped her up in a bridal carry.

Freya was caught off-guard and cried out in surprise, hugging his neck with both hands.

"Honey, put me down. I can walk by myself."

Her face turned bright red.

He lowered his gaze to look at her, and his lips curved into a smile. "The swimsuit is ready. After dinner, we can swim together."

Although the words were perfectly normal, they carried a hint of mischief that made her blush and her heart race even harder.

His voice was very charming. He was sex on legs with his sensual and deep voice and perfect appearance.

She pursed her lips and asked, "Are you free tomorrow morning? I'll take you to meet someone."

"Mm."

"Aren't you going to ask me who we're meeting?"

"If it's someone you want me to meet, then they must be important. You handle it."

Freya felt warm as she heard that. Did he really trust her this much?

The bodyguard pulled the car over.

Bradley carried her into the car, holding her hand tightly in his and never letting go for a moment.

The car arrived at the restaurant, and Bradley got out first. He walked around to her side to open the car door for her.

As the two of them approached hand in hand, a waiter came forward to serve them.

"Mr. Austin, everything is ready. Please follow us."

Bradley nodded and led Freya inside.

The magnificent decor was dazzling and overstimulating.

They walked to their seats in the large dining room where besides the waitstaff. There were only the two of them in the whole room.

"You've reserved the whole place?" Freya asked in surprise.

He smiled, squeezed her hand, and nodded in confirmation.

Pleasant piano music filled the air, and the bright lights turned into a warm yellow hue.

The room was tranquil, beautiful, seductive, and cozy.

After the waitstaff served their food, they respectfully poured red wine for the two of them.

"Mr. Austin, Mrs. Austin, please enjoy your meal."

They then left the room.

The couple dined facing each other, with the light shining on Freya, giving her a faint golden glow.

The meal, enhanced by the atmosphere, was delicious. Freya ate a lot and let out a satisfied sigh.

After the meal, Bradley took her to a nearby cinema to watch a movie.

The cinema was still open at this hour, with people coming in sporadically.

"Honey, wait for me. I'm going to buy some popcorn," she said.

She then turned around and walked toward the concession stand.

Bradley sat waiting. His gaze followed her as she left while the smile disappeared from his lips.

His expression turned cold and distant, making people hesitant to approach.

Freya reached the concession stand and ordered some popcorn.

Just then, a familiar female voice came from beside her. "Can I get two servings of popcorn and two coke?"

Freya slowly turned her head, only to find herself looking at a familiar face.

Their eyes met with shock shining in them.

"Freya, why are you here?"

"I came with Bradley. What about you? With Dr. Jackson?"

"Yes."

Ella nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed.

They left the medical hall when Xavier suggested going out on a date.

She did not really like clingy behavior in the first place, but when they reached the entrance of the cinema, Xavier pulled her in close, saying he wanted to watch a movie.

After some thought, she agreed.

She did not expect to meet Freya here.

"Ella, I find you're becoming more and more feminine recently."

Freya's gaze fell on her, with a bright look in her eyes.

Tonight, Ella was wearing a white T-shirt with a pair of ripped jeans and white sneakers. It made her look as innocent as college student.

More importantly, even though she never wore makeup, she had applied a light and natural-looking makeup with lipstick.

Ella is already very attractive, but with her short and neat hair, she always looked rather androgynous.

However, in this get-up, her delicate and tender side was revealed.

Ella blushed at the compliment.

She pursed her lips and awkwardly asked, "Is this look, nice?"

"Nice."

Freya gave her a thumbs-up.

While they were getting friendly, Bradley was getting impatient and took out a cigarette to smoke.

At that moment, a sexy woman walked in.

She looked up and saw the man leaning against the wall and smoking. Her heart pounded as her cheeks turned bright red.

She had come to watch a movie with a friend, but that friend had not arrived yet. Thus, she decided to wait inside.

She had not expected to see such a handsome and charming man waiting.

Her gaze lingered on Bradley for a few moments, quickly estimating his worth.

Although the man was dressed discreetly, his shirt cuff was rolled up, revealing an expensive diamond watch on his wrist.

The woman could tell at a glance that it was a custom-made watch, estimated to cost more than 50 million.

It seemed this man would be a great catch with both power and money.

The woman narrowed her seductive eyes.

In appearance and height, in taste and temperament, this man was exactly what she dreamed of.

She could not let him go no matter what.

The woman swayed her slender waist as she walked toward him.

Then, she pretended to accidentally twist her foot. She cried out sweetly, falling toward him.

The man, who was smoking, furrowed his brows deeply and moved away.

The woman thought he would catch her, but to her surprise, he casually walked away, leaving her sitting on the ground.

"Ouch!"

She cried in pain with tears welling up in her eyes.
