Chapter 436 Swimming Together

In the car.

Freya looked at her clothes that had turned into rags and coyly glared at Bradley.

She could forgive the scene at the cinema, but he became particularly clingy in the car. It was almost as if he wanted to eat her up.

Every time she thought about what had just happened, her cheeks burned even brighter and her heart beat faster.

The man responsible for all this mischief had one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand holding onto her hand while a satisfied smile was seen on his face.

He thought that after being together for so long, she would have been used to everything about him.

However, he did not expect that simply changing locations would make her so shy.

Nothing happened in the car. They just a little chat. Still, the blush on her face had not faded since then. She also just glared at him and remained silent.

"Let's go home for a swim."

His lips tilted upward as he started the car.

The surprises planned for the night were not over yet. His mind was full of images of her in a swimsuit.

Previously, when he looked at the edited photos of her in a swimsuit, his mouth would go dry.

He simply could not help but wonder if he would lose control and pounce on her if he saw her in a swimsuit in person.

"If you want to swim, swim by yourself. I'm going home to sleep."

Freya patted her red cheeks as her heart pounded in her ears.

This kind of experience was a first for her. It was simply embarrassing.

She felt too ashamed to even look at anyone.

Not to mention the fact that at the cinema, it felt like someone was staring at them the entire time. She did not know if she was being too paranoid or if she was mistaken.

Despite her nervousness, she was eventually conquered by the man, and in the end, forgot everything.

Now, she was exhausted and just wanted to collapse on the soft big bed to fall into a deep sleep.

"No. I have been waiting for today for a long time."

The man's cold tone echoed in the quiet space.

He held the steering wheel and drove attentively.

Freya was really tired. Leaning her head against the seat, she fell into a deep sleep.

She had no idea when Bradley carried her out of the car.

When she woke up, she felt that the air was humid. She also had goosebumps all over her body.

She opened her tired eyes and saw a shimmering pool of water before her.

When she looked down, she realized her clothes had been changed to a swimsuit at some point.

It was the sexy bikini set that Bradley had sent her a photo of.

She blushed bright red.

When she was asleep, Bradley personally changed her into a swimsuit and even bullied her.

Every inch of her skin was covered in his scent.

Every spot felt like it had been bitten. It was easy to extrapolate just how crazed he was.

She quickly grabbed a nearby towel to wrap her body before looking around for Bradley.

On the clear lake, a figure swam gracefully in the water.

The man was wearing tight swim trunks but no goggles. Every stroke he made with his agile body exuded a heavily masculine aura.

With just one glance, Freya felt her cheeks burning again as her heart felt like it would jump out of her throat.

This man was the epitome of perfection. Every smile and twitch from him would make people weak in the knees.

Not to mention how sensual he looked while swimming. It was a blatant seduction.

Perhaps he sensed that she had awakened as he turned toward her direction.

Their eyes met, and the air seemed to freeze.

"Frey, come on in."

Bradley beckoned to her.

He swam to the shore with water droplets clinging to his eyelashes as he exuded his male charm to its fullest.

Freya adjusted her bath towel. Her voice was hoarse as she said, "No, you go ahead and swim."

Who knew what might happen once she got into the water?

Her body could not handle any more torment.

However, the man unexpectedly leaped out of the water and approached her.

There was not an ounce of visible fat on his athletic body.

His skin was even clearer and shinier after his dip in the water.

His strong muscles exude power, and the perfect dip around his hips were simply irresistible.

Most important of all were the eight-pack abs that Freya feel like she was going to get a nosebleed.

"W-Why are you here instead of swimming?"

Freya swallowed her saliva as her confused mind drew a blank.

As the man slowly approached, her heartbeat became even more erratic and frantic.

She could not deny that Bradley's body proportions were way too perfect.

She had dissected many male bodies during medical school and had never seen such a physique. Not even international models could compare to him.

This man was truly a masterpiece among men.

"If you don't come down to the water, then I'll come up and carry you."

He pulled away her bathrobe and bent over to carry her.

The water droplets from his wet hair dripped down and onto Freya.

The sudden burst of cold made her shiver uncontrollably.

Before she could react, he picked her up in a bridal carry while her arms were wrapped around his neck.

"Bradley, put me down."

"Swim."

His deep voice echoed in her ears.

Before Freya could respond, she felt her body hang in the air as she was thrown.

The wind whistled in her ears as her body fell into the water, sending waves of cold water rippling away and covering her entire body at once.

She heard a little plop sound when the water splashed her in the face.

Under the water, a figure gracefully swam over. Bradley suddenly emerged from the water, popping his head up.

"Bradley, when did you become so childish? How could you just leave me behind like that? What if I didn't know how to swim?"

Freya glared at him, extremely irritated.

"You can swim. Back on the boat, we even jumped into the water," Bradley replied.

Thinking of Herbie, Freya's gaze toward the man changed.

Bradley had taken a bullet for her, pushing her and Herbie into the sea to protect them from the drug lords.

It was then that she truly understood her feelings.

He was a man who could protect her.

Indeed, he had the ability to keep her safe for a lifetime.

"How dare you bring that up? It was clearly all part of your scheme," Freya accused.

Previously, Freya did not feel anything special, but with Bradley's identity exposed, she gradually understood some things.

Bradley's combat skills were very good, and his speed was astonishingly fast.

At that time, he could have easily avoided that shot, but he did not. Instead, he used his own body to block it.

The man gently embraced her from behind and said in a deep voice, "If I didn't do it, how would I have known your feelings for me?"

At that time, she kept him at arm's length, causing him to waver.

He had no choice but to resort to his last option just to force her to open her heart.

"Those things you said to Gabriel at that time, were they deliberately said for me to hear?"

Freya remembered very clearly that Gabriel was furious because of Bradley's injury.

He even questioned whether Bradley had gone crazy.

He said to Gabriel that no matter what she wanted to do, he would support her, even if it cost him his life.

She had been crouching outside the door, eavesdropping, and those words deeply moved her.
