Chapter 464 Ruin Her Reputation

High-end beauty salon.

In a Supreme VIP maintenance room, the sounds of a woman crying echoed through the room.

On the beauty chair, Lucy's face was covered with a mask while her eyes were full of disgust.

She lightly patted the mask and rolled her eyes.

"Honestly, Selena, have you cried enough? You've been crying since you came in. You've cried until my mask turned white," she coldly said.

Selena's face was full of tears. Her makeup was smudged while her eyeshadow was smeared all over her face, making her look like a ghost.

She wiped away her tears and said in a choking voice, "Lucy, you have to help me. A few days ago, I designed a few new products that sold out, but just now, those customers suddenly rushed into the studio to return the goods. They say... the fabric of the clothes is not good enough as their skin itched when wearing them."

Lucy laughed at her.

She looked at her mockingly. "Selena, are you also deceiving your customers with inferior fabric, or are you stupid enough to poison your own clothes? How could you make the same mistake as Julia?"

Selena cried and shook her head. "I did not do it. After the last lesson, I wouldn't dare use tainted fabric again, let alone poison it myself."

"Undoubtedly, it's someone else's scheme."

Lucy swiftly declared.

Upon hearing this, Selena immediately stopped crying. She stared at Lucy with wide eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Are you trying to scare me? Or do you suspect me?"

"No. Why would I suspect you?" Selena kept hiccupping as she continued, "It must be that despicable Freya. She wants revenge."

"She is now on the same boat with you. If she plays dirty, won't you strike back? Besides, both of you are in trouble. Whoever can clean up their act will survive. As for your customers, they are just returning goods. They haven't taken you to court yet. There is still a chance for you to make amends. I suggest you go back and appease those customers. Compensate them where necessary, so that things don't get out of hand."

"As for Freya, she is busy with lawsuits now. She probably doesn't have the time to clean up her image. Why don't you stir things up a bit and thoroughly ruin her reputation, so she can never make a comeback?"

Excitedly, Selena asked, "Do you have any good ideas?"

"Very simple. Why don't you try to pay off those people who caused trouble at Julia's store before? As long as they are willing to stand on your side, the blame for Julia's brand will be set."

Lucy could not wait for Freya to die.

This woman had gotten what she wanted, and that could not be allowed to continue on.

"Lucy, you are really amazing. I know what to do now."

A hint of malicious light flashed in Selena's eyes.

She was certainly in danger now, but as long as she shifted all attention toward Julia's store, the public would only be spectators with no interest in her affairs.

"Here are the contact details of those people. Contact them and make sure they stand on your side no matter what. I not only want Julia's brand to disappear from the world, but I also want to make Freya spend a few years in prison."

Then, no one would compete with her for Leonard, and she could become his woman.

"Don't worry. I will make sure to get this done. That wretched woman will never come out for the rest of her life."

Selena took the contact information and hurriedly left.

Just as she left, a dark figure emerged from the shadows.

Lucy quickly sat up from the massage chair, looking at her and said, "I have already given the contact information to Selena. With her methods, she can definitely win over those people. By then, Freya will definitely not escape being imprisoned."

The other party coldly replied, "Do you really think Freya is so easy to deal with? Let me tell you, with Selena's pig-headedness, she will only end up being led by the nose, gaining absolutely no benefits."

"What should we do then?" Lucy urgently asked.

"First, let Selena handle Freya. Simultaneously, you should also take action. It's best to find that employee who poisoned the fabric. Have her testify in court, pointing all the evidence toward Freya. With both witness and material evidence, Freya will definitely not be able to get away," the other party advised.

Upon hearing this, Lucy nodded. "Don't worry. I will do as you say. I have always been curious. Why do you want to get rid of Freya? Do you have a grudge against her?"

"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask. Otherwise, I will withdraw from the partnership. With your abilities, you are simply unable to get rid of Freya, let alone get close to Leonard." The other party's voice was cold and unrecognizable due to a voice changer.

Although displeased by the sharp words, Lucy dares not refute.

The other party's abilities were evident to her. Even though the person had not revealed their identity, she could tell that this was not an ordinary individual.

However, she did not care. As long as the other party was an ally willing to help her get rid of Freya, a little grievance was insignificant to her.

The shadow did not linger, leaving just as fast as it arrived.

Lucy watched the disappearing figure before tearing off her face mask with a smug smile on her lips.

So many people wanted Freya dead while she wanted Leonard. Why worry about having no chance of winning?

...

In the apartment.

White Fox was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed, eating sunflower seeds and watching a horror movie.

Suddenly, the phone rang.

She screamed in fright, spilling the seeds all over the floor.

"Who the heck is this?"

White Fox glanced at the caller ID. It was an unknown number.

She cursed under her breath and picked up the phone.

Selena, who had just been cursed out, muttered discontentedly, "Do you have no manners?"

"Well, I don't know what manners are. You better introduce yourself right away. Get to the point. Stop wasting my time with nonsense," White Fox replied.

Selena wanted to hang up the phone due to how angry that tone made her.

However, as she was asking for a favor, she held back her frustration and politely asked, "Are you Miss Sunny?"

Sunny?

White Fox was momentarily taken aback.

However, she soon remembered that the identity was used to cause trouble at Julia's store.

"Yes. Who are you?" White Fox impatiently asked.

If someone tracked her down with that identity, it was probably not for a good reason.

Selena explained, "Well, I'm Selena. I have a business proposition to discuss with you. Are you interested?"

Selena?

Arch-rival of Freya?

Well, it seemed like trouble is brewing!

White Fox snorted. "What business? I'll only do it if the price is right."

"Don't worry. As long as you can get it done, the price is negotiable."

"Then, tell me. I'll consider it."

White Fox originally did not want to deal with her, but this person was Selena, so she decided to play along with her out of boredom.

She was curious to see what this woman was up to.

Selena explained the collaboration to her, and White Fox was surprised by what she heard.

This woman was truly clueless and stupid enough to think she could hire White Fox to take on the boss.

This was interesting now.
